We had an extremely negative experience with this company. When our A/C stopped working, they installed a brand-new outdoor and rooftop unit. Less than a month later, in the middle of the Las Vegas summer heat, water started leaking from the ceiling--first upstairs, then downstairs. When I went up to the roof, I saw water pouring directly from the A/C unit, even though such systems are supposed to have a shut-off valve if water accumulates. I called the company immediately, but their response was shocking: they flatly refused to come out, told us to turn the A/C off in 110°F heat, and said it was "not their responsibility" anymore. Instead, they told me to call my home warranty and wait for another company. Meanwhile, the leak destroyed parts of our ceiling, walls, and hardwood floors. Paint peeled off, wood swelled up, and now everything needs expensive restoration. This level of negligence is unacceptable. Their representatives showed zero competence, accountability, or professionalism. If you value your home and your safety, stay away from this company. We will be pursuing this matter further through court and insurance. read more

My home warranty company sent they to help with some heater issues. Scheduled a technician to come right away between 1pm to 4pm. Our heater beeps after many hours of working, so we kept the heater on hoping when the technician arrives they will hear the issue immediately. They called around 3:30pm, saying they will come soon. Around 4:30pm, I called them again, they said they need one more hour. 5:30pm, they can't say when will they come, but they will "definitely" come today and we don't know when and they refused to give us concrete timeline. It's been damn hot in the room since we have to have the heater on all the time when waiting otherwise we are afraid of the problem won't be obvious when they come. Never would use their service again and will ask home warranty to refer another service. Wasted my whole day so far! read more

My new warranty needed invoices & the woman who answered your phones 2/19 times said she would find our invoice, but it might take some time. We waited patiently for 3 days. She finally "found it" & answered our calls but she needed payment to send us an invoice. Thought that was weird, but sent the payment anyway. She never sent the invoice. It's been a week, multiple phone calls, & $70 payment. Luckily we found a way around the invoice but for a while, our warranty refused to service without that invoice. She knew that. So we would have been without AC (in the middle of a 110 Vegas summer) all because she can't send us the invoice she claimed was "right in front of her." After many rings, the lady finally answered sounding like she was eating and many kids running rampant and loud in the background. JT TEMPERATURE has done a great job for us for several different calls over the past couple of years. They schedule quickly and then keep me updated on their arrival time. We had been having issues with our AC unit blowing hot air, so the home warranty company sent out a tech from a who did NOTHING, but still told the company that he replaced a part. After several recalls the air still was not working, so the warranty company finally transferred the case to JT TEMPERATURE. They came in and fixed the problem and replaced the parts. The motor in the unit was literally sparking and a big fire hazard, so glad it did not go up in flames before! Today, Brian and Morris were able to quickly make the needed repairs for my sink as well as fix a low flow issue for my refrigerator water line. While they were here my AC started blowing hot air again, so I got my home warranty company to send them a work order right then and they were able to also get my AC running and replaced the needed part while they were here. My heat wasn't working so I called my home warranty company and within 10 minutes of getting off the phone I had a phone call from JT temperature. Da Quan came out the first time diagnosed the problem and quickly ordered the part needed then came back out to fix it with Joseph. Not only were they extremely professional, but they were very kind and made me feel very comfortable having them in my home. They wouldn't even let me tip them even though they deserved it. At one point it looked like my pump was stuck and I would need a new one, but they worked the problem and got it unstuck so I would not have to wait for another part to be ordered. They also helped avoid turning the water off to my entire building so my neighbors wouldn't be upset and found a way around it. They also gave me a heads up about a possible future issue with my water heater so I could inform my home warranty. I will be asking my home warranty to use the same company. They have a great system for communication texting and informing you when your tech is on the way and what his name is and you can track their arrival on a map. Very impressed to say the least from the very start. Then the technician shows up and is friendly as you would have hoped and took time to listen to our concerns and fast to diagnose the problem with our unit. He tested everything for functionality after fixing the problem which to me was going above and beyond to make sure we both knew the condition of the heating and A/C unit. We contacted this company through our home warranty and they are the worst! They came out regarding the AC not working on Tues at 1 pm. They stated we needed a new compressor and would contact the home warranty for an approval. When asked how long that would take they didn't know. We called Wednesday at 8 am and no one was in the office til 8:15 am to answer the phone. In the meantime spoke with our warranty company and the contractor had not submitted the paperwork for approval. Finally reached the contractor and was told they were busy and didn't have time to submit for approval but it would be done sometime today. When asked once approval is received how long for them to replace the part and again was told they didn't know because they had to order the part. My mother is physically disabled, it will be 110 degrees this weekend and this company couldn't care less when her AC would be repaired. When I asked to speak to a supervisor the girl on the phone "Tracy" said the supervisor wasn't in and said she was the office manager and she wasn't going to argue with me which is exactly what she did. Our home warranty gave us another company that couldn't come out til weds and the guy was rude. So they rerouted us to JT. There was a mix up with scheduling via the HW. This company is the worst company ever!! Do not call this company they charge us $275 and they never fixed my air they came to my house 2 times and didn't fix it at all , they lied to us and to our insurance company after they "TRY" to fix it 2 TIMES ! We called them to fix it for the third time and they ended up saying that there were bees in the roof of house they asked us to hire a pest control company and we did hire Pest Control the same day, got inspection an hour later of they request and the pest control certified that there were NO Bees at ALL, Juan one of the employees was making excuses and lying because they don't know how to do their job we spend more than 275 because we had to hire a pest control inspector that it cost $50. so we can have the paperwork that they never asked at the very begining of the job, all that stupid requirement to finish their job and ended up not doing anything they where making us waste money and time, this is the worst company!! do not call them !!! we had to hire a different company because is so hot in Vegas 115 , can NOT have my family a second week without AC , they also didn't reimburse the money didn't do anything they just stole our money read more

Even going through our home warranty we had no issue with their work and they were very honest with what was gonna be done and what was covered and might not be covered. Family owned honest business! We had an issue with our AC not going down temp and not turning off when reached temp. It just kept running and out here in Vegas it's way too hot in the summer and the bill is crazy. They called right away when service request was sent and schedulers was very professional and nice to talk to. Technician Joseph and Morris came out. Inspected everything thoroughly. It was the compressor that needed to be replace. And our Condenser coils to be cleaned. Sent through warranty and approved for compressor to be replaced and recharged. The condenser coils to be cleaned wasnt but price $185 was really reasonable price compared to everyone elses price. They came back with in 6 days and replaced everything. Great work tipped them $25 and offered drinks. Then after 4 days we were experiencing the same issue called warranty asap to get them to come out again. Recalled work to come out. Look liked freon was leaking we saw a pile of oil and water. We changed filters and thermostat to see if those were the problem. But nope hot air was still blowing set at 75 but was at 85 and just kept going up from there. They came out asap same technicians everything inspected and came out ok. Freon leaked looks like someone was taking it per what Joseph said. My husband and I were baffled to know people actually steal Freon. Wtf crazy. He was nice enough to fill some Freon we lost even though he didn't have too since it wasn't a recall it wasn't anything they did. He was honest that it might not be covered through warranty with trip charge and Freon but he would eat the charge to help us out. Also, they had put something so they know if someone had tampered with our Freon again. I called my warranty Old Republic to check if they would cover Freon and trip charge, spoke with Deshawn who was baffled to that people actually steal Freon but confirmed it was covered. Again honest and excellent service tipped $20 and offered drinks, its least we can do for them helping us out. Another thing I must commend is Joseph his the owner and the technician. It says a lot about a person who is very compassionate about his business/job. That even though he owns the business, he still works out there making sure everyone is taken care of. Also, please with hard working people like these offer them water and drinks in this heat and tip them. They work real hard a little goes a long way. This was Friday at 1.06 p.m.. Company contacted me to make an appointment on Saturday. Thought that would be good service. Technician came out as promised and worked for about 4 hours and determined a faulty relay had to be replaced. Told me that they did not have one and it had to be ordered on Monday. Monday received an email from a competitor to schedule an appointment to survey the problem. I called JT Temperature and was told that they do not work on mobile homes. Now Tuesday and A/C is still down and new company will not be available until late on Tuesday. Advice to someone wanting to use JT Temperature - DON'T. read more

Great service. Great attitude. Great guys. Great work. Awesome finished product. Old Republic Home Warranty sent them to my house after the carbon monoxide alarms were going off. The wife and roommates called the fire department. Turns out the up and downstairs furnaces were spitting fire in the crawl space above the dining room and the attic above my bedroom. They showed me pictures of the burn marks then again when they pulled the units out. We replaced both condensers and both units entirely. He showed us how to do a cash out on the work needed to be done through the insurance company then we'd have to finance the rest. Luckily the insurance company gave us 3,000 of the 11,000 needed. This was over a 6 business day span from the initial diagnosis till the brand new Trane units were installed. They laid plastic down where they would be tracking through the house and offered to vacuum the carpet when they were done. They installed the nest thermostats up and downstairs. Between the new windows in the entire house and these units we should save a ton during those summer months. Joesph showed me each time a new section of the system was installed and each time the units were to be ready to be tested. He also mentioned that if the ac isn't cold enough in the summer they'd come out and add more Freon to the system no questions asked. They're super friendly around big dogs too. They didn't mind mine were loose and following them around the house sniffing out the work. Would recommend these guys over anybody else. No questions asked. read more

They just finished checking my A/C and even though it needed parts to be ordered, they made sure I have some air working till they replace the part, Joseph explained to me in detail what's going on with my unit and recommended me to check my insulation and duct work and he called a electrician to fix a broken circuit breaker, promising to have them come ASAP. After a misunderstanding with home insurance he found the part and came back out and replaced the part. Been without air for two days at the start of triple digits here. I have had the distinct pleasure of knowing Joseph who is now the principal of JT Temperature since before the inception his company. Obviously, I was more than impressed with his service and abilities as a technician so I was excited to learn that he was forming his own independent company. I made the conscious decision to stay with him and his services for my heating & air conditioning needs. While I doubted it, I figured if his service became less than earlier demonstrated, I could always seek another company. However, since my relocation to Las Vegas in 2011, I've encountered many and various service providers in the field of home maintenance and its needs. The most frustrating thing is that each time I would call one company, I would have a different technician/service person come to the home. I mean no disrespect to the individuals, but it often ends up being MORE work for me each time another "face" shows up. Furthermore, while the service is satisfactory, it's often a rather impersonal experience which left me (and no pun intended) cold. Since I decided to become and remain a client of Joseph and JT Temperature, I know that I have not made an error with my decision. Joseph continues to remain professional, timely, efficient, and very courteous. Also, the fees for his services are reasonable. With him, I know I'm getting a known and proven entity. I know I shall receive courteous and excellent (not just satisfactory) service. And to me that's the operative word - "service." In this era of being in a hurry, only getting satisfactory service for the job done while charging perhaps more than what is reasonable, it is indeed refreshing to have a "service provider" that takes pride in his service who treats the customer as he or she would desire to be treated - with respect. That seems to be becoming more rare than normal these days. I rarely take the time to write a bad review because I understand how important the service industry is, but this is an exception. I had purchased a Home Warranty from Old Republic and when I called because my AC wasn't cooling, this is who they sent to our home. They came 3 days later to check it out. They told me they would have to come back to fix it in another 3 days, this is during a heat wave with my 82 year old mother visiting with serious medical conditions, she has had to stay elsewhere for the last 3 days. They showed up today, emptied the Freon, then said they can't fix it and it would be another 5 days. Meanwhile my house hit 100 degrees, all my candles melted and we are miserable. I called another company, they are able to put in a new unit tomorrow so now we are on hold again to get authorization from Old Republic. They should have put the Freon back in the unit so we could at least get the house down to 72. I had to give them 1 star but I think it's more than they deserve. We are in our 60's and they had total attitudes towards us and were rude. We think they left it like this on purpose after having conversations with other AC companies. Luckily I have friends who offered their home for my mom, although I would have liked her to stay with us. I would never recommend them. read more

We moved here in May and have various plumbing issues. Our warranty company keeps sending out horrible, mediocre or criminal companies. They sent one out recently who said we had a slab leak without even checking and said it would cost over $3,000 to fix. I made the warranty company send another plumber and they sent JT Temperature. We are so happy! They did such a thorough checking to see what our problems were. Found out we do not have a slap leak at all - that a previous plumber for another problem had created our problem and they have a fix for that which is minimal cost to us. Zack, Luis and Joseph all were here in case they needed to do that big job and were all so nice, respectful, helpful, wore their masks at all times, explained things in detail to make sure we understood and even pointed out some other things for us to be aware of.
