They also had wifi, tv, and everything you need!! They have a cute loft on top for the kiddos and my son absolutely loved it! They have a a dog potty area, tennis/pickle ball court, playground, pool, hot tub, splash pad area (it was not on when we were there) fire pit, an arcade area, shuffle board, pool table, and a reading area. Definitely was a great fun stay! I love that they are pet friendly as well! They also have good eatery nearby as well!

The bunk beds squeak and the ladder rattles whenever a person is on them. One turnover at night and everyone wakes up to the rattles. The door is cracked and see thru light. Most of the 8 wagons doors are cracked. The people right next door were long term there. I have been to many RV resorts and not one had full time people living there. Met some residents there that have been living there over 2 years. A group of kids (teenager and preteens) arrived in the bathrooms for showers and took 3/4 and the floors were flooded after. Drains working but the kids were wild and noisy while in shower. No reason floors flooded by toilets and sink. I was doing laundry. Dogs taken into laundry room with sign that says no dogs allowed except service dogs. These dogs were not trained service dogs. The day before checkout, The next door neighbors were dropping F bombs every few words and the adults seem to be arguing with 2 young children, 1 an infant, were crying while adults yelling. The pool water was cloudy and the tile on the pool was filthy. The splash pad was so calcified and other minerals that the yellow, red colors were white looking. Looks like maintenance is lacking there a lot. Campers don't follow rules and no one is there to enforce. We left a day early because of the language going on and neighbors. Upon check out reported this to the person at checkout. She stated they have had some issues with the people, yet they are still there. Could be a great place, but needs cleaned up and campers need to be removed if can't follow rules. That comes from management. I would not go back.

It's a nice place to park and relax without screaming kids and rowdy groups. We enjoyed our time there even though I fractured my wrist the first night. Thanks to the staff I was able to get to Urgent care without having to unhook our camper. We will remember to bring along a second vehicle next time. Why is it the best? Pride. The park is beautifully maintained, it is clean and landscaping is really attractive with blooms and birds. Staff is attentive, professional and friendly. Sergio, the manager does a great job and is very helpful. Facilities are clean and all amenities work and are well maintained (think laundry room). The heated pool and jacuzzi is great with sparkling water. Watching the sunset from the jacuzzi is a highlight. Workout rooms are well appointed. We have amazing neighbors and a great view of the desert. Road Runners run by our site. The park is safe and well lit. Roads are in good shape. Propane is available on site. The office has a small store with yummy treats and other convenient items. I am so glad we found Distant Drums RV Resort and give thanks to all who work to make it great!

So if you are looking for the campground experience with fellow vacationeers, this isn't the place. Trailer Park would be a more apt description. Park was tidy and restrooms were clean but the WiFi was non-existent at our site. Our site, D4 was a narrow strip of gravel and the rear of our trailer was 2 feet from the rear of the trailer behind us. Not much value for $170 bucks (included tax) for 2 nights.

Full service sites. Three nice bathroom/shower combo's although one was out of service while I was there. For size of park, not enough bathrooms. Lines each morning. Nice people in front office, dumpsters conveniently located. Nice little dog park with some turf and a bit of shade. Poop bag dispensers and waste cans conveniently placed. Ground was clean. Everyone I met at dog park was friendly and picked up after their dogs. Facility also has a. Umber of tiny homes for rent on property. Laundry, $10 a load wash/dry. Dog run, dirt all the way, basic, muddy dog prints embedded in the dry dirt. Mail sent here? pay a handling fee. Potholes .... you get the idea. Not the only game in town - Cottonwood area.
