After calling around town, Ian at Butler Service Center let me know they could look at it the next day and even walked me through where to do an overnight drop-off for my vehicle. I dropped my car off after hours and got a diagnosis by 10:30 the next morning- confirming the alternator issues - and stated the repairs would be completed by end of day, and for $400. I'd been expecting $1,000 with labor in this economy, so I was over the moon. When I'd dropped my car off, I noticed they do inspections so I asked if I could send a copy of my insurance for them to inspect, they said of course, and had my new inspection sticker ready on my repaired car at pickup by 1:30. Ian received us at pickup and told us a bit about his background, nearly three decades of experience and knowledge and very personable. He even identified slight wear on one of our tires and rotated them on the house. This entire process was sensationally smooth and surprisingly stellar. Not sure if I got the New Customer Special or what, but my experience with them could not have gone better.

Ran down the road to Butler Service Center, they quickly cleared the light for me, wouldn't take any money. So can't testify to their repair skills, but they were very nice and treated me kindly in a momentary crisis.

They put…read morethe resonator on did a good job and got the resonator fairly cheap but the next time I took it to a shop when they put it up on the stand they saw that my catalytic converter was gone and a straight pipe had been put in its place. The shop was the only place I had taken it to since I bought it off the lot, when it had a catalytic converter. Since it had been months since I had taken my vehicle here I couldn't report it to the district attorneys office for theft but I wanted to let everybody know be very careful taking your vehicle to the shop because they stole my catalytic converter.

I tell her that's BS and to take it to a tire shop...which she does and they plug the small leak...sure it was closer to the edge of the tire but said it wasn't a big deal...total cost, $10! Is it any wonder that women are hesitant or anxious to take their vehicles for service themselves when there are VULTURES like this just waiting to take advantage of them?!?!
