The individual did not remove and wear a new pair.. no, just kept on going as if nothing happened. Lastly, someone went from being on their phone to packing orders. These little details matter. I definitely won't return after my last visit for the reasons above, including the following: I ordered a very specific item and was told the wait time is 5 minutes. Made no sense and I asked is it going to be fresh? The person at the counter who was super unfriendly barely responded. I went home and noticed the tempura in my roll wasn't fresh. The roll was sliced so thin it was falling apart. Threw it in the oven on high heat before eating. Their prices don't make sense. Quality is poor and I'm being generous by giving them 3 stars.

We have a party 12, it's hard to get reservations for that large of a party on such short notice especially for a small restaurant like Hub Sushi. However every time we call they were able to set a table aside for us no issues. This time around was no exception. We do eat a bit earlier at 5 pm so there was plenty of seating. We arrived early and received our table. I check in on Yelp and was pleasantly surprised to get a 20% coupon discount on a special roll. I proceeded with to ask the server what rolls the discount applies to in the menu. The server said they have a new owner and not able to honour the discount. That's how I found out it was under new management. They do have a VIP service where you register online and they give you a free order of fried gyoza or edamame for each visit which they did honour. Thank goodness! However they no longer serve with ponzu sauce. The gyoza was served with the his sweet and sour sauce. Service was terrible. But the server said they can't cancel it and will remake the rolls with no hair.
