    Donuts

The donuts were very delicious. Quality ingredients and very authentic. Perfect for the holidays. The problem I encountered was the service. I stood at counter with two people staring at me for 10 minutes. No one acknowledged my presence or offered to help. I felt very unwanted and my business wasn't important.

    Bureka Sandwich, yum!

Krembo is a new glatt kosher dairy restaurant. Situated very conveniently in the middle of all the Sandlake madness, it's not too hard to reach for anyone traveling to the theme-park areas. What I love about this place is the freshness of their ingredients and the meticulous cleanliness of the entire establishment. I got the bureka sandwich, which consists of a bureka (filo dough baked with cheese) with veggies and hard boiled eggs inside. The sabich version includes eggplant and tzatziki sauce. I LOVED the sandwich- it really hit the spot. I also tried their chocolate rugelach which was divine. Looking around the place everyone seemed to be happy and satisfied with their meals. Even if you don't need to keep kosher, this is an excellent place to come for a sandwich, salad and/or coffee drink!

    Krembo counter and Hanukkah donuts

When I think 'kosher bakery' the last place on my mind is Orlando Florida but I'm so glad I went to check out Krembo cause this place rocks. Lovely people, quaint space, great food. Had the shakshuka, bureka sandwich and an Israeli bagel -- all delicious, straight forward great meals. There's a ton of great looking things on the menu in general, like their full breakfast spread and the ziva burekas (latter of which they had sold out of when we were there so oh well I guess I'll have to come back next time I'm in town). Plus we showed up just before Hanukkah started so there were donuts aplenty! We opted for the Dulce de Leche donut and it did not disappoint. Hooray for Krembo!

    Mushroom filled pastry

First of all, it is the only kosher restaurant in Orlando. I went in while my husband was having some test done and wanted to just check it out. I walked in, saw a case full of pastries that had my name on it. I've only tried the mushroom pastry which was so nostalgic, but I have several others to try as well. Their salads looked amazing. They have a variety of sandwiches and breakfast combinations, including their own homemade Israeli bagel that they put in a Panini press. I wish they were closer to Winter Park because it was such mouth, happy food. I look forward to being on that side of town again and getting a salad at some point. Lovely owners. Nice and simple interior. The pastries are made with some thing like a puff pastry but it's not a puff pastry. They also have cupcakes, roll cakes and other sweets including awesome rugalach. I had stopped in and picked up two mushroom pastries called Borekas. We ate them in the car after I picked up my hubby. They were so good we went back and picket up 6 more to put in our freezer. Ironically it's right next to Dunkin' Donuts. The name Krembo is the name of a popular Israeli desert that is chocolate covered with marshmallows. Somewhat similar to Malamars.

The candied pecans gave it a contrasting sugared crunch making it really addicting to eat, and the candied oranges rounded out the flavors. I hope they'll keep bringing this cookie back!

I didn't realize that before ordering, so that definitely explains part of why this wasn't for me. Red velvet is usually my birthday cake, so I've tried it from quite a few places over the years. I personally prefer a softer, fluffy cake with a noticeable cocoa flavor and a tangy cream cheese frosting. Gideon's version was very different from that. The color was much more intensely red than I personally like, and I felt like I could taste the coloring. The texture of my slice also felt more wet/dense than moist and fluffy. There was plenty of frosting, but the cream cheese flavor was much more subtle than I prefer. I know this cake has a lot of fans, so I think this really comes down to style and personal preference. My friend ordered the taro ube milk tea, which was equally enjoyable. I liked it so much that I brought my little sister back the very next day. This time, we ordered another white chocolate matcha cheesecake along with the mango golden cake, and both were excellent. I also noticed that the atmosphere varied slightly depending on the time of day. Around lunchtime, it was quieter, while the evening was a bit busier, but never overwhelmingly crowded. The overall vibe was calm, relaxing, and inviting. One feature I really appreciated was the charging ports built into the high-top seating area, making it a great spot for studying, working, or simply enjoying a dessert and drink. Overall, KORI is a cozy spot with delicious desserts, great drinks, and a comfortable atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

Bright, clean, and dialed in with pastries that actually look as good as they photograph. You walk in thinking you'll make a quick, responsible choice. Two minutes later you're staring at the case like you're drafting a fantasy team. We went with the cream puff and that was the right move. Light, airy, not overly sweet, and gone in about three bites flat. No notes. Tried the crème brûlée pastry too. Points for creativity all day. It's a cool concept and well executed, just didn't hit the same level as the cream puff. Still good, just not the headliner. And the iced tea deserves a mention. Strong. Like, actually strong. Not the watered-down afterthought you get at most spots. This one shows up with purpose. Overall, easy four stars. Fun stop, great vibe, and a menu that keeps things interesting without trying too hard. Just don't kid yourself into thinking you're only ordering one thing. That plan falls apart immediately.
