Krilakis is the BOMB! We first discovered this place when it started out in Byram, MS, but we are still loyal Krilakis fans even after the move to Ridgeland. The food is PHENOMENAL. My husband and I went here for lunch today since it is incredibly close to his office. There was plenty of room inside. (I think we were at the end of the lunch crowd.) We both ordered combos, filled our drinks and picked a table. Our food came out fast, and there was a lot of it! My grilled chicken gyro was great, and I love the sauce! My husband had the lamb, and it was really good too! Next time we go, we may only get gyros, because they are so filling by themselves. The gyros are good, but I am Chicago native and knows what a gyros should taste and look. Where I'm from the lamb not chopped into small pieces. you get full whole slices of lamb. I have had days when the lamb here was good however the last two times I visited it was to oily and to much sauce. If you want gyros sandwich or platewith whole slices of lamb and not to oily and tasty and cooked fresh, I would recommend Fat albert on Beasley rd in Jackson, ms. .. you can get gyros sandwich, french fries and drink for 6.59! Excellent tasting gyros in Ridgeland, and the fries are fantastic. The gyros are a pretty greasy. The Greek salad is also a great choice; even though it came out on styrofoam plate. Self serve drink machine and tvs are nice. They have an all day $10 special for gyro, fries, and a drink. read more

My daughter recently started working near here. I was visiting her and yelped to see the restaurants in the area. Krilakis came up and thank you yelp. First, the hummus is very, very good. Next, the burgers are as described in the other reviews. Worth the wait and among the best in Metro. The gyro meat is very good whether on a salad or in a pita. Friendly staff. Best gyro I've ever had! I've never had lamb this tender. I went with a group for a mid-week lunch and everyone was very happy with their meals. I had a small greek salad and an original gyro. The table also shared hummus/pita, fries, and baklava (we were hungry!). Everything was amazing, except the hummus was a bit dry. Service was friendly and although it was busy the food came out quick. They have a nice menu with salads, burgers, appetizers, and a large selection of gyros from traditional lamb to chicken, pork, etc. Toppings, pita bread, meat was all very fresh, very flavorful. The restaurant is clean with plenty of seating indoors and a small, shaded patio outside. This has to be the best Greek food I've ever had, and I travel a lot! Krilakis is one of the better gyros I've had. The one downfall, and this is strictly personal, is that there is SO MUCH FOOD in such a tiny foil package that it's hard to handle the gyro gracefully. Every bite will leave your face covered in tzatziki sauce. Their pita melt is also a good choice for an appetizer. It's loaded with ooey gooey feta and mozzarella cheese. Really, everything I have had is good. The staff is always friendly and the food always comes quickly. They have a nice outdoor seating section that is shaded (which is a huge deal in this Mississippi heat!) and plenty of space inside as well. If you find yourself this particular area of Ridgeland, definitely give Krilakis a shot. read more

Wasn't impressed. Sorry but the Gyros were OK but I expected more for a 5 star rated place. Went there for lunch and there was not a crowd, only about 3 other tables. Food was fast and service was good but nothing spectacular. The fries were limp and undercooked and the Gyro was runny. I don't know maybe I caught them on an off day. I felt the gyro was rather flat tasting and didn't have anything really good going on. It wasn't bad at all but it wasn't the best either. I may go back but I am going to explore other options first. read more

This is our favorite stop on the way to the beach every year.... and every other excuse we can find to head East from Louisiana! The gyros are 100% authentic and amazing. The burgers are the best money can buy. And the Pita Melt is the best way you can possibly kick off a meal. I know you can bring your own beer/wine at no extra charge too. You walk in, place your order at the counter, and find a table to enjoy one of the best Greek meals of your life. They are super quick and excellent if you are stopping by for lunch or on a trip. If you decide to go in for dinner it is a lovely little spot and would work great for both a casual date night or taking kids to eat. They also have excellent baklava which is a sweet Greek dessert. Great Gyro sandwich! Only thing that would have made it five stars for me is if they had pepperocini's included on the sandwich. To my way of thinking a Gyro isn't a gyro without pepperocinis and feta cheese. Those are extra. Huge portions though! Loved the homemade french fries. And I especially appreciated that they came out HOT. So many places you have fries and they just are cold as a stone by the time you get them. Where to start? I started eating here with my husband that loves gyros. I was never really a fan of gyros, so I always got the burger. Best burger ever.
