I want to start my review off by saying I've been eating here since I was a little girl, and unfortunately this will be my last time here. Yesterday afternoon I placed an order for two pizzas for pickup. After receiving them & making it home, I noticed one of the pizzas was made absolutely wrong and looked extremely disgusting (pictured below). I then called back to express my concern with my order and to find a solution, but the manager and owner, DAN/DANIEL/DANNY KRIMMPER, was EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful towards me. When we first got on the phone, he was hostile, which I couldn't understand but didn't take offense to; however, he was just extremely disrespectful & rude to me the entire conversation. He offered no support, assistance, or empathy towards HIS business giving BAD food. He actually told me since I didn't like it and the pizza was so bad, I should just never come back (and by his request, I will not). He was so nasty to me; I was so overwhelmed and upset. I reached out to the Silverton location to see if I could speak with another owner/manager about this situation, so this morning I called Silverton to speak with Steve Krimmper, and he was also rude. He brushed off my concerns, told me there was nothing he could do for me, said he didn't know what I was expecting to be done, and couldn't speak to whether Dan was rude (even after I told him about several others saying he was rude as well). He even went as far as telling me "I know about the bad reviews but I take all online reviews with a grain of salt". I really like Krimmer's on Galbraith. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Sure sometimes things happen as with any restaurant but we've only experienced minor issues and they are few and far between. The food is always tasty and fresh. Stopped in after being in the sun all day. Hot, thirsty, hungry, and a little burnt. Ordered a pizza to go and a tossed salad while waiting. They have two versions, one with bacon or ham. The server recommended the bacon. It was a very tasty salad even though it was basically iceberg with some assorted leaf and carrots. It had shredded mozzarella too, but The bacon was real and warm as in better than I expected. Can't wait to try the pizza. The sheer Disrespect for customers from Danny boy is what will ruin this wonderful place. I like to relax and eat good food, this is why I cook my own meals often. At times I get lazy and want to order food. I had it delivered so I understand that something happened in the time that my pizza came from the oven to my door. I hadn't had Italianette in a while and I was excited to eat "Good Food". Turns out there was a problem with my order (it happens)-- the problem came from when I simply wanted an apology for the quality of food I received... that was apparently too much to ask for... so Instead of the $50 I already paid for the horrible meal (that never got ate) I then had to go to Kroger and make my own pizza.. another $30.. $80 out of my pocket in this economy definitely sucked. Thank goodness I had the extra funds. The food gets 4 stars cause it's pretty good.. Yes, sausage, bacon, pepperoni are inherently salty but this was next level salty...make my mouth burn salty. Ate a piece a bacon and found it was the culprit...so salty....have they changed the bacon? Got the daintiest knock on my door...barely heard it when delivery came. You don't have to pound down the door but POUND HARDER! Also, irritated by a fee you are not told about...a "technology fee" which I assume is for a credit card since cash fee on receipt was less. I decided to give Krimmers a try yesterday and I was a little worried when it took a few minutes for us to be waited on but after that excellent service! It appeared to be only one waitress working that day but she went above and beyond. She brought out a plate of cheese for my one year old daughter so she could enjoy some food too which blew me away. Impressed on my second visit. I had initially tried Krimmer's a year or so ago and was unimpressed with their pasta and sauce. Cincinnati Italian frequently misses the mark. About a week ago I had intended to go to another restaurant, but that restaurant had greatly reduced their hours to the point where they weren't even open at dinner time. Thankfully, Krimmer's was able to accommodate my family at dinner time (around 6PM). Knowing I wasn't a fan of their pasta, I tried the steak hoagie and potato wedges instead. Both were a hit. Another family member got the Deluxe 7 pizza. This also was a hit. Now I know, pizza and sandwiches are Krimmer's strong spot. I was little worried that they wouldn't get our large order correct, but it was perfect. When I came into the store they were friendly, greeted me, and let me know the status of my order. The BLT pizza was really good. I wish the pepperoni pizza had more pepperoni, def get extra. Service wasn't the best. They have a sign that says don't come to the counter on your phone, but the people at the register were on their phones the whole time i was there. I ordered a medium 3 piece, mushroom pepperoni and olives. The pizza topping by were extremely stingy, felt bad when I opened the pizza box. The pizza looked sad. I also ordered hot wings and the delivery driver called me midway to inform me they sent bbq wings. I asked him to get the hot wings please. He agreed and my food eventually came. The wings showered were completely burnt. And the hot sauce was only put one one side. Looked extremely sloppy and they base on the chicken wing was sweet which I found disgusting. Krimmer's is simply delicious!!! The cheese is what gets me every time. The cheese they use is fresh and so satisfying, tips it over the edge. The toppings are quality, I love that they use strips of bacon cut into smaller pieces. The sauce is just right, very hard to describe. The wings were just average, nothing special. Okay. I took awhile to try this place. I previously tried to order a pizza and was disappointed that they don't do substitutions. But my aunt orders from here once a week. So I gave it a try and the pizza was delicious. I like a nice crust and a tangy sauce...Reminds me of one of my favorite pizza spots in Clifton. I tried the wings as well. I went to Krimmer's Italianette and was pleasantly surprised on my first visit. We were greeted by a friendly waitress who informed us that the owners grandmother makes the pizza sauce fresh daily. We ordered a side salad which included bacon, lettuce tomatoes, red and black olives, green peppers and a generous portion of fresh mozzarella cheese. We ordered the large pepperoni and banana Peppers pizza. It was served piping hot with a ton of cheese. The crust was the perfect crispness , I must say the sauce was the best pizza sauce I have had in a long time. I am glad I was invited to try this restaurant. This was our first time in. We were headed to Good Fellas in Pleasant Ridge but I am disabled and they had no close parking spots. So we left. I'm glad we stopped here, it was amazing!
