They did refund the farm call charge but only after I complained, and it ended up being a wasted visit as I'd never have scheduled it if I'd l known they wouldn't float her teeth at that time. The final straw is a letter they sent to their clients today and also posted on their FB page that essentially states they have expanded beyond what they can safely handle with their current number of vets and will now prioritize and provide care based on completely non-medical factors such as whether you own a trailer or whether you're a regular source of income for them -- sorry, I mean "existing client". Basically, blackmailing people to spend more money there so you have better chances of getting emergency care for your animal. They're now making their poor business choices our (and our horse's) problem rather than making the simple and obvious choice to hire more vets when you have more clients. I expressed my concern about the policy change and the fact that they don't appear to be hiring more veterinarians (and I was far more polite and restrained than I'm being here) and rather than addressing my concerns professionally, my comment was deleted and I was blocked from their FB page. So, they're now getting a different solution to their problem -- we will no longer do business with Nebraska Equine and will encourage others to find a vet who actually has animal care as their top priority instead of money and convenience. Maybe losing some clients will help relieve NE's evidently overworked vets.

I went in for the 8 lesson Reactive Dog lessons. He mastered basic commands (still don't trust him…read moreoff leash). But he is struggling with the Reactivity. They do give you tools to overcome this. But I do feel 3 out of the 8 lessons focusing specifically on Reactivity isn't enough.(especially during winter when you can't get out as much) I did learn tips and tricks that will help with other dogs in my life also. It's about teaching the owner as well as teaching the dog. Does it work? Yes. But If you wanna nip the Reactivity in the butt. Board and train might be the better option. All staff was knowledgeable and each that I saw had subtly different techniques while sticking to the basic information. They are all super friendly and understanding as well as willing to help.
