I reached out to Kris Lindahl and the whole plethora of other We Buy Your House for cash as I had a self serving realtor and my condo listing had no traffic. Feeling defeated I thought I would test these waters. Everyone came back the same: sight unseen... $100,000. No way. Brett was the only person to come out and actually see my home, he then offered $107,000. Still too low to even consider. Brett did offer to have an agent from his office reach out. Kelly Taucher reached out... I'm not sure what it was.. her tone? Her optimism? Just speaking to someone who sounded interested in helping me sell? Whatever it was? I felt this...relief? Confidence? wash over me. I felt like she meant what she said and she could get my property sold! Then there was: I live about 18 miles away but I still drive over to the condo once a week or every ten days to run the water and flush the toilets. Without even asking her, Kelly said: I'm only a few miles away I can save you a trip and do that for you. Thank you! Once Kelly saw the condo, she suggested taking down the window treatments. I replied I had confidence in her thoughts so, she could go ahead. I also heeded her advice when she suggested I pay to have the condo staged; so it looked more welcoming, helped buyers imagine living here. Kelly was always helpful and never told me no when I had a petty(?) request. Such as: swing by the condo after a showing to turn off lights as all agents tend to leave some on. Kelly was also ahead of the curve thinking before listing she came through w a swiffer to tidy up the dusty floors, as I had moved out months before. Kelly was helpful from our inaugural meeting. We discussed listing price; how long we would let that price ride before dropping it and the next drop amount would be? I appreciated Kelly's confidence and effort in wanting to make sure the property sold. As I told Kelly when I handed over the keys at closing. Thank you! I had confidence in you but I didn't have confidence the condo would sell. A million times THANK YOU. After nearly seven months on the market I had started to lose hope this day would come!! I told Kelly this process was so traumatic I don't ever want to move again but should I? I will definitely be reaching out to her. It's big scam all the way around you say will give this much. Then later it drops to another price then they come back with another price. Then when you jump through all the hoops they want money they already paid you back because supposedly there was a lean on the property. When clearly I paid up to almost $10000.00 and they said everything was good through my mortgage company so clearly someone lied to me and that later know longer exist and went into another mortgage company. Without even telling there was a lean on my property how come it never showed up when I bought my truck when I took out other loans. But now it shows up when I go to sell my house to you. It's a f--king joke. The mortgage company said everything was up to dated when I borrowed close to $10,000.00 to make it good. And Kris Lindahl says there's a lean on my property I would like to know we're the almost $10000.00 dollars went. That's why you can buy and sell you rip people off I should have went with a regular realtor. I bearly made any money off my house at all. My house is not for sale. Kris Lindahl's company has sent me 5 offers over the last 18 months, each offer less than 50 % of the market value. I have called them twice to stop, and again a third time by phone and US Mail. I guess it would be okay for people who really have to sell. I, however, am irritated by this. I am so disappointed that I agreed to the guaranteed offer. First of all Opendoor who took the contract for my house is absolutely terrible. my house was in really good shape except for a couple of minor details and they didn't even fix it, right. I have felt a lot of pressure to buy the place I am in. I wish I could go back and do everything over again and it's only been a year since I acquired this place. read more

The guaranteed offer program is a scam, do not waste your time. Their initial offer for our home was 345k. The team called and said they needed to do an exterior inspection (there are no issues with the exterior of the home). After this inspection was completed the Kris Lindahl team stated we would need to pay them 6k to take our home. This experience was a massive waste of time and very disappointing. read more

In my one encounter, they did not come off as very sharp. I called to get a walk through one of the properties they have listed. One of their agents, Anna, texted me and said there was no 'showing time for this evening'. I expressed surprise as the house was cleared of all furniture and personal items. A few texts go back and forth and she admits it is her schedule, not the house's ,that is full this evening. She said she would find an agent that was available to walk me through the house. Then told me an offer was already placed on the house. Ummm: should that not have been the first thing she looked for concerning the property and not waited until 7 texts went back and forth to find this out? read more

We were sent an email confirmation and spoke to an agent to confirm our appointment. We waited for 15 minutes. Could not get a hold of anyone at the agency. Called the organize, the main line, the realtor. Finally the organizer, Ashley Roy writes back, "sorry we couldn't figure this one out, not sure what happened." We tried to call her, she would not pick up. Finally got a hold of someone on the main line and though she promised to find out what was going on and call back, she just never called us back. I called to check out this "Guaranteed Offer" program. Set up an appointment for one of their realtors to come out, check out my home, and talk about the program. Hours later they called back to reschedule. Fine I guess, but the scheduler set up the appointment with a realtor that was already out of town that day. So that was odd. Then 30 minutes before our new appointment, the realtor emails me to cancel. Emails???? She has my phone number. She could have texted me. But nope, emailed. So I sat there waiting for her for like 40 minutes wondering where she was, because I don't check my emails every 5 minutes. So I wrote the scheduler an email the next morning to tell them I would still be open to meeting a realtor, but I don't want to deal with this realtor. I have been ghosted. Haven't heard from them in 2 days. I guess I don't qualify for the guaranteed offer. read more

Found a Zillow/Kris Lindahl owned house that we fell in love with. Worked to fill out all of the required paperwork and put in an offer! They came back via email and indicated they don't accept offers with contingencies, even though that wasn't listed as a requirement. So, we find a buyer and have our house under contract and re-offer. They only came down 3 thousand dollars even though the listing has been up for months and refuse to call back so we can ask questions. Don't buy from these jokers! Unless you want to be trapped in an email text loop and never get a human. They even forced us to use their title company, which is generally not allowed and huge conflict of interest. We unfortunately went through the inspection process since they indicated and shared a list of items that can be addressed during the inspection phase. We learned through sheer luck of hiring the same company that work had been done on the house (by the Kris Lindahl/Zillow team) that they never disclosed to us. There ended up being lots of damage and issues with the house, most things we were even willing to live with and deal with on our own time and dollar. We had a list of life safety items that we countered Kris Lindahl with, he wasn't even willing to address items including unsafe outlets, improperly grounded electrical all over the house, mold, and other fire hazards. We understand cosmetic and aging items aren't within their scope but when we were unable to get a reasonable response on safety hazards and we unfortunately had to walk away. BUYER BEWARE! If you look at any of his properties be prepared to pay full asking and fix any problems the house has even if it puts your family's health and safety at risk. Every step working with both Kris Lindahl and Zillow was an absolute nightmare. They treat their potential customers horribly, don't disclose valuable information, force their own companies on you, and don't value your time or safety, if I could give a lower rating I would. read more

Horrible experience as a 1st time home buyer. Kris Lindahl team matched me with Lisa Olien after I sent in a request on their website. She was not helpful on figuring out anything about the seller, the home quality, or the value of the homes. Bad communication. Especially when trying to make offers. I do not recommend as a buyer. read more

STAY AWAY!!!! It's kind of creepy when you go online and fill out the paperwork to start the process and suddenly you receive a video on your phone from some team member talking to you about how you will be contacted shortly by some other team member. "Guaranteed Offer" is a JOKE. Anyone who sells himself and his "team" as reputable real estate agents - yet leaves out the fact that he is associated with Zillow - is starting the whole process in a dishonest way. Agent came to our elderly Aunt's house to give her a guaranteed offer. Two days later we were told her house did not "fit Zillow's profile". No offer was made. Met with a competing guaranteed offer company Homestead Row and received an offer $20k above what our elderly Aunt was looking for. She can literally take what she wants and leave what she doesn't. Everything will be taken care of with no additional costs. Trust me, stay away from Kris Lindahl and the scam of it all. read more
