Worst managed and staffed Krispy Kreme I've ever been in. Staff is rude and simply don't care. Donuts are not to standards you would ever expect from Krispy Kreme. Just unacceptable!

I'd sworn off Krispy Kreme after eating way too many original glazed doughnuts back in the day but found myself at a KK recently. Oh well, when in Rome. This location of the North Carolina chain is just a little over a month old, and due to being right in front of the mall, has ample parking. You walk in and immediately see the donut assembly line behind a clear window, glaze waterfall and all. I was warmly greeted by a young woman who was very eager to help me. She even offered up some recommendations of her faves in the case. I ended with with a yeasty cinnamon twist and a cakey glazed sour cream that were swiftly served to me ($2.38 including tax). Both were fresh and sweet and went down all too easy. Oh donuts. They always taste good going down but just result in sugary regret later due to the lack of substance/sustenance. Tip: do not go to a Krispy Kreme when very hungry. There is a drive-thru in addition to the dining room. There are several tables and chairs, along with a small sofa. Even patio seating. Krispy Kreme is a family fave, with loads of little ones wearing the paper hats and gazing at the assembly line, transfixed. Cheap, sweet, and friendly. Can't complain.

    Free "Appreciation" doughnut ‍

I don't have a problem with KK normally, but if you're going to do an "appreciation" day and give free doughnuts, please make sure they don't look like they were cooked the previous week and you pulled them out of the fridge just to clean it out. The doughnut in the photos is what I received as the free one. I ordered a 3 pack when I picked up the free one. The hot light was on and the ones I paid for were light, airy, and warm. I'm guessing they are bagging and banking the free ones. Should have checked before driving off. Glad I didn't get the free coffee as it may have been brewed a couple days before. In any case, I threw that disgusting "token of appreciation" in the trash were it belonged. I guess you do get what you pay for.

Lobby is always locked. Drive thru severely slow. No since of regency. People pull out of line. The donuts I got were old and hard.

I suggest going somewhere else. No since of urgency. Lobby always closed. I have tried several time to get some for clients. The line takes forever and what I got today was old reheated donuts. The frosting almost nonexistent because it melted off. They tasted stale.

    Day old glazed donut

We went tonight while their hot light was on, ordered three blueberry cake donuts, three original glazed donuts, three raspberry filled, and three creme filled donuts, along with a caramel mocha frappé. They gave us the raspberry donuts, the glazed, and five creme filled. We had to ask for the blueberry cake donuts. The coffee was burned. The glazed donuts they gave us looked, felt, and tasted old.

Tell me this doesn't make your mouth water...

No, this coffee? It's like a hug for your soul wrapped in a cup. From the first sip, I knew I was in for something special. The flavor hit with that perfect balance of boldness and smoothness--like Jarrod had a secret handshake with the beans themselves. The roast? *Chef's kiss*. Deep, rich, and complex with just the right amount of sweetness, this coffee tastes like it was crafted with the care of a seasoned barista who knows that a cup of coffee is more than a morning ritual--it's an experience. Every sip was silky and luxurious, and I honestly felt like I was siping a beautiful dream as I stood atop the mountains of Columbia. Ross House doesn't just make coffee--they craft an experience. The atmosphere? Warm and inviting with just the right touch of quirky. It's the kind of place that makes you want to slow down, savor every moment, and just be. So, if you're a coffee lover, drop everything and get yourself to Ross House . In town for graduation & chose Ross House after another place was way too busy. So cute here!! But…read moreafter 15 minutes of ordering & only my sis/BIL oatmeal bowls came out, another 10+ minutes for their coffees to come out & my hubby's sausage biscuit & lemonade, I still had to wait nearly 10 more minutes for my latte & cinnamon roll. My sis/BIL loved their oatmeal bowls. My hubby's sausage biscuit was ok but the sausage had def been juiced so it was hard & my cinnamon roll was a little dry. So it took 4 trips from inside to bring us our orders. I guess that could be why the other place was super busy & Ross House isn't.
