Who doesn't like doughnuts? I love them and I typically try to stay away because they are just bad for any diet I'm on. But a friend gave me a certificate to redeem a dozen and I used it. I was in the mood for about two, so I made sure to bring them to work with me so that some others could participate in the sugar fest. They were great. It fulfilled my sugar craving right away and I probably won't have a doughnut for the next year or so. While I love them, I'm more of a chocolate fan. The staff is nice and the establishment is run efficiently. I used the drive -thru so it took less than 5 minutes to order and receive the dozen. read more

The young female that helped me was just rude from the beginning. Before even speaking, the look on her face told me she was not going to be pleasant. Even my 13 year old daughter commented on her rudeness after we left. Half the labels for the donuts in the case were wrong, yet she seemed annoyed with me when I changed my mind after finding out it wasn't what it was labeled as. I enjoy Krispy Kreme as much as is probably humanly possible but can only give it 4 Stars because I try not to give Chains a 5-star rating unless they are truly exceptional. That being said, KK is EXACTLY my favorite incarnation of Doughnuts. They are fried, which is the way they are supposed to be, and exactly how I expect them to be. While HOT NOW is how you want them best, the Original Glazed are delicious in a different way even the next day leftover. I have never had a flavor doughnut there that I did not enjoy. Since they've renovated the building it is a delightful place to walk into and order what you need. Bright, cheerful and the staff is almost always friendly and wonderful. Krispy Kremes are the doughnuts I dream of, and this location makes my dreams come true. read more

In all of the time that I have lived in Augusta I have never seen the "Hot Now" sign turned off. Each time that I've gone, though, I haven't gotten a hot doughnut--leading to why my friends and I refer to this location as the one with the lying sign. A few nights ago, though, we caved on a late night doughnut craving mixed with a coupon for a $5 dozen and drove over (to find the light on, of course) to get some doughnuts. And, for the very first time, some of the doughnuts we received were hot! Amazing! Are they turning over a new leaf with that sign? Maybe. Krispy Kreme will always pull us back. read more

I have been here twice, once in the store and the other drive thru. Both experiences have not been very pleasant. They were out of a lot of doughnuts both times my family and I went. The most disappointing one was them being out of the limited edition Mars doughnut. How could they be out of them if they know in advance they are selling a limited time doughnut? The staff is in "whatever" mode and has no desire to actually be of service in my opinion. Krispy kreme is my favorite doughnut and I love to buy them for my family. I live fairly close to Krispy Kreme and get cravings more than I should. I have personally had great service every time I've come to order (sucks that the other reviews say otherwise). My doughnuts are usually fresh and melt in my mouth (what I expect in these doughnuts)! It seems like they give fresh doughnuts to those who order in store and the ones that have sat a little longer to drive-thru customers, but that could just be my own speculation! On one occasion I ordered a dozen original doughnuts and opened the box to find only 10 but they gladly replaced the entire box and fixed the problem without hesitation! If these babies didn't go straight to my thighs I'd be here more often! read more

As a disclaimer to the reviews I have never had a digestive product from this location and the review is solely based on my experience in the drive through lane. Upon arrival in the lane my vehicle was the 3rd car back and after 13 minutes I was the 2nd car back. I am sorry but this is unacceptable in a fast food market especially when individuals are trying to make it to their scheduled destination on time. This place is understaffed. What should have taken less than 5 minutes took significantly longer. The donuts seemed to be as they should have been, but this is one of the locations where the Hot Now sign is a bit deceiving. They frost the doughnuts freshly when you order them here. This is not however a factory where they make them, and frost them. $7.49 for 1 dozen glazed and $8.49 for 1 dozen assorted. I don't remember these things being so pricey! read more

Not the first here, but the first time not going through the drive thru. Not on this side of town often, but someone had never experienced the Krispy of the Kreme...so Hot Now here we come...they did taste a bit different from the last time, but still good nonetheless. I only do glazed donuts however the newbie could not make up his mind. There are limited time only flavors right now...Nutter butter, Oreo, and Chips ahoy cookie flavors as well as blueberry glazed. Last night we went to this location to order some doughnuts. When we got there most of the lights where off and it looked like the place was closed we pulled in front of the drive thru to check out what they had listed and planned on coming back the next day. Then over the intercom we heard someone mumbling. Surprised, I asked are y'all open?! And the girl with a horrible attitude said yes!?! What do you want. So we ordered our doughnuts and waited at the window to get them. While at the window the workers were being extremely loud with each other and the one giving us our change opened the window to hand the change to us and then proceeded to call the other employee the N word. Luckily my kid wasn't in the car. Like really Krispy Kreme? DO BETTER. Side note.: the doughnuts were great. The customer service was AWFUL. read more

I didn't have a problem at this location. I pulled up to the drive-thru and order a dozen glazed doughnuts. I'm shocked at the price though, $8.09. I remember when a box of doughnuts was $2.75, boy has the times changed!!! The hot doughnut sign was on but it wasn't crowded. I got my doughnuts quickly and was on my way. The employee that took my order was very politely and remembered my order specifications. I will be back to get my fix of doughnuts!!!! read more

I've previously had slow, slow service at this Washington Rd. location, and today took the cake (literally). We placed an order on Thursday for 5 dozen doughnuts, set to pick up 10AM on Saturday. When we arrived to pick up our order, it wasn't there. As far as i can tell, they never even took it down! To add insult to injury, the manager on duty at the time was completely unhelpful, even after I explained that the order we'd placed was intended to be our wedding "cake". She barely made eye contact, and certainly didn't offer any apologies or solutions. I would have been happy to place the order again to pick up in a couple hours. Love the donuts, but the location leaves something to be desired. The store got a makeover a year ago, but they didn't improve service. We often find they have run out of certain donuts, the drive-thru is awkward, we frequently have to repeat the order, and they're slow. read more
