Hours posted on the door stated lobby and drive thru open at 6:00am. I waited patiently outside and was told by the lady employee 5 more minutes. After 5 mins I was then told through the glass only drive thru would be open. You can imagine that I was now completely frustrated, because now people are in the drive thru line and I was the first person there that morning (8/23/22). They opened the drive thru AFTER 6:00am. Check the cameras! Once I ordered and paid and checked my doughnuts before leaving the drive thru and guess what????!!!!! My order was WRONG!!!! My receipt was correct (in the type of doughnuts I ordered). I handed the box of doughnuts back through the window and they took out the wrong doughnuts and replaced them with the correct ones. During these times with COVID, I can't believe they didn't just give me the 8 chocolate iced doughnuts I originally ordered along with the wrong ones in the original box. What an establishment! The store was packed, yet everyone there working was so helpful, and quickly responsive. Wonderful and full selection of doughnuts. For the doughnuts that were being freshly made that we bought, they were given to us right off of the oven. Sam was especially helpful. Krispy Kreme was a staple of my childhood. I remember taking a field trip to one to see how they were made. I wrote a feature story about KK for my college newspaper. To go through life without experiencing the deliciousness that is an original "hot now" Krispy Kreme would be a true shame. They overhauled their coffee a few years ago to better compete with Dunkin Donuts and did a great job with it. I still prefer Dunkin's coffee, but KK's is great when there isn't a DD's around. But I prefer a Krispy Kreme doughnut over anything else. If you have never experienced a Krispy Kreme, this is a "destination point". My only complaint is with the "hot now" neon sign. Don't get me wrong, I love the sign, think its a great idea, BUT it causes wrecks. I nearly rear ended a guy last week because he saw that the hot now sign was on and slammed on his brakes so he wouldn't miss the turn :) read more

Do I love Krispy Kreme? Uh, yeah! Not much tops a warm, freshly made donut (especially after margaritas, but anywaaaaay...). I recently catapulted myself off of the low carb diet so I naturally had to rush to overindulge in some sugar and carbs this morning. Duh. While I don't regret eating said donuts...I have to say that they sure do think highly of themselves. $3.97 for three donuts. Three donuts. THREE donuts. Yikes! Not really sure if they are THAT good. And don't judge me on the three donuts - I earned those things, lol! Other than the sticker shock, of course they were damn good. The guy who was working the window was friendly and gave my dog a couple of donut holes (even though he made the odd joke about not being above kicking small furry dogs. K. Failed to see the humor in that one.). So, do I recommend KK? Sure. It's not like people AREN'T going to go here.
