I have been to this location twice in the last three months. I did not want to rate based on the 1st visit because was certain I caught them on a bad day. Today was the same as before. The first time, I ordered some assorted donuts but received all original glazed. Not a big deal but the price is lower for all original glazed. The person working the window said nothing and just gave me the donuts. Today, I received my order correctly but the same employee was there. She took my debit card and scanned. I think she received a defective Chip message. Her response was $#!+....totally inappropriate. She ran the card again and handed it to me. I've always been team dunkin' donuts but this krispy kreme experience was a-glaze-ing!!! Quick service and nice employees at the drive thru. Had a special offer on a dozen glazed doughnuts, and I was in the area, so I came here. This Krispy Kreme location is in a good visible area. There is lots of available free parking near the building. I took advantage of the free parking and parked near the door. However, when I walked up to the door, I noticed a note stating that they were open but the lobby was closed but the drive thru was open. Uh, ok. I got back into the car and drove to the speaker. I ordered the dozen glazed doughnuts and was told to drive to the window The facemask-wearing employee at the window was welcoming and efficient. The entire process of showing her the special I had on my phone, her running the transaction through and giving me my doughnuts took less than a minute. I even got a Thank You from her before I left. Not one of those enormous locations but they got what you want. They didn't have "hot" ones, so obviously the non-hot donuts aren't as good as the hot ones; still can't go wrong. Wife stopped by the KK with an out of town guest. They literally watched a giant roach make its way across the store inventory the while they were at the drive through. A staff member with a broom saw the roach but apparently took no action to get it. They also wondered why the conveyor system for the doughnuts continued to run and pile up doughnuts with no one paying attention. I wonder why I can't find a health score for this location. Went in to get ten donut holes, but it wasn't until after I paid that the employee realized they only had pre-packaged boxes containing higher quantities of donut holes left. This prompted a second employee, who had been mopping / wiping the floor / touching common areas around the establishment without gloves or anything to come over and help straighten things out. I agreed that taking ten donut holes from one of the pre-packaged boxes would be good with me, but then the pair of employees couldn't find the standard cup container to package my donut holes in and went running around searching for it. Got there on a Sunday shortly before 6am after an early morning airport drop off. Although staff had been moving around inside since we passed by at 4:30am and they turned on the inside lights at 6, the doors were locked even a few minutes after 6am. We go to the drive-thru, we ordered $20 worth of cold donuts (because she says they will be hot at 5, you know, dinner time. That makes sense) and when we get them, they're stale. The location is so sad compared to the one off 92 in Woodstock. I will bounce off Eddy H's review--came for a sweet treat on Election Day (free glazed donut). They were participating. You wait in line since the lobby is closed only for them to be out of regular glazed donuts. And they won't have any more for at least an hour! When does Krispy Kreme not have regular donuts?!
