The first lady to greet me at the counter seemed pretty good. I placed my order at what appeared to be the busiest Starbucks in the world, with what looked like six employees running around. In reality, there were only 2-3 cars in the drive-thru and 3-4 people inside. I pulled in around 8 o'clock and am just now leaving at 8:30. When I placed my order for a regular espresso, I could obviously tell when I picked it up that she had used blonde espresso instead. I asked her if she could please correct it. She basically rolled her eyes and handed it off to another employee, and then I had to go to the back of the line to correct my simple drink. I would understand a little more if this Starbucks were understaffed; however, that was obviously not the case. I've had the same drink for years and understand some people have off days, but I've noticed this Starbucks uses round ice similar to Sonic's. Obviously the shape doesn't matter but the off-putting taste (just like Sonic's) threw off my drink. Not worth even the star in the name. Very disappointed with service. Order one drink and they got it wrong twice and it took them 20 minutes when the store had only three people as customers. I have to give 5 Stars only because Nathaniel and here's why. First we rolled up to the drive thru but then went inside to see what all options they had for some sweets. They were out of SOOO many! Normally I would be irritated at that first world problem but Nathaniel was super smiley and welcoming and was like, "have you ever had our lemon cake, it's life changing, you have to try it". He completely distracted me from being disappointed about the lack of options. Nice job buddy! I like this location because it is not as crowded in the mornings as some of the other locations in Alpharetta. If I'm heading into work and in need of caffeine, I can usually count on this location in providing me what I need with a quick in and out. I don't think this location has a drive-thru, but I can't remember for the life of me. The employees here are friendly. The service is quick. The only thing I dislike is the lack of parking space as this location is at the end of a small strip of stores with not very many parking spaces. This my favorite Starbucks location. It's always clean; the hours are great for me and the service is fast, friendly and accurate. I like the dining area, the music does not compete with conversations, phone calls, etc. And is relaxing. It's a good area. I particularly like the egg white turkey bacon breakfast sandwich. I really enjoy the staff at this location and the quickness of the drive thru. They are always super nice and the indoors are always clean.

I really hate giving less-than-positive reviews, but it's also fair to warn customers about service problems so they can make informed choices about where they spend their money. If you place a mobile order with drink customizations and pick up through the drive through, this location seems to have a worse track record than others in the area of getting those orders right. This is about the only Starbucks where I have to ask them to remake my order as entered on the app. Normally they do so with no complaint, so I have no issues with that (everyone makes mistakes). However, apparently the Saturday morning crew wasn't having it. Starbucks has a stated policy of "making it right" so arguing with a customer that the drink was made right and then finally passive-aggressively remaking the drink in another "not right way" isn't really a professional way to act and doesn't reflect well on the Starbucks brand. Since there are many other Starbucks stores in the area - and other locally owned coffee shops! - I think I will have to avoid this one for the time being. I hope I get the opportunity to update this with a better review for improved customer service at a future date. read more

I am in town for a few weeks and have been coming here daily for 2 weeks. I've been a Starbucks regular for 15 years all over the country (gold of course ;) and I have to say, I am very impressed with how quick and efficient this Starbucks is--both inside and at the drive-thru. Their staff is exceptionally polite and friendly. My experience has been the same the other 3 times I've visited this past year. I live in NYC, so for me to be impressed by a business's speed outside the city is saying something. Today, however, the drive-thru had 3 cars ahead of me (waited 2min in line) and I had to wait about 2min for my coffees once at the window. Really not that bad, but I thought to myself wow they're a bit "slow" today (compared to how quick they usually are). And then almost on cue, the barista handed me a free coffee coupon with the rest of my order apologizing wholeheartedly for the wait today. Now THAT is customer service! I didn't even have to say anything nor was the wait really that bad, so that prompted me to finally write this positive review. I definitely recommend this location! read more

This Starbucks is so efficient! I've ordered on-the-go and every time my chai latte is waiting on the side bar, ready to take! It's still hot and stays hot for a while. I also went in this store with my cousin and they made our drinks within 3 minutes. Plenty of room to sit both inside and outside. The staff is friendly. They have two bathrooms, though one is currently out of order. It's hidden but once you find it, you'll go all the time! The drive-thru does get clogged up because of the small parking lot it's in, so I recommend ordering ahead of time on the app! read more

I've never had a bad experience at any Starbucks location ( knocks on wood ), and this location didn't disappoint. Like most locations, the lines in the drive-thru can be long, so I pretty much decide to walk in for each visit. Inside is pretty narrow, but with ample amount of seating. I also found that there wasn't a long wait, being that there were two cashiers. I find the baristas to be very friendly and having a sense of urgency, which I can appreciate in an environment such as this that seems to always be busy. Lately I have been ordering the smoked butterscotch latte and the frappuccino version and they both are great. Not too sweet. The baristas here always go the extra smile! After stopping by this particular location yesterday the 23rd, I have decided to make this my regular store! It was around nine in the morning and the baristas here were clearly overwhelmed with an enormous amount of business. Surprisingly, it took only a few moments from ordering for my delicious three shots, 210 degree no foam soy milk latte large size to arrive at the counter. Many locations protest making such a hot beverage, but upon explaining my medical condition, the nice woman at the register happily put my order in. It was a very nice day so I decided to sit outside and enjoy watching pedestrians nearly get run down by the voracious patrons in the abhorrently designed drive thru. The only available table was rather dirty, but before I had the chance to wipe it off with some napkins, a barista who was CLEARLY ON BREAK leapt up, ripped his shirt off, and began to wipe the up all the fecal matter left by the precious Stephen G. Ordinarily I would be perturbed by feces at a table, but seeing as Stephen is entirely composed of such, I understood. I thanked the barista as he put the filthy shirt back on, but he insisted, "I exist only to serve, sir. Please consider putting an extra penny in the tip jar so my children may afford to eat tonight." He then went back inside where he belongs. I stop at this Starbucks almost every day on my way to work. This must be a training store, because I constantly see a lot of new faces and then they are gone. This location is pretty consistent - which is why I go here so often. But I HATE it when I spend over $5 on a drink and they only fill it 3/4 (if that) full. What the hell Starbucks?! As a stockholder I appreciate you trying to maximize your profits; but as a consumer give me the full effing cup of coffee that I paid for. Never going back here again. The old lady with the attitude and I guess what she considers to to be wit does not need to work here or in customer service. I got up early today, excited to get my free birthday drink before work... I walk in, ask her what was in a new drink (holiday blend something... it did not specify whether it was a latte and I have no clue what it tastes like). Her answer? "I don't know." She asks her other employee. HE also says I don't know... with an attitude and then starts guessing and ends with "something like that". That totally sounds appetizing. Then she asked me what size I wanted (there was only an option for the tall size listed on the board). I'm assuming she nodded her head after I asked if it was a latte because apparently no one knows what they are selling in this location. So when I tell her I have an email, which clearly states the offer, etc... she questions it, asks me where the barcode is (it doesn't have one) goes to another employee (which surprise, is also clueless and apathetic). She comes back over and tells me I have to pull up a barcode and it's on my Starbucks card. I don't have my Starbucks card on me. Since it's no skin off your back and you idk, work for Starbucks, maybe you should've wished me a Happy Birthday and just said no worries, we've got you. OR, maybe not been a total you know what and ruined at moment with your unpleasant attitude. After I explain I don't have my Starbucks card on me and I ask her if there's any other way we can do the transaction, she says, "No. Do you still want your drink (I also ordered a bagel)?" I just told her forget and started to walk away. Had I not been going to work, I would've turned right back around when she started to say something smart. There's absolutely NO need for that. They just lost my business and best believe I'll tell everyone I work with and used to work with to take their business elsewhere. Not to mention it's an unpleasant route to get to their location (you have to go around the back way, which is worse in traffic) and they don't have a drive thru. I've been here many times and can say that the coffee is fine but the help is less than what I expect at a Starbucks. The other big gripe here is they keep it too cold. Because he messes it up & told me my card was declined. I informed him that it was not. I had already checked my balance & my card was good. Then Savannah not sure if she was manager or not but she came over being smart mouth & rude to me the customer . She stated your card has been declined & we can't see what's in your account. This is the smaller of the two Starbucks on Windward. This location is West of 400 and the other about 2 miles East of 400. Shotgun style with split outdoor seating in front and back as it has an end parcel. Only a couple tables in front, and mostly smokers in the back. Limited seating inside compared to other locations in the area and most for 2 and not 4. Baristas here are very friendly and drinks accurate, just not much in terms of space. For working, I head to the other location. For after lunch or just a coffee stop, its a normal SBucks. read more
