I'm not sure what's going on at this location but on our last several visits they haven't had featured doughnuts whether it's 10 am, 2pm or 7pm. Tonight the hot light was on in the app, I pulled up to the shop and the hot light is off in the window and the chairs were stacked, a staff member was mopping and all of the doughnut trays were put away, It was 8:39pm and there were NO hot doughnuts and when I asked a staff member I was told there weren't any but I could smell them when I pulled up outside. Very first time at Krispy Kreme and it was unpleasant. Because of covid i understand that they aren't letting anyone inside and it's drive thru only but the employees should understand that i don't have their menu memorized and know exactly what i want when i pull up to the order spot. The lady that took my order was so so so rude to me because i didn't know what donuts i wanted. She was rushing me and when i asked her about one donut she angrily told me they didn't even have it. After an awful breakfast somewhere else we drove by Krispy Kreme and the 'Hot Donuts' sign was lit...so...! I mean is it really ok to drive past the "Hot Donuts" sign when you have two kids? So we stopped in to grab some of the hot donuts to make up for our crappy breakfast...oh, and to get a couple for my kids too...yeah, that's the ticket! It was actually my first time getting FRESH Krispy Kremes and OMG the warm glazed donuts were really, REALLY good. I usually don't bother with reviews for fast food, but this place is ridiculous! I am new to the area and have tried this location a few times. EVERY time I go they are out of most of the different types of doughnuts, especially the ones that are special promotions. The doughnuts are usually abnormally small, hard, and lack filling compared to other locations. I go in the early afternoon as well, not even late at night or on the last day of the promotion. Today I went to specifically try the Golden Cookies and Cream doughnut. I ordered a 3 pack online. I went to pick up my order and was the only person in the drive thru, and there was no one in the store (I guess everyone around here knows this place is a joke). They handed me my box. I pulled off and checked it, and received a Chocolate Kreme doughnut. Chocolate makes me sick. The staff threw it in there, and didn't see an issue, or the need to tell me they were out of the doughnut, and offer me a different one of MY choice. When I went back I told them I received the wrong doughnut and specifically went to try the new one, they just sat there and would not respond. I was not rude nor did I raise my voice. When I said are you out, the person replied "yes" in a hostile tone. I responded "ok"....still silence. I told them I did not like this kind as chocolate makes me sick, and I heard a loud sigh and annoyance, and like they still didn't see the problem. I asked if I could get something else, and just went with a regular glazed. The person at the windows then proceeded to take a glove and dig in my box to take the chocolate doughnut. If they didn't have on a glove I would've lost it. I still don't want someone's hands all in my box. I would not have ordered anything had I known they were out of the new doughnut. I have left this location several times, because they never have hardly anything. I pass it when I leave or come home. The staff has never been overly friendly or helpful. I work in multiple locations, and literally wait for Thursdays when I go to Manassas to get KK, instead of stopping 5 minutes away while passing it on my way home. I never have issues there, and they are pleasant (and crowded). I stopped today, because I did a mobile order, and low and behold they mess that up. They seriously need a new staff, and need to train people on customer service. There are people with allergies. They also need a way to adjust the app to reflect what they actually have! read more

Visiting this Krispy Kreme location is always a fun adventure. The seasonal donuts are decorated in all their holiday glory. We especially enjoyed seeing the ugly sweater donuts and Santa belt donuts. You can see the donuts being produced in a large windowed area of the building. You know they are fresh when you can see them being created! The classic donuts are our favorite and we can see why there is normally a line at this location... because it's worth it! Yum! read more

Saw the advertisement on FB for KK delivery so I thought I'd try it out. I ordered a dozen original glazed and 12 glazed chocolate since that was my first time seeing them. When I got the chocolate donuts they pulled a fast one on me! They should have called them chocolate covered rejects! All the deformed ones that normally go in the trash. I know because I've seen so many locations that have the conveyor belt and see the rejects go straight into the trash. But someone at this location decided to get creative and put a chocolate coating on the rejects. The part that bothers me the most is they cost more than the original glazed! read more

You can't go wrong with Krispy Kreme donuts when you have that donut craving - they're soft and fluffy and melt in your mouth. However, sometimes they're just too sweet (too much glaze and then icing it on top). And they also tend to run out of specialty donuts quickly, especially when they have promotions; I just wish they had more in stock. I also wish they have more variety than their standard donuts - for example, offering the apple cinnamon donut as shown online; I don't think I've ever seen it at this particular Krispy Kreme. I haven't had that much of an issue with service. Sometimes it is a bit slow, but it's because they're serving the customer in front of me and that person might not know what they want, so sometimes you just have to wait patiently for your turn. We lived near a Krispy Kreme in New York City and would delight in going there when the red light was turned on for donuts right out of the oven. We found, unfortunately, over time that the donuts were not as fresh as we would have like especially when purchased from a store where the donuts were not freshly made. This location almost experienced a one-person riot. After driving several hours specifically for HOT AND NOW doughnuts, we pulled the van into the parking lot. "are we lost?" asked one van occupant, rubbing the sleep from her eyes. "You look different," she sleepily remarked. It was 7:30am, we'd been driving since 4am. "This is rage," said the driver. It was 7:30. Clearly within the 6-11am HOT AND NOW window designated by the corporate website...only one problem. The light wasn't on. Rage was about to descend management. Letters were being mentally prepared demanding Doughnut Reparations for this huge transgression. The conveyor wasn't moving. There were no fresh doughnuts. Silence, unacceptable silence! But first: the bathroom. Clean yes. Radio was on full volume!!! (to make up for the silence on the doughnut making room floor) Exit bathroom, the machine is moving. Doughnuts are made! ...one problem... the light still isn't on, and these doughnuts look strange. "Wass that?" says the stranger, pointing at the different looking doughnuts coming off the conveyor. Have stopped here about once a year for the past few years when on the way to Virginia Beach/Outer Banks and haven't had any problems previously. But this time around, we were helped by a girl who clearly didn't want to be there. I listed off some flavors for a half dozen and she not only didn't hear one, but two flavors, so I didn't get the Tiramisu and Original Glazed donuts that I had listed first. And right before she took my order, the previous couple who had been served right before me came back into the store and asked for the correct donut, since she originally grabbed the one above the tray of the donuts he had actually wanted. Ive been to this location three times and every time I was helped by a different associate and they have all been extremely nice and friendly! They certainly don't seem/act like they hate their job. Last visit my friend couldn't make up her mind about which type of donut she wanted and the girl that was helping her stood with patience and smiled and helped her select them.
