It's no frills, but that is the surprising thing, this place has good food, friendly staff/owners. Had the lox and bagel. Bagel tastes good, it was also soft. They could use more seating. Bagel 8 out of 10 Atmosphere 6 out of 10 Staff 9 out of 10

I thought that Botta Bing was decent. I stopped in and ordered a few breakfast bagels. I ordered everything bagels with bacon and eggs. Everything was made fresh to order. The service was fast and good. The inside is like a deli. It's kinda hard to find because it's a little hidden. Other than that, it's worth a visit. 4 Stars

Botta Bing Bagel & Deli is located off of Garrisonville Road. However, it's worth noting that the entrance to Botta Bing is on the back side of the building. I passed it the first time and had to turn around. Several other businesses also occupy parts of the same building - so it's easy to miss. I ordered their Nova Lox Bagel sammie: Lox, cream cheese, red onions, and capers on an Everything Bagel. I wished they offered fresh dill on it. In any case, it was a very tasty Lox & Bagel offering. It's a small place on the inside - 3 tables to eat it. There are also 3 tables outside. Service was good. Folks running the place were very nice. Paid with Apple Pay. #BottaBingBagel

I grew up going to botta bing so when back in my hometown I knew I had to stop in! As always the service is amazing and the prices are great! My steak was tender and the bagel had a great flavor. I will say the bagel texture left a tad to be desired - not as firm as I prefer but I still enjoyed my sandwich. Overall a decent spot but I think in the future I'd return out of nostalgia not a craving.

Botta Bing Bagel is a Korean-owned bagel/deli shop, nestled in the Stafford area. Their menu is pretty extensive, offering items such as bagels with shmears, breakfast platters, omelets, salads, sandwiches, and wraps. We came here for breakfast, and we ordered: +a Pancake platter - comes with two eggs, choice of protein, home fries, and two pancakes; we opted for scrambled eggs and a sausage patty; the pancakes were super delicious, as they were large, fluffy, and had crispy edges; the sausage patty was a little salty, and the home fries were just sliced fried potatoes +a Bagel Egg Steak Cheese bagelwich - the egg is automatically scrambled, and they can't do fried; I wished there were more steak in this one, as it's more egg heavy; I did like how they folded in the egg with the steak, so chopped steak wouldn't fall out while eating; this came out super hot! Staff was very friendly, welcoming, and very kind! There's limited seating inside, but most seem to order ahead and get theirs to go - the place was very busy, and you can tell that this is a favorite with the locals! I'd love to try their lunch sandwiches the next time, such as the chicken salad, pastrami, corned beef, and the tuna melt sub. Located off of Garrisonville Rd, it's behind the Kitchens for You in the small plaza. There's some parking spots outside. +delicious pancakes! +friendly service! +limited seating +some parking spots available

Small local shop made to order. The bagels tasted homemade with quite a few options to choose from. Order ahead on the weekends if after 9am. Plan to eat there again if in the area. Fresh brewed coffee with cream and sugar. Bottled juice and milk available for purchase. Breakfast and lunch bagel sandwiches to choose from

I wanted to check out the OG Bagel Uprising location in Del Ray before their second location opened…read moreup in Ballston, and I was pleasantly surprised by the pricing and the chewiness of the bagels. I stopped by sometime in the early afternoon last Wednesday to grab something for lunch and some bagels to go. SALMON, EGG, & AVOCADO - 10.75 I was pleasantly surprised that three very expensive ingredients in a bagel was only $10.75. I feel like most places charges $14+ for anything with smoked salmon on it. I chose the plain bagel for the least amount of mess (even though the sesame or garlic bagel would have been great). My bagel was perfectly toasted with the perfect chewiness. It was still really messy because this comes with an over easy egg, and the yolk got everywhere. Overall, great bagel sandwich. 1/2 DOZEN BAGELS - 10 The server who took my order told me asked if I wanted 10 bagels for $10 instead -- how could I say no? I grabbed some plains, sesames, poppy seeds, and a garlic. I've only tried the plain and garlic so far, and the garlic is a bit messy and leaves a lingering garlicky smell after I heated it up. I kind of liked it, but not for everyone. My friend enjoyed the sesame bagel! HOUSE MADE VEGAN CREAM CHEESE - 11 I was curious about their version of vegan cream cheese (made of coconut cream and tofu), so I bought a tub to try. It's not bad, but I don't love it. It has a very strong coconut cream flavor, which threw me off, and it melts really easily and does not hold its consistency well. Overall, good try, but I'll stick with regular cream cheese next time. Thankful that Bagel Uprising keeps their pricing more reasonable. I'm excited for their second location to open in Ballston, which is much closer to me.

They offer a large assortment of fresh made bagels, a large assortment of cream cheese varietals/spreads along with their fresh house made coffee. All of which are quite tasty. Aside from the bagels they also offer a large assortment of bagel sandwiches. This is a counter order operation with no inside dining available. Uncovered outside picnic tables are available if you want to enjoy your food on the premises which we did on this glorious spring day. Relative to staff they are super friendly and efficient in getting the food out which is important as this business is quite popular on Weekend mornings in particular. Overall if you like fresh bagels than this business should be right up your alley.

**** updated response to owner ***…read more I hear what you're saying about space and production limits, but that's exactly the point. If your setup can't support the volume and variety you're offering, then the issue is planning, not just space. Offering 16+ flavors while running out of plain bagels (or any bagels for that matter) before 10:30am isn't a demand anomaly, it's a mismatch between your menu and your capacity. Make fewer varieties, produce more of the basics, and you don't lose customers walking out. This isn't about comparing you to high-volume shops, it's about getting the fundamentals right. Plain bagels are the baseline. If those are gone, the rest of the menu doesn't really matter. End result is still the same, long wait, no product, lost sale. ***** Waited 12 minutes at Weird Dough Bagels this morning just to be told they were out of multiple bagels, including plain. Plain bagels... gone before 10:30am. If your concept is 16+ flavors, maybe figure out how to not run out of the one thing every single customer expects you to have. This isn't "high demand," it's bad planning. I'm from New York and I've never seen a bagel shop miss on basics like this. And in all the years going to Bodo's Bagels, I've never seen them run out of bagels, period. As a former café owner, running out of core items isn't quirky or artisanal, it's a failure. Walked out without ordering, about a $50 ticket lost because you couldn't manage inventory on the most basic product you sell. Do less, do it better. Right now it's neither.

They have plenty of seating inside and a few tables outside, or you can order to-go. They also have coffee, pastries, and other drinks (soda, water, etc.). Parking is available on the street or in one of the many municipal lots in town, so don't be discouraged by their old town location. Even from a municipal lot, it's a short walk to their shop. They're open during the day now, but are about to start evenings Thurs-Sat with mocktails and melt sandwiches!

I stopped by about an hour before closing, which may have impacted my experience. By that time, a lot of the bagels were already sold out. That said, the menu was very extensive with tons of bagel sandwich options and other items. There's also some indoor seating, and they sell a variety of snacks, drinks, and bottled waters--almost like a small convenience store. This definitely seems like a great spot for a quick breakfast on the go. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. One suggestion I'd make is to invest in paper menus or QR code menus--the menu was a bit hard to read, especially with so many options. I ordered three onion bagels to go, along with a container of plain cream cheese and a smaller chive cream cheese. Unfortunately, the bagels were disappointing. They were pretty hard and didn't have much onion flavor at all. On the bright side, the cream cheese was amazing--both the plain and chive were super creamy and flavorful, easily the highlight of my visit. I'd be willing to give this place another try, but probably closer to opening hours in hopes of getting fresher bagels. I can see why people like it, and I think timing really matters here.
