Krispy Kreme donuts speak for themselves, they are amazing and they always will be amazing. The people that work at this specific location make it not worth it to buy the mouth watering pastries. If you go inside they usually couldn't care less that you're there purchasing donuts or anything for that matter it seems like they would rather share stories behind the counter - but odds are they will atleast get most of your order (on a very small menu) correct. The drive through is what will get you, god forbid you're in a hurry, go somewhere else. The drive through at Krispy Kreme should have never been a thought process. You will get most of your order wrong and it will take the time it takes to cook you a steak and potatoes to get it wrong, it's actually impressive. The best part about the drive through is that you sit there thinking about how you shouldn't eat these donuts and your waistline gets angrier by the minute so it's great because by the time you get to the second window because the first one is broken, you really don't want the donuts anymore, but it's a closed in drive through so unless you want to be "that guy" and drive off, you're forced to eat the donuts. pulled up to order donuts and they said they were sold out. acted like they didn't work there and was being ignorant and said "oh i can check in the back, oh wait no there's nothing" i even asked to get the regular donuts and they said they don't have any... Employees are not friendly, the most recent time I came here I tried to order one of the specialty donuts only available on certain days. Went through the drive-through and they handed me a different donut. When I noticed it wasn't what I ordered, they said that they didn't have them because their line was down. After that they closed the window so I guess I'm stuck with this donut that I didn't order. Would've at least appreciated if they had mentioned it when I ordered it at the drive-through window, although I guess I should give them the benefit of the doubt and maybe they thought I was asking for something different? read more

This review literally went from a 1 to a 5 while I was writing it. Sign said hot donuts so I stopped. Specifically asked for warm glazed donuts they were cold. Went up to door and complained and wax brought back cold donuts again. I walked back up and handed the cold donuts back and was told that's as warm as they have because they are making special donuts. I gave them back and asked him to throw them away as the cold ones would not be eaten. They don't taste the same. I'm writing my 1 star review in my car and the same person I complained to had brought me out 2 empty filled donuts. The closest thing he could get me to a warm glazed donut. The donuts are good, but it was the staff that ruined the experience. I hadn't been into Krispy Kreme in years and when I came in I was not greeted and the workers stood in a circle just talking as I waited to order. The girl who finally got my order started seemed to be annoyed with everything, not to mention she didn't get my order right. I won't fuss about the order being wrong, but the customer service wasn't great at all. I thought I'd give it another try the next week and the same poor service was given again. I stood waiting for 5 minutes to be attended as they talked amongst each other that was clear wasn't work related. Feeling a little bummed out because I LOOVEEE glazed donuts. One of the bigger Krispy Kreme I've seen compared to east coast. The tables were a little messy, some people just don't clean after themselves or staff are a little busy. I ordered 3 donuts and ice latte with milk sugar. My latte was too sweet and I asked if I could have one with no sugar. The cashier happily obliged for which I was thankful. OMG! I placed an online order for 2 dozen donuts. My order was short one dozen and I did not know of the mistake until I got to the office and did not have what I needed for my meeting. I called to let hem know of the mistake. The MANAGER hung up on me twice! The third time I called he refused to answer but told his employee to tell me I would get a refund. Absolutely miserable, piss-poor service. My girlfriend and I went into this location because of the famous "red light" was on and the donuts were coming out with fresh glaze. We started off in line to get one of the free donuts that are supposedly given out to people who enter the store when the red light was on, a thing we have done on numerous occasions at this very location. The line for the free donuts started to fill up as the 3 cashiers very slowly put donuts in two 12 count boxes for a family waiting at the register. My girlfriend and I said to eachother "Well they're paying attention to the paying customers, and we just want a fresh donut, so let's just pay for six". So we were next in line as paying customers after the family before us had gotten their donuts. We waited in line at the register and asked "Can we get six of the fresh donuts in a box?" And the cashier said "I work the drive thru" and walked away. She came back a few minutes later and my girlfriend said "Are we able to be served?" And the girl said nothing and walked away again. We said thanks and walked out the door empty handed. We understood that the 4-6 employees at the donut line were very busy making the donuts, but the three cashiers up front moped around behind the counter lethargically while a line of people was growing nearly to the back door waiting on a donut off the line, as well as a handful of customers at the front of the store waiting to pay for donuts. I grew up on Krispy Kreme donuts!! Then, most of them went out of business in the late 90s. I couldn't believe it when I found one just down the street from my apartment when I moved to GR! My parents are so jealous!! The best time to buy them is when they are hot off the press---when the red light in the window is on!!! At this location, it seems to come on right around 5pm.....before dinner when everyone is driving home from work! You will see floods of kids & adults lining up just for a free donut! When you walk in, there's a machine behind a glass window that drops batter into hot oil to cook the donut & then the conveyer belt moves the donut along to be drenched in sugary icing. As the donuts are made, the staff will hand you a fresh, hot donut from the conveyer belt! The donut will literally melt in your mouth! There's no pressure to buy anything with your free donut, but I usually buy a coffee to go with it! The plain drip coffee is good as is their pumpkin spice latte! I have never had a bad donut here! But make sure to eat them ASAP or they will get hard very fast! They sell coffee mugs, thermos, hats & tshirts too. They even have a drive thru!! read more

I love Krispy Kreme, and I live about a mile away from this one and am there a lot. The donuts are always great. However never have I been here and had a friendly employee serve me. Some of the rudest and sassiest employees I have ever encountered anywhere. I don't think I have ever seen any of them smile and I have seen several eye rolls. While I would certainly give the donuts a higher rating, I am giving it a low rating due to the customer service from the staff. When I call a day ahead for a 6 dozen donut order, and let you know I'll be there at 7AM, that's so I can get in and out without having to wait! I walked in today expecting my order to be ready for me to pay and dash...NOPE...Because your person says "it only takes a minute to fill that" it was not ready as I had requested. Since I gave the order over the phone, I didn't bring my list with me....but thankfully Heath, you did remember that - which is why I didn't give you rock bottom rating....but I had to wait and watch you drop a half a pan of donuts on the floor...then go back and get another pan. Do I consider this good customer service...NOPE. Next time a customer calls...have the order ready. Oh and that thing about getting a free hot donut when I came in...didn't get that either. Management might want to consider a refresher in customer services techniques. I'll go back to another source for my donut needs for a while so you can do that. read more
