Today there are no donuts available. They are Out of original glaze, and they never have the speciality donuts that are advertised. Today all that's available is a dozen of 4 chocolate frosted, 4 strawberry frosted, 4 glazed. But I can't order 12 glazed?? Leaves me to believe when I pick up the order it will be only chocolate and strawberry frosted. I've been told this location doesn't make their donuts but buys them in Omaha so they run out of everything, never seen the Hot Now sign on. The donuts are so tiny that I thought I was missing one from my box (previous order) Way overpriced, tiny, no selection and obviously not fresh. This location needs new management, or it will go out of business soon. I'm done with KK, it's near a Hy-vee grocery that has better selection and prices. read more

If you are going into this shop looking for ordinary frosted cake donuts you're at the wrong place! While they do have frosted donuts its not the type of donut they are famous for. If you decide to go in and they're making fresh hot donuts you can see the really neat conveyor belt like machine that makes and glazes them. It's incredible! I'm so happy that there's finally one in Lincoln after all these years. There's one in Omaha as well but that was too far for an everyday craving. If I could leave a negative star I would. My daughter and went in to get coffee and a doughnut. The young lady took our order for the two doughnuts and then walked away. A nice man came up and asked if we have been helped. I then explained what happened. In the meantime the young lady came back and started complaining about how mean her boss was for telling her she had to wear a hat. I made the comment that this life and a hat is your uniform. She threw me some dirty looks and I then told her that she better nock that off because if you though your boss was mean you haven't met me yet. Carrying on. They could only make black coffee or iced coffee. They also didn't have creamer out. The nice man did pour some half and half into our coffee. Krispy Kreme is an anomaly for those that have eaten donuts before, but not Krispy Kreme. For the record, KK doesn't make donuts (or doughnuts). They make donut look-a-likes that act in many ways like cotton candy. When you take a bite, they dissolve in your mouth rapidly and the glaze gives you that instant sugary satisfaction. Because it seems as though you're eating sugar air, it can be quite easy to eat a dozen by yourself (I've done this and don't recommend it). Sure, they've got an assortment of other "real" donuts that come in on a truck every morning, but the fresh glazed variety that they make in house is where it's at. Notably, the cinnamon and chocolate devil's food are my favorites beyond the plain glazed. This particular location seemed much larger than others I've visited and was exceptionally well staffed. It took less than 10 minutes on a busy Saturday morning to get a couple dozen donuts and coffee. If you're on the East side of town and need to grab some donuts; this is a good option. read more

Krispy Kreme of course withholds the most scrumptious, delectable, and truly sublime doughnuts that the city of Lincoln has to offer. But in no stretch of the imagination, the wonderful attitude and exemplary service is what made this trip to the Kreme, a delightful one. Waiting at the drive thru, my 4 yo asked for a chocolate donut with sprinkles. I said we were just getting a glazed donut today. Then the worker took my order. These are the best donuts around town! Especially when you get them warm!!! We come on the weekends once in awhile to divulge in the poison of the processed sugar!! Even though we just get a couple donuts each, we still dine in and enjoy the free Wi-Fi! The staff are always friendly and helpful even when this placed just opened up and some of them were having a hard time with the POS machine! The app is pretty simple and very easy to use. I love Krispy Kreme just as much as the other person, but this particular location I was so disappointed when I asked for a dozen donuts and rather than pick out individual ones requested a mix of donuts to make things easier. Got the box from the drive-thru and when I got home they only gave me three different types of donuts in the Box. It was 30 minutes after opening so there was no question that they had Donuts available in all the different kinds. I love Krispy Kreme donuts and have had them in the south and Chicago. Service, quality and sampling have all been consistent, except for Lincoln. Normally when you walk in if the light is on and they are making donuts you are greeted with a smile and a free donut. However, the management in Lincoln ostensibly to control costs does not do this except on Saturday. Went to the drive thru today to get some of the advertised Valentine's Day donuts. Waited 40 minutes in the drive thru. Of the 4 flavors they advertise, they were out of 2 flavors - the 2 I wanted. So I bought a dozen chocolate iced (son's favorite) and 2 of the hearts for my husband. They threw them in a bag together. They look like something a toddler iced, there is no wording and NOTHING like the picture. If they are advertising heart shaped donuts on Valentine's Day, should they really be out of them by 9:30am??? And shouldn't they be made to look like what is advertised on the app? read more

Another fine Lincoln business with all lights on, including drive through at night and consumers in booths. Doors locked, no days or hours of business posted a where. Ok. We see a car go to drive through...again All lights on. So we did as well believing dining room closed and drive through open. As we were reading the lit menu a recording comes on thanking us for stopping but we are now closed. Please return during normal business hours. We looked Everywhere for business hours. Nada. None. Months of operation have passed. As other non business hours listed sites, we will never return. Our time is too valuable for cat and mouse games. Obviously, they do not value their customers or potential ones. Day of Entitlement mentality apparent. We will continue to do business where we are respected for taking the time to even go in the first place. This is Not an oversight! read more
