I went to this Krispy Kreme with my daughter who purchased a dozen donuts, donut holes, and three drinks. I asked for a cup of ice water and the cashier had the audacity to demand that I pay 53 cents for the cup. I went to pick up 4 dozen donuts for an event. I was one of 3 people in the store and the only one actually ordering. The woman working the register and filling my order was hurried and rude. I had to repeat my order several times and at one point she told me "I am not going to walk back and forth for all of these, so just tell me right now what you want." When I asked her to show me the donuts so I could be sure I had what I needed, she got huffy and started opening boxes so haphazardly that the donuts were jumbled on top of each other. Krispy Kreme in Lonetree, CO was actually OUT of glazed donuts on Mother's Day! Took my family there for the 1st time in the late afternoon and was informed that they were out of what I thought was their bread-and-butter product. They we were busy making "custom" apple fritters that were not for sale to the public and it would be at least 20m until any glazed donuts would be made. We (and many other patrons left disappointed. We live 20m away and do not plan to visit again. Update - The manger explained the situation (broken equipment) and offered us TWO dozen FREE donuts! We went the following week and got a dozen glazed and a dozen mixed donuts. They were awesome! read more

I don't know what it is with KK doughnuts; they ALWAYS taste better than any other doughnuts. First and last time at this Krispy Kreme. I ordered 6 doughnuts, 3 original and 3 sprinkled. When I got to work there were no sprinkled doughnuts and they all were cold and super stale (the hot doughnut sign was on when I went through the line). I also ordered a decaf coffee, was told it would be 5-7 min. so I opted for a hot chocolate instead. After forgetting the hot chocolate all together they made it and on my first drink I felt something hard in the drink hit my lips. I stop in every time I'm in the area. The donuts are pricey for what you get which is expected at all Krispy Kremes, but they are delicious as most people already know and they reheat really well. They are still my favorite donut beating out, by a long shot, Winchells, Dunkin Donuts, and the famed Lamars. We have some office folks that like very plain donuts with no glaze or frosting and fillings so we normally call in ahead of time to see what time those could be made. They have no problems accommodating us for these special oddball requests as long as we are ok with the time of their next donut run. Service is quick here even with a crowd, and the donuts always seem fresh. I can't say the same about the Krispy Kreme location at 16th St. Mall though (that location has sold me stale or skimpily frosted donuts before), but I'll save those details for a different review. read more

I don't know what it is with this place, but for some reason they do not turn their hot donuts sign on when they are making hot glazed donuts. I have been there several times when this is the case, I guess they just don't like making money at this location. They are also very inconsistent about giving out the free sample donuts when they are making donuts. Another reason for the poor rating is that many of their tables remain uncleaned for an extended period of time even when they are not busy. Nicole is great at this location. We came in to get a dozen assorted doughnuts and the hot light was on. We got mostly just plain glazed doughnuts and then a couple of the lemon filled and a Custard filled. They were a little cold so we simply asked just to have those 3 replaced with a hot glazed doughnut instead. The customer service was above and beyond and they made things right no questions asked. I just had the best experience at this store! My son turned 4 and wanted a police-themed party. So naturally, I decided to make a cake out of donuts (child of the Bangles era!). I went into the store, received free hot-off-the-line donuts and spoke to Crystal who was wonderful in helping me create my "cake". They even custom colored some of the donuts so that I could get some blue and red siren colors. I think she was as excited about it as me. This Krispy Kreme serves up a really good doughnut, but the service was piss poor. The workers were polite enough but they seemed to be ignoring the growing line of customers. Also, I wouldn't recommend getting the oreo chiller. Terrible. The only problem was there was evidently only one person that was qualified to operate the cash register and he was outside loading a thousand donuts in someone's van. As Neal says, it's Krispy Kreme. Their hot glazed donuts are the epitome of the joy of food. Bear in mind that they must be consumed within minutes of rolling off the machine; that godly flavor has a half-life of a minute or two at most, and then after that it's simply not the same. Recounting my most recent experience at this location, I had ordered three hot glazed donuts, instead received three tepid glazed donuts, made my way through the drive-thru a second time and explained my outrage, at which point it was explained to me that the hot donuts roll off the machine in cycles and that I had received mine on the cusp of one. Apologetically, a woman I assumed was a manager of some sort suggested I wait inside for the next batch, which I did, and to my boundlessly pleasant surprise I was presented with not three, but thirteen hot glazed donuts, twelve in a box and one sitting atop it, less than a minute later. I went through the drive thru this morning & had the WORST experience. I wanted to get an assorted dozen, but at least 4 of the donuts I asked for they were all out of. Keep in mind it's 8am. How do you run out of so many types of donuts this early in the morning!? Then I asked for an iced tea, not so shockingly they didn't have any!!! When I got to the window I asked the girl if there's anything they AREN'T out of. She tells me that they don't even sell iced tea.... first of all, what place doesn't sell such a basic drink as iced tea!? I asked the girl why it's on the menu & she proceeds to tell me that there's many things they have on their menu that they don't actually sell! Which to me is beyond absurd!!! I was hoping for a Christmas miracle (that there were still donuts left) when I stopped at Krispy Kreme earlier today to get some holiday donuts for my niece. Needless to say there was quite the line inside & people were in typical last minute, little patience spirit, but luckily all off the employees seemed to be in the holiday spirit, which was refreshing! As I waited patiently I noticed that one of the people working there was Deaf (I unfortunately did not get his name & apologize for referring to him as the Deaf employee) He was so sweet, patient & kind to all the hearing people who were screaming (thinking he'd be able to hear) & pointing trying to tell him their order. I waited until it was my turn & told the other worker that I would wait until he was available. When he looked at me with a smile, I immediately signed to him my order, his eyes lit up & his smile became even brighter. Sometimes it's the little things that you can do to make someone's day that much better. It was totally worth the wait & even though a lot of the holiday donuts had ran out, the strawberry glazed one I ate right after I left the store was absolutely delicious! I'm not a donut girl per say, but I'll definitely be back soon even if it is just to bring my 1 1/2 year old niece there so she can ask for a donut using Sign Language! read more

Donuts are amazing and we stop every time we are in the area and the hot light is on. The staff is another thing. They are slow, and rarely have I seen anyone under 60 working there. My order was wrong two visits in a row, and when I complained, I found out the person serving me was the manager, an old Hispanic man. One of the issues was that he dropped the empty donut box on the ground, picked it up, and put our dozen donuts into it. I refused to accept them. Surprised he is the manager. read more

While most of the employees are friendly enough, Dwayne ruined the customer service experience. At the end of our 30 minute wait (which is to be expected at the only game in town on a Sunday) Dwanye processed our order while not making eye contact or any friendly conversation. When we inquired about the "International Specialty" doughnuts of the month, Dwanye gruffly made excuses blaming corporate for not sending the recipes and giving no clear answer as to when or if they might be getting them. A week later, we called in, again inquiring about the specialty doughnuts, (that had been advertised by Krispy Kreme on social media outlets) and, after waiting 3 minutes for somebody to pick up the phone, Dwanye answered. Again he was incredibly rude and when asked if they had the specialty doughnuts he simply said "No, and we won't be getting them". Now, I understand that things happen that are out of their control, however he seemed to be incapable of tolerating any sort of human interaction in an acceptable customer service fashion. While their doughnuts are unparalleled, the customer service and execution of sales is incredibly lacking. Krispy Kreme...The name itself makes my mouth water. Krispy Kreme is a unique doughnut shop that offers a great sales pitch, nice service (most of the time), and doughnuts that could be the best in all of the U.S. Krispy Kreme has a hot n' fresh sign boasting free glazed doughnuts off the line. Also KK has a glassed in assembly line so you can see what your getting and how the doughnuts are made. The service can be great, but sometimes the younger employees have a bad attitude and don't seem to want to be there. Although the service may sometimes be bad I overlook it because of the doughnuts. Now the good part, the doughnuts. The doughnuts are pure heaven with different types. The old fashioned glazed, chocolate, and jelly. These doughnuts won't just rock your socks off, but will get your shoes to! Also Krispy Kreme offers wonderful doughnut holes that boast the same great taste of the doughnuts. read more

Wanted to relay some info on your franchise store at 7514 East Parkway Drive, Lone Tree, CO 80124. I'm a lifelong Krispy Kreme fan, wear the tshirts, and find one in every city I vacation in. Went to Denver and this store is the closest to where we are staying. We went on 2/13 and the drivethru female was so unhelpful not aware of what donuts they had and kept saying hold on and would never return. After 5 min of waiting, we left. We went back the next day thinking ok surely it was just the one worker, we won't let that experience hinder getting our favorite donuts. Unfortunately no, this evening at 5pm we went inside, were not offered any free taste and not even told welcome to Krispy Kreme, and the store was vacated with only two customers. The donuts in the display case apparently were ALL mislabeled and Jaime the employee was unable to get any of what was available, placed in the correct trays, and relayed they were not making anymore donuts even though they didn't close for another five hours. Overall, completely unhelpful and extremely poor customer service. I've been to dozens of stores and I'm massively disappointed in this one and experience. read more
