Outside at night. Storefront and drive-thru.

We had a good experience at this Krispy Kreme. It's the only one in Raleigh, which I found kind of surprising since North Carolina is Krispy Kreme's home state. There are five Krispy Kreme stores in the Triangle. I grew up close to the one in High Point: https://www.yelp.com/biz/krispy-kreme-high-point-2 At this location, we picked up an Assorted 3 Pack for $5.79 ($6.27 after tax). We got two Original Glazed Doughnuts and one Chocolate Iced Custard Filled Doughnut. As always, regardless of location (in my experience), the doughnuts were delicious. You can't go wrong with a classic Original Glazed, in my opinion. At the right temperature, they melt in your mouth. And they're yummy at room temp too. As for the Chocolate Iced Custard Filled Doughnut, I enjoyed it. I think I prefer the version with "Kreme" Filling because the Kreme has a lighter, fluffier consistency than the custard, but both are tasty. At the time of our visit, a dozen Original Glazed were priced at $14.49 ($1.21 each), Assorted $16.49 ($1.37 each), and Specialty $18.49 ($1.54 each). 3 Pack Original Glazed was $5.29. They also offered combos (doughnuts + coffee/milk) and individual drinks like coffees and iced lattes (machine-made, $4.49 each). We visited on a Saturday night around 8pm. The store was comfortably busy with dine-in, takeout, and drive-thru orders. It wasn't crowded. Our wait was very short. Service was fine. This is an old-school Krispy Kreme with a classic, retro look, inside and out. This location opened in 1970. It's in downtown Raleigh, on the border of the Historic Oakwood neighborhood, just one block east of William Peace University (I knew it as Peace College). Like other Krispy Kreme locations, this one has clear views of the doughnut production line. I always enjoy looking at it. They also had the traditional Krispy Kreme fold-up paper hats here. The drive-thru lane and parking lot wrap around the building. There's plenty of parking.

Pros: Hot & Fresh Donuts , fresh & friendly service! We were able to get in and out within a matter of minutes although they were pretty busy. Cons: Carbs

I drove to the Krispy Kreme in Raleigh as the Wake Forest location was drive thru only when I bought the donuts for Discount Tire. I was planning to go inside. when I arrived there were a bunch of cars parked so I took one of the empty spots as I was getting out of the car to walk around to the door the lady working the window let me know it was drive thru only. So I appreciated that she saved me a trip around to see the note on the door. So I wanted to try the new donuts and had a coupon so I got in the drive thru lane that wrapped around the building. It moved pretty quickly considering the number of cars ahead of me. Two vehicles did get out of the line at various points. I got the banana pudding; strawberries and Kreme and the key lime donut as well as some other favorites. Customer service was very friendly from the minute I got out of my car to the minute I left the drive thru. They were very patient as well as I forgot to say how many donuts I was ordering. I will come back here the next time I am craving donuts.

I haven't visited Krispy Kreme since relocating to Raleigh so I was in for a treat while driving through the Historical Oakwood section of downtown. My daughter insisted we pull over to get some donuts. The Drive Thru was already flooded when I pulled in and I had some time to think about my choices. There something about the thick sugar coated glaze on the original and Glazed raspberry filled donuts. My staples are the Raspberry filled and iced chocolate with rainbow sprinkles. The light was off so unfortunately I did not get to enjoy these babies warm.

I've always loved Krispy Kreme; I mean they're fantastic. I stopped by to ask about party favors and the manager was so friendly and helpful. He gave me a sample of the box and doughnuts for the favor. I love how you can watch the doughnuts being made fresh and they will grab the doughnuts directly from the line. Krispy Kreme doughnuts are yummy, gooey, and perfect in every way. I only indulge every once in a while for my health, but I wish I could eat them more often.

We stopped here purely because we drove by and noticed the old sign and there was a wait for dinner, and I'm glad we did. The strawberry sprinkles glazed donut was the perfect appetizer! So light and it had the perfect, glaze crunch. We also tried a regular glazed and chocolate frosted creme filled donut. As a Krispy Kreme newbie, I look forward to coming back. The staff were so nice and prompt too.

Chocolate with custard feeling, one covered in glaze, and two halloween special...

I have visited this place a few times, I don't eat too much this type of treats but when in do I enjoy them. This donuts are good specially with a cup of coffee, they are sweet and delicious. Not the best ones that i ever had but it's just personal preference. Today they got a few for halloween, i got two.

Craving pumpkin spice for the season. I dropped in and got a dozen to share with others. These were as good as I remember. Pumpkin is always a hit in my home during Fall and the holiday season. The others were glaze and a few random assorted to make the dozen since that made better sense as a purchase. Well worth it. Delicious! The staff here are pleasant and patient even when it's on a busy Friday evening.

Melt in your mouth! This location is by far the best. Original to Raleigh, they have a viewing area for you to see the hot donuts come fresh off of the press. Always smiles behind the counter ready to serve you. Run in quick or stay for a while. A KK donut will turn any bad day around. Have a KK donut adoree- they have a little area with merch and donut worthy gifts. Nostalgia will bring you back again. Fridays are chocolate donut Fridays and boy are they good! A box of hot KK donuts express your love for anyone!

I had the crab claws, crispy shrimp and dumplings. The crab claws were delicious. Lots of them too. Served with bread I didn't use. The crispy shrimp were nice large shrimp and a spicy sauce with rice. I ended up using the rice with the crab claw sauce. And the dumplings were ok but I didn't eat many of them. They were my least favorite. I would come back to enjoy coffee and breakfast, but doubt I come back for dinner.

I'm a big fan of lighter-roasted, funky, expressive coffees, and Black & White absolutely delivers. Their roasting style leans into vibrant, fruit-forward profiles, and they do it with confidence. The downtown Raleigh location is fantastic too. It's right in the middle of everything, making it a great stop for a date night, meeting up with friends, or just dropping in for a quick but exceptional cup. Their seasonal menu was small but mighty -- just a couple of options -- but the kind where every drink looks so good you wish they'd never rotate them off the menu. I started with the orange cardamom flat white, and it was perfect in every way. Beautifully presented and incredibly balanced. The espresso, milk, orange, and cardamom all complemented each other without any one flavor taking over. It was nuanced, aromatic, and just a joy to drink. For my second drink, I ordered a Rodrigo Sanchez pour-over, a co-fermented Colombian coffee labeled with passion fruit notes. It was everything I want from a pour-over -- bright, juicy, and expressive, with the kind of sweet stone fruit and berry notes that make light-roasted coffee so exciting. Black & White continues to prove why they're one of the most respected specialty roasters around. If you love adventurous coffee with huge flavor and careful execution, this place is an absolute must-visit.
