I ate one before I remembered to take a picture

Those doughnuts are awesome. Prior to this visit, I had only ever had the original glazed Krispy Kreme doughnut. To my delight, they actually have much better flavours, such as the "Chocolate Iced Custard Filled" and the "Caramel Kreme Crunch", both stuffed with fillings that ooze out as soon as you take your first bite. This new location is also very cute and clean. And yes, I know these things will kill me. But are they any worst than half the other treats I eat, like chocolate-almond filled croissants? Probably not. 99 cents per doughnut. No tax if you buy a half-dozen. Not that I would buy 6 doughnuts for myself or anything. That would be ridiculous.

Today was their grand opening and I got a free coffee mug - woot woot - you get an extra star for that KK. The store is really clean and everyone working there was very friendly, but it's definitely not for me.... I should mention that I don't really like KK donuts.. I think they're too greasy to be enjoyable. I prefer a cakier donut. (Note: I did try a bite of a raspberry-filled and aside from the grease factor, it did have a good jam-to-donut ratio. They're definitely not chinsy with the donut extras). I had a small coffee for 99 cents, which I thought was a great deal! However, it was the weakest 'bold' coffee I've ever had. No flavour - not very good, not very strong at all. I also thought it was cute that they're trying to be 'healthy' with some fresh fruit and energy bars ... you're not fooling anyone KK....

I've been here a handful of times and I guess I've never gotten around to writing this review. This location is just a cafe. They have the standard menu of items but they don't make the doughnuts here. So don't wait around for a sign to light up in the window for you to run in and get a fresh glazed 'nut off the production line. Though the doughnuts aren't made on site, they're still fresh and delicious. A while back there was a Groupon (or similar company) that offered a free dozen glazed doughnuts. I accepted the deal and promptly ate the dozen all to myself. The next day I weighed myself and I was down two pounds. SO TAKE THAT!

A dozen for $13 taxed in. Mix of original and specialty donuts

Soft donuts for a good price. I relish the few locations in Toronto because donuts have become such a hype that the new donut stores often overcharge. My favourite is still the original. The dozen of donuts plus an iced coffee costed a little over $13 which is really affordable. The customer service was not great but the location had some tables available and is nicely situated beside a jimmys coffee which is a good place to go afterwards or pair with your donut.

Sometimes having too many varieties makes for a tough decision.

If you can overcome the extra sweetness, all else is a pleasure. Light and fluffy. Just melts in your mouth!

I love Krispy Kream and it's the only one in Toronto. It was easy enough to find and it was great friendly service..

They still make good doughnuts! Plus it's the only one in the Toronto I think. The one in Mississauga is far for me.

    Review Highlights - Krispy Kreme

They aren't made fresh on site due to the fact that it's a cafe, but I'm okay with that because the quality is still there.

The Short Version: California style donuts, big and fluffy…read more I'm a fan. The Long Version: So Harry and Heels is a donut shop inside the Fourth Man in the Fire Pizzeria. The founder is the same (he's also the founder of the Burger's Priest). Their donuts are also available at Farm Boy, even as far east as Ottawa, which is actually where I tried them (since sadly the last time I was in Toronto, was before the business was founded). I tried the Chocolate Cream Filled ($3.99) which is a big fluffy yeast donut with chocolate on top and is filled with whipped cream. It's like a round eclair, lol. The layer of chocolate was thick, which I liked. The amount of whipped cream inside was also good, not stingy. These donuts are big and substantial, yet so soft. I'm a fan. I'm looking forward to trying other flavours, likely just at Farm Boy for the near future, but hopefully at their store in Toronto in the not too distant future. Review #3 (2026)

Ordered: Apple Fritter (CAD ~$5)…read more Aya's take: Located inside the pizzeria, Harry & Heels is cranking out California-style donuts. As someone who lived in California for 4 years, I will say these are better than the donuts I had there. We only tried the Apple Fritter which isn't usually my go-to but I'm very glad we tried it. It's crisp and sweet on the outside yet unbelievably soft and fluffy on the inside! The apple flavor is mild and could be a bit more pronounced, in my opinion. It's super airy and less dense than I expected which made this so easy to inhale. It didn't even make it out the door! Super friendly staff and tasty donuts!
