Unfortunately I will have to leave a review after my experience. Please read this before arriving. This place looks abandoned. No signs on, no lights on, and signs on the doors that say "drive thru only." According to other reviews it's been this way over a year now. Talk about killing the experience of going to an actual Krispy Kreme. They didn't have several options ready nor did they offer to have me wait to get them. They simply said we don't have those right now. I typically can look past this as I know supply chain issues can be a factor, however, paired with everything else, I can tell this is just a store issue. $18 for a dozen donuts that are TINY (far smaller than they used to be and much smaller than other shops) and losing the normal experience of going into a Krispy Kreme and getting hot fresh donuts is gone here. Instead you drive through a drive lane with over grown grass and order donuts from a screen. I pass 4 donuts places to get here and all provide 10x better service, I can go inside, they don't look run down, and the price is a fraction of the cost, and the donuts are bigger. It was time for my Bible study to discuss 1 John 1 and we decided to meet here. I saw a lot. I'll give you the details. K.K is well maintained. They have a nice spacious clean parking lot. We walked up and saw a handful of workers standing by the door. It was kind of awkward. I thought there was something wrong. They just wanted to greet us. That was nice. There was a wet sign that made me nervous. My friend is elderly and I was afraid she was going to slip and fall. The rest of the restaurant is clean. They have real nice, young, tiny, Hispanic girl who looks like she's never had a Donut in her life that working there! Lol. She had a servants heart. She was ready to serve and was very understanding. Krispy Kreme has a variety of Donuts to choose from. They have mini ones too! I saw a Banana Pudding Donut, a Strawberry Donut and many others. I want to share my frustration with what feels like a very deceiving promotion. On Saturday, I was given a receipt and asked to complete a survey with the promise of receiving one dozen free donuts. After completing the survey, I received a code (02367) and was told I could use it for my free dozen. This morning, I went through the drive-thru, placed my order, and mentioned I had the code. When I got to the window, the clerk insisted I had to pay because the promotion was actually "buy one, get one free." At no point--neither on Saturday nor during the survey--was this condition ever mentioned. Not only was this misleading, but it feels like a bait-and-switch tactic to get reviews. It's frustrating and disappointing to be told one thing only to find out later that the "reward" wasn't what was promised. I went to Krispy Cream over by westworth and the service sucked! First I sat in the drive through line for 10 min with no service so I went in ands no one was there finally a women came out on the phone ignored me went and helped someone that just came through the drive through. I stood there for about 15 min before she acknowledged me when she did she called a guy who was laying down in the booth over to help me. Hit or miss with this one. I've come multiple times where the lobby is closed and they are "drive thru only". Krispy Kreme is an experience and part of that is going inside.
