Ice cream on cookies? Yes! Open late? Yes! We walked in after having dinner at bbq chicken and were wanting dessert. The smell of warm, freshly baked cookies hits us. We got the cookies n dream ice cream with a chocolate chunk. We also ordered triple chocolate deluxe and s'mores but only got a regular chocolate chunk. Looks like she was a new hire. Luckily we got the s'mores after letting her know we didn't get it. But I guess we'll have to come back to try the triple chocolate deluxe. The double chocolate one was way too much chocolate for me though. read more

I ONLY advise you to get cookies and nothing else. The chocolate chip cookie I had was amazing! Hits every factor I desire from a cookie. Warm, crisp outside, chewy dense inside, and plenty of flavor. Everything else is crap. Terrible service from college kids who are working a dead end job, sterile white environment thats not meant to hang out in, and the location is a nightmare to try to park without paying money or wait a long time for other cars and people to pass. I made the mistake of getting ice cream with my cookie and I regret it. The ice cream here barely has any flavor, other than the cream and sugar aspect of the birthday cake flavor I ordered. read more

4*: b|c the minis are ONLY chocolate chip. (Didn't get.) And 4 cookies + 2 icings = $17.xx. But that icing was delicious tho! (I'm a bit torn on this rating, as nothing was technically wrong here - only my expectation, so i may change to 5 stars.) TBH, 7-11 cookies are just as good, imo, and are 2\$1. The selection here seemed sparse to me. FUN FACT: i used to work downtown Dallas in the tunnels where there was a Mrs Fields cookies store. Over 20 years ago. The service was amazing. I had called this bakery twice. The girl that answered, I told her that our cookies didn't arrive warm because the Door dash driver had left them outside our front porch. She said that she would send them out again. Which she did, our second time was phenomenal they arrived warm and fresh! Disorganized to say the least. We waited 20 minutes with 3 people in-front of us (no one behind us) and when it was finally our turn he said he wouldn't sell me two of the same cookie because their too busy. I say okay and try to get a mini pack and told me I'd have to wait 20 minutes without even asking me the flavor. Just a very disappointing first and last experience. Hopefully the only cookie I got tastes better than it looks. (Sides are rock hard and top looks dry) read more

The cookies were just OK. I got the chocolate chip and peanut butter. These aren't hard to make or mess up but for $1.50 each, I expected to have a "Wow!" reaction. I didn't. Again, they were good cookies, but honestly I'd just as soon go across the street and get 3 Subway cookies for much much cheaper. I'd say these cookies may be worth $1.00 each but no more. Also, the selection was nothing extraordinary. There were the basics with a couple "extras" added. But the 2 or 3 "extra" cookies were even more expensive. I won't be returning here for cookies. There are way better options for the price. read more

I love Insomnia and was so excited to see that they expanded outside of NY. 4 stars because the little dippers say "ice cream" as the dipping sauce- even says it on the box- but it is not ice cream. This place is the mix of the TCU crowd...which totally makes sense! Who wouldn't need a warm and delicious cookie to stay up and write a paper?! Really bad service. The workers were not friendly at all. Had to make a mobile order, but was suppose to be ready at 8 and ended up waiting an extra 30 minutes, because they didn't even start preparing it until 8:20. They kept telling us they were making it but never were. Not a great experience. read more

The cookies were pretty good and warm but next time I'd just make them myself. They weren't like truly amazing or anything just pretty average. You get 6 cookies for 11$ after they cool down they're like anything you'd find in a Walmart bakery almost. Also it took like 10-15 minutes for the dude vacuuming in the back to come and help after we were *politely* shouting if anyone was in there. We would've left if I wasn't on an important phone call with time to burn. I will say the employee was super nice and he separated the 3 cookies my bf ordered on one side and my 3 on the other. Maybe they just need two people in there. read more

The moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm, sunshine-filled space that smelled absolutely divine--fresh, homemade waffle cones baking and filling the room with happiness. The staff welcomed us with genuine smiles and even offered samples (yes please!), which made choosing a flavor both fun and deliciously difficult. After a few tastes, I landed on Sweet Cream and Cookie Crush--and wow. The sweet cream was classic and comforting, instantly reminding me of my grandmother's homemade ice cream. The cookie crush brought bold flavor: rich, house-made dark chocolate cookies folded into salty vanilla ice cream. The perfect balance of sweet, salty, and indulgent. Pros: Warm and happy aesthetic, heavenly cone smells, and super friendly staff. Cons: The inside is a bit small with limited seating--but during warmer days, the outdoor patio offers plenty of space to enjoy your scoop. I will absolutely be returning to Melt.
