Great selection of donuts, and everything tasted fresh. I decided to try the jalapeño cheese kolache along with a glazed donut, mainly to compare it to a local small business shop. Overall, it was just okay--nothing particularly exciting. The flavors didn't quite stand out, and I was hoping for something more memorable. The staff were fine, but nothing exceptional in terms of service. Personally, I would prefer to support smaller local businesses, especially since I've had better-tasting options elsewhere. I wouldn't return, simply because it didn't meet my expectations in terms of flavor. In terms of price 50cents+ more than your local shop for all items. Thankyou ! read more

Service: 2 star AT BEST!! Spent $50 1dz donuts, 1/2dz kolaches, 2 cinnarolls, 1 Boston creme. I simply asked (maybe20yr old) employee for a couple of donuts holes for my elderly father was told No freebies, NO MILITARY, SENIOR OR AARP DISCOUNTS......GIVEN. wow was my reaction then I was told its inflation, I responded its good customer service. I was told its INFLATION. Fresh and tasty donuts. Beware it's hard not to eat just one. We got a dozen assorted and ate them all same day.

We love this quick and easy donut shop. My kids love the Oreo donuts, strawberry sprinkle donuts , glazed donuts. I personally like the apple fritters, maple long johns and cinnamon twist. The service is always fast, friendly and helpful. Maybe atmosphere reminds me of being a kid. This location has some nostalgia to it. read more

Never EVER have I come by this place and was greeted with a smile let alone fresh donuts. I'm from Houston so when I moved here I was excited to find this location so close to me only to find cold hard donuts. And f you ask for warm ones it's like asking for a kidney. Woah! The donuts tasted like straight up air. I bought donut holes and after having a rather awkward conversation on whether or not they had a variety of donut holes (since it wasn't clearly shown on the menu) I tried ONE. I've had Shipley many a time and even mid day, the donuts were fresh or made for you if they had been sitting out too long. It's a hard pass. Won't be back here! read more

Passing by around 3:49 p.m. on a Thursday afternoon I had a hankering for something sweet and cakey. I saw Shipley's on my way home from running errands and thought to myself that they could satisfy my sweet tooth. Ooooooh! I could hardly wait! I parked, got out of my car and headed straight to the door. And.....the doors were locked! '=[ I looked around searching for some kind of signing explaining the reason for the locked doors. There were none except for a large neon sign that read "OPEN" and the days and hours of operation on the door I was trying to open. They have continued to raise the prices with no notification. It is ridiculous. Twice this year I have gone and the prices has gone up. The Shipleys in Forest Hills prices are cheaper. $2 for 1 bag of donut holes is too much. read more

Wow it's Christmas Eve and we seriously pulled up at 1:01 and they would not serve us in the drive thru! Mind you not even attempting to go in and nobody would have known if we were waiting or not. The crappy part is they were putting doughnuts in a box for somebody else and there were soooo many doughnuts sitting there to be sold. What a waste of an opportunity to be a decent human being and instead they chose to be the opposite way to have the Christmas spirit. No star needs to be an option here.......Check there price they have overcharged me five different time, if your register is broke don't keep using it! A donzen mixed donuts shouldn't be 24 dollars that's common sense. if a Patron comes back in and keeps telling you these issue and you don't say sorry just here you go... well that means BAD management... So when you find the owner/management a few days Later on another overcharging problem and they roll their eyes and make stupid faces, the register might not be an accident.. I been here 13 times confirmed by Bank, and had five issue that I've caught that is more then an issue. If you get 4 items and they screw that up well that's it... just drive another few miles to someone else because this place is like used Car lot... prices change on everything once they hit the register and well they run the card for something different too so if you like Russian roulette with your food and don't care if someone rips you off come HERE... it's the DICKS of donut restaurant for all those yelpers who get that reference please visit other donuts shops until they can fix these problems read more

This morning I went to get a dozen donuts for my team. When I arrived there was a car in front of me in the drive thru that I waited behind 10+ mins. I was assumptive that they were waiting for donuts to be made fresh considering the cashier kept returning to the window to update the person. When I get to the window, a different cashier opens the window. I ordered a dozen glazed donuts and was told they do not have any made. I was fine with this because I prefer hot donuts anyway, so I said okay and asked the cashier how long would the wait be. The response was a stressed "ohhhhhhh a long time". I told her that I was fine with waiting considering I had already waited 10+ mins behind the previous car and I was late already. She asked if I was going to pay now because it was going to take a "long time". I asked her how long and she said 10 minutes. I told her again I was fine with waiting and after reviewing her body language and considering the interaction and her question regarding my likelihood to pay, she really did not want to take my order. I told her it's okay I will try somewhere else. I would not recommend this place. You would think that if you are out of a donut, you would offer what you do have available or apologize. Change your box it ruins my donut topping. Beware! They didn't tell me they charge for a flat box for a dozen when you ask. Clean & bright store. Friendly people. Donut dough close to croissant donut. Wonderful! read more
