After school, I drove my daughters to Krispy Krunchy Chicken (KKC) conveniently located inside a Circle K food mart at a gas station in Hesperia. I thought it was a full service restaurant at first (prior to coming here), but it isn't at least not at this location. It was like a chicken stand with a heating bin LOL. Anyway, since we were here and we wanted to try KKC, we ended up ordering 3 chicken boxes either with leg and thigh or breast and wing plus one biscuit. Some of the chicken pieces were very tiny and I mean tiny LOL. The lady offered to give us two drumsticks and count as 1 piece. I was good with that. Thank you! The chicken flavor was good, but thought chicken was dry. I mean... what do you expect from a heating bin and it was late in the afternoon early evening timeframe. Biscuit was moist though. Price was a tad pricey for a 2 piece + biscuit. We didn't buy any drinks or anything else. Just came here for the chicken. Will we be back for more KKC? Well, probably not here, but we'll try the chicken again at a full service restaurant... I believe there are some in existence... just need to search for them. so far is one of the best fried chicken I've had and on top of that their sauce is pretty freaking good

I've ordered several time from this KKC. Keep in mind, this is not a restaurant. The fried chicken is precooked and displayed in a glass case at the till in the petrol station. The orders come with a biscuit and you can purchase additional side like fries, etc. Pricing is fairly reasonable and the flavor is somewhat different but acceptable. Not my first choice if I have a taste for fried chicken. But, will do if no other option is immediately available. read more

DON'T GO!! I have been here twice- the second time was only because the chicken is not bad (and the only Halal chicken place in the high desert). First time the customer service experience was overall weird and uncomfortable and the second time was even worse. They messed up my order and to fix it refunded the wrong partial amount and charged me twice to fix the mistake. Before processes the refund they ask Nav or Nova (don't know his name) If they would just override it since it was their mistake, they charged me for the wrong items, he refused (If he's the manager, he definitely needs to be trained because his attitude is terrible and has not customer service skills. I don't think he's been trained to be a manager he's just been given the title). We will not be back. Got home, looked at my food and +$45 later for 7 pieces of chicken later THEY STILL GOT MY ORDER WRONG read more

This is a late review. I drove out of my way to this KKC Hesperia location because I loved the two Bay Area spots I used to frequent when I lived up there. I was incredibly disappointed for my troubles. Not only was there only a few dried up pieces of chicken and potato wedges sitting under a heat lamp, but their equipment was down until further notice and they had no other sides available. To make matters worse, the two attendants acted like I was bothering them when I asked them about everything. There was no sorry for the inconvenience, no offer of a discount...just take it or leave it. So since I came so far to get it, I got an order and was sorry I wasted my money. The chicken here really is super crunchy! Not much in terms of ambiance, you order your food to go. Even already being ready fried, the chicken and wedge fries were fresh and delicious! Prices and portions are fair and they have a good variety of sauces available. I enjoyed the honey mustard. Great option if you are craving fried chicken in the area. read more

I should always check my food before I leave. They forgot my side of Mac n cheese. I got the Krispy shrimp but they were not cooked all the way, still soggy. Also sad to find out that after getting a $12 meal that does not include a drink, you have to pay .35 for sauce if you want more than one. Next time I'll try the chicken I guess. read more

This is the Best fried Chicken in the High Desert . We found this chain down in San Diego and the chicken is great. So glad they brought the chain up here. I ordered an order fir pick up and it was hot crispy and good tasting. I would definitely recommend this to family and friends. read more

While the chicken is tasty, their service is the worse! II came here two months ago and the same thing happen today. You want to order a chicken only deal and when you ask for mix chicken, they say there's none. They won't even offer to put in an order. The associate basically says oh we don't have any. So then I ask for the 12 piece dark meat and associate says looks at catering dish and says there's only 10 without an option to order any more. Really not helpful. Too early in the day to say they ran out of supplies. Pure laziness. Whoever owns this business, you need more reliable staff, at least ones that are willing to cook the chicken-- it is a chicken place right? You're losing potential business and $$. read more

One thing I can't stand is you walk into an establishment with outside PR advertising for a certain product, in this case chicken. You are a convenience store with no competition around. I walk in and you say you are out of chicken with the attitude of don't ask us to make it either by dissuading me with it will take 20 minutes. 1st thing should have been an apology for not having product on hand. Cruising around Yelp looking for chicken tenders, happened upon Krispy Krunchy Chicken. Quick drive, could smell chicken before I even parked my truck. Quick, simple, in and out within 5 minutes. Was I skeptical about gas station chicken? Maybe, but you won't know till you try. Got home, dug in and was happily impressed. Sauces are an amazing compliment to such tasty chicken.
