She then took my order and totally made me feel welcomed. I got a 2-piece Fish Meal. My choice of sides were Fries and Corn on the cob. As always I'm completely honest, so I will say the fish fillets I received were about half the size of what I ever remember getting. But, it's been years since I was able to visit any Captain D's AND things have changed drastically since then! The fish was delicious, no change in crispness or taste. The hush puppies excellent. Fries and corn just right. I've gotta mention Lisa again! She is a whirlwind of activity! Her multi-tasking really impressed me. She was taking orders at the register AND from the drive-through! Talking to customers face to face and in their cars. She came out to clean and tidy up the dining area. She double-checked diners desires. She was the epitome of polite! They smelled very good but when I got the chicken tasted kind of rubbery and the egg rolls were very overdone. Overdone to the point that the goodies inside were practically melted. It was very tasteless. They could've offered packets of sauce or some sauce to pour egg roll and that would've made it a little bit more flavorful, but I had to scrape them because they were so overdone. The rice was but the they put all over the rice was so much that it overpowered everything and you really couldn't taste the food itself. The chicken was a little hard like it had also been overcooked just a bit too much. I mean, I tried to place one time and I may give it another chance but at this point no because I've quite oriental restaurants and gotten better food and you could actually taste the flavors. The only thing I could say on a positive part is that was just one dish people may like that kind of texture and and maybe they should try other dishes and request they not be cooked so long. We were greeted by very nice people. What you do is you look at the menus on the wall or they have them next to the register where you can open them and look. You order there at the counter, there's free refills on the iced tea or if you wanted a soda or water or something different, you buy those in the bottles or cans. After we placed our order, we were seated in an empty dining room, but that's because it was very early when we got there. The place looked very clean and there was a woman working wiping tables down and making sure everything was clean and every table had salt, pepper and napkins. We were seated in a corner booth and our food came out very quickly. We were maybe seated five minutes. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and my Husband ordered the mac & cheese Brisket roll up. His came with french fries as well. The mac & cheese brisket rollup was very delicious. The french fries were cooked to a crispy golden color just the right shade. However, my quesadilla was a bit dry. I think if a thin slice of cheese were added to it, and I know this is a barbecue place, but a thin slice of cheese would have held the chunks of chicken onto the quesadilla. As it was, I had to hold it with both hands so that the meat wouldn't spill out everywhere. It was very good and I was able to bring a couple home for my lunch tomorrow. You get a pretty good amount of food for the price that you pay. And as I said before, you can get as many refills of tea as you want, there's no limit. Also, when you enter, there's a big showcase of all kinds of little knickknacks for sale. They have artwork on their walls that are for sale and some of them are quite beautiful. Another interesting thing is that in October they're going to have an Australian dance team with very sexy men dancing on stage. They have an outside seating area and the stage is located outback as well. Ladies, if you'd like to see muscular men who are well sculpted and can gyrate you might want to attend that lol. They also have live music. After the dancing hotties, they have midget wrestling that is scheduled and I've posted pictures of both of those with the dates. I apologize if the picture came out upside down. I don't know how that happened. But they have something going on all the time. I do recommend them if you haven't been I would definitely give them a chance. It's a great barbecue place. The food is good. The employees are great and they treat you like they've known you forever. I recommend them and we will probably go back. I think it would be very interesting to see the dancers as well as the midget wrestling. So come on out give this place a try, great food great fun and great people.

Also had an order of a "little" Cajun Fries- and if you've been to one of these restaurants before, you know it's anything but little! The cashier was very attentive, verified my order and a short time later they were calling my number . There was good music playing-well let me say it's good music for people who don't listen to a lot of current music-but it was a little cool inside the restaurant. Both the sandwich and the fries were excellent. They have one of those soda machines where you can make 70 million combinations, so I had a Minute Maid grape. I wasn't feeling that adventurous! Overall, this is a nice experience and if I am in the area again, I would have no problem returning.
