I'm only giving this place two stars because I can respect the fact that I had good experiences…read morehere years ago. It used to be a favorite of my dad's, and whenever I came to visit, we would always stop in. I had heard it had gone downhill, but I decided to give it another shot because I always enjoyed the food. Unfortunately, what I experienced this last visit was disheartening and unprofessional. Last week, I ordered a couple of meals with plenty of time to pick them up before a football game. When I arrived, the girl behind the counter asked the cook if the order was ready, and he said no. The two of them then got into an argument in front of customers about when she was supposed to press a button in the system to notify Grubhub that the food was ready. Very uncomfortable and unprofessional. They apologized and told me they hadn't even started the food yet, so it would be another 15-20 minutes. I waited patiently in my car, went back in, and the food was finally hot, so I rushed home. Once I opened my meal, I realized they gave me the wrong order. Instead of the ziti and eggplant meal I ordered, they gave me plain baked ziti -- and it was very dry. I called immediately, and the girl told me they could remake it, but only if I drove all the way back. After already waiting an extra 20 minutes, I asked if there was another option. She said they could offer a gift certificate, but only when the manager returned. She promised the manager would call me. I never heard from anyone. The next day I called again and was told the manager wouldn't be in until Wednesday. I waited, and Wednesday came and went with no follow-up at all. For a $20 order, the situation could have been handled so easily. Instead, I listened to staff arguing, received the wrong meal, and then got zero accountability or customer service afterward. They even tried to blame the Grubhub system until they finally admitted they could see I did order eggplant and ziti. What happened to simply taking care of the customer? We've been coming here for years, but after this experience, we won't be back. Plenty of other Italian restaurants know how to treat people better.

The service was immediate and one of the big wigs came and asked what we thought. The portions adequate and plated well. Overall a nice place for a classic Italian family style dinner with ambience. Tatiana, our server, gave high end service focusing on our taste. All staff contributed to a soothing experience.

We had dinner at La Bella Napoli this evening with a 5:30 reservation. We arrived around 5:20 and…read morestill waited about 15-20 minutes for a table, which probably speaks to both the restaurant's popularity and its biggest drawback: the dining room is simply too small for the amount of business they do. We both ordered the Veal alla Siciliana, with veal, eggplant, and ham. The dish was well prepared, and the kitchen did a nice job getting everything out promptly. The sauce was good, although I've had comparable or better Italian food at Argento's, and I personally prefer a thicker, richer sauce. Overall, though, the entrée was enjoyable and reasonably priced for what you receive. The extra charges were harder to understand. My fiancée had the house salad with blue cheese, while I ordered a Caesar and was charged extra for the Caesar itself and again for anchovies. By the time the upcharges were added, the salad was around $8. We also paid extra to substitute angel hair pasta. Considering angel hair is hardly a premium pasta compared with spaghetti, penne, or fettuccine, that seems unnecessary. These relatively small charges add up and detract from what otherwise feels like a fair-value restaurant. The fresh-baked rolls were very good--light and fluffy and particularly enjoyable with the seasoned olive oil. I had a Pepsi, although unfortunately it was somewhat flat. The highlight of the evening was the service. Anna was outstanding: friendly, attentive, efficient, and helpful, including boxing our leftovers. Our tip reflected how pleased we were with her service. The atmosphere is where La Bella Napoli struggles most. Tables are packed closely together, the chairs aren't especially comfortable, and the restaurant can get extremely noisy. Tonight included a crying baby, and with such a small room there really isn't anywhere for the sound to go. If you enjoy a lively, crowded family restaurant, that may not bother you. If you prefer a quieter, more relaxed Italian dinner, this probably isn't the atmosphere you're looking for. Our total for two, including tip, was roughly $80-$85. I also noticed the suggested tip percentages on the bill now extend as high as 30%. That's certainly becoming a trend, but 30% as a suggested gratuity feels excessive. There are plenty of positives. The restaurant appeared clean, the staff was consistently friendly, the menu offers a tremendous amount of variety, and the kitchen handled a busy dining room efficiently. It's also good to see a local, family-style establishment doing a strong business, including what appeared to be considerable takeout traffic. Overall, La Bella Napoli serves reasonably good Italian food, with a diverse menu at a fair basic price, with excellent service, but the numerous upcharges and especially the cramped, noisy dining room take away from the experience. Perhaps their success has simply outgrown the space. A larger dining room with more comfortable spacing would make a substantial difference and double their business. Overall: Good quality food, excellent service, fair value--but crowded, noisy, and a few too many little upcharges.

What's funny is that when they rang us up and just stood there wait for me to sign and when I tipped 10% of my order, the lady rolled her eyes and proceeded to get my food packed up. Probably the reason why my food took about 18 minutes to pack up. But it's carry out, why would you expect to tip when you are not serving? And since it's carry out, I didn't get the complimentary house salad and bread like the dine in.

Called AJ and complaint because for a $15.99 cheese pizza I felt ripped off. I am not into toppings, I just like a plain cheese pizza but that doesn't mean I should expect less or this kind of poor quality and quantity pizza. I can't say I hate the pizza flavor, but whatever the excuse is, correct it by saying..Sorry your pizza was not what it supposed to be, I'll take care of you by offering a discount or something to make up for the foul up. That is customer service and shows you care and you corrected the mistake. Don't try to sugar coated by making excuses twice in a row. Correct the mistake! All these pictures I see here and on your website are nothing real from the pizzas I have purchased there. The pizzas have been smaller than a 16 inch. The excuse from AJ was the dough shrunk and he didn't saw it, too busy for quality and quantity consistency. Dude you are ripping people off by not giving your customers what they expected. A 16 inch pizza should be a 16 inch pizza you are a business not a child's play kitchen be professional! Don't make excuses and say you didn't saw it. If your employee or who ever made the pizza saw that it was not the right size, then you or your employee should had made another and correct it or offer me something like garlic rolls to make up for the mishap if your dough shrunk. I have owned different businesses and the way you handled the complaint is very unprofessional. When you apologize, show you mean it. I did not ask for a refund, but at the least you could have done something to try to correct the situation. I am very disappointed because the way this was handled and the poor quality of your product. This is poor customer service and practice
