I looked at it and did not see a price on the item. I decided to leave and then I met Simon on the way out. He asked if anything interested me. I asked him if he could let me know the price of the amethyst. He opened the cabinet and let me look at the piece. He said for you ... it's $$$. He was funny and full of character. The price was okay. The service was great. A short conversation later, I decided to pick it up. The store has a treasure trove type vibe. Full of antiques and interesting items for sale. Most items do not have prices on them so buyer beware. You need to have some knowledge of what you will pay for items before you enter. Jeff, Owner/ designer of McWhinney Design, picked up the phone. After a quick discussion, he sent me the sizing rings (very important step). I sent him the information he needed to get started. In less than three weeks I had an extremely comfortable ring that fit over my fat knuckles and locks into place on my finger. I terrorize my hands daily with food products, soaps and degreasers, Brillo pads... even paint. After a quick polish with the included cleaning cloths, it shines like new. I couldn't be happier...
