We had already purchased another home that fit our needs better, especially being single story, so we needed to get our current home sold fast. Jason helped us not only purchase our new home, but also created a strong game plan to get our existing property sold quickly and for top dollar. From the beginning, we trusted Jason's pricing strategy, marketing plan, and experience. His marketing created immediate attention around the home and brought in multiple buyers right away. We officially went on the market on a Friday, received multiple offers almost immediately, negotiated and countered several offers, and accepted an offer by Wednesday. By Friday morning, we were fully sold and in escrow. The entire process from listing to getting the home sold happened in less than three days. To this day, we have never heard of a home selling that quickly from offer accepted to getting it closed. Jason told us that in all his years in real estate, he had never seen a home move that fast either. Him and his team truly worked miracles to make it happen, and we are beyond grateful for their communication, hard work, and dedication throughout the process.     First: If you are a tenant and have to work with RPL (as it's the property owner's choice) DO NOT…read moreLET THEM DRAFT YOUR ACCOUNT! Their accounting department is negligent and drafted our account for rent TWO MONTHS after we'd vacated the property. When I called to tell her (Shannon) that she'd overdrafted my account AGAIN she was very blasé about it saying it was "just a mistake" and that it was "unacceptable" that I was upset about it. Having lived in the Santa Ynez Valley for two years, I'm well aware of the fact that it's a small place and you don't have a lot of options when it comes to certain business services. As a result, you sometimes will find yourself having to work with Service providers that may not provide a level of service you expect or hope for. Having said that, I still find myself surprised that RPL property Management is still in business. From their accounting to their property managers, they are something very short of professional and are definitely not what I would consider to be responsible custodians for the properties they manage. We rented a home that was managed by Sylvia at RPL. We hadn't rented in a long time but we treated that property as our own - doing a lot of repairs and small fixes ourselves. However, when something would come up that was beyond our scope as tenants, we would reach out to Sylvia and our calls and/or emails would go unresponded to for a full day and sometimes two- leading us to sometimes reach out to the property owner directly- particularly when it was something that could negatively affect the house. At that point one has to wonder: what exactly is the service the property manager is paying for? There is a lot more to our negative experience with RPL but I'll leave it there as the Yelp format lends itself better to brevity but I'll wrap up with this: you are better off using a company out of Lompoc, Santa Maria or Goleta than resorting to RPL to manage your property. I've been in real estate for 6 years and both manage my own property and have hired property managers and I have never seen a company as unprofessional in this field as RPL.
