I will never go back again. They shrunk my $200 cashmere sweater and told me sometimes the sweaters will shrink "a little bit" after cleaning. Well, it wasn't a little bit, it was 3 sizes down from a LARGE to an EXTRA SMALL. And I was told to come back with a sample sweater another day so they can use as a reference to fix it. I told them I don't have time to come back and I need my sweater to be fixed today. But the owner lady said "well it would only take 30 mins. You can drop it off and go somewhere for 30 mins and come back to pick it up." Like my time doesn't worth anything. I've been a loyal customer for years and I didn't even get an apology. After going for 7 years, service has gone downhill. Clothing lost, zippers are not useable and blame the clothing for defects after cleaning. Spent over $100 for repairs to clothing. That only wipes out the savings for cheap dry cleaning. read more

I took my outfit 1 month ago and got charged $14.95 and same outfit I took today and she is charging $21.95. I told her what she charged me last time and showed her receipt. She said they have different pricing changing for all items. I told her my outfit should be charged the same but she said no. Different prices different months. My other friend said they didn't even do a good job for what she gave. So I do not recommend. Plus her English is not good so has difficulty understanding. read more

Do not go here. Rude people. I went there twice & I will NEVER go again. I thought my 1st time it was a decent place. 2nd time I went, the price went up $30 dollars within a 2 month range for my comforter to be dry cleaned. The Asian woman at the front is very very rude. She tried to make me feel like an idiot. I asked to speak to the manager & she would not let me. It went from $20 to $50. I went to pick it up & there were bugs on my comforter & new stains. I would not wish my experience with this place on anyone, even people I don't like. My fiancee purchased a brand new wedding dress from David's Bridal last weekend but it needed to be shorten. I called Kristi's because I've had pants altered there and knew they could turn it around in a few days. I asked them how much it would cost and they told me they need to look at it so I need to bring it in. Fair enough. I brought it in and they inspected it and told me it would cost me $40 and they could have it done by next Wed. Then after they completed the measurements for the alterations, they told me it cost $50 because the dress has 3 layers and they only estimated 2 originally. I was not happy because that was their mistake and not mine but I didn't want to make a big deal out of $10. I said ok. We went to pick it up today and my fiancee tried on the dress to make sure it was altered correctly. We noticed there was a tiny but noticeable brown stain on the dress. We asked Cindi about the stain and was surprised by her response. She said you asked to have the dress altered and pressed but not dry cleaned. We can dry clean it for you if you want. I said the dress was brand new when I brought it in and the stain was definitely not there. She then said you probably stained it while trying on the dress so many times. She said it is your fault. She was very rude about it too. I just took the dress and left that place. I cannot recommend this place to my worst enemy. The stain itself ended up not being a big deal as I managed to remove it with a steamer but Cindi's very unprofessional attitude is the worst customer service I have experienced in a very long time. I brought in a king-sized comforter for dry-cleaning. It cost $40 and it took one week. When I picked it up, I noticed that the woman who brought my comforter to the counter was dragging the end of it on the floor. I didn't think too much about it since it was wrapped in plastic. Overall, she was rather nonchalant and unfriendly. When I got home, I inspected the comforter and found some surface dirt on it. I'm not talking about stains -- it was dirt you could wipe away with your hand. I I'm not sure what they did for $40 but they didn't clean it. Poor quality work and rude customer service. This is more like 3.5 stars, but I'm rounding down to three for now, based on my one experience. As far as cheap dry cleaning go - Kristi's for the win. I had two cotton jersey material dresses and a satin synthetic material skirt dry cleaned for $3 each. Not too bad at all considering I had to pay around $12 for one of the dresses at Holiday Cleaners. However all of the items had a bit of soiling - from cake icing to random food debris. I did try to point out these problem spots to the intake lady, but she was mostly dismissive and just nodded along. Yes, I know dry cleaning isn't exactly a deep fiber clean, but when i picked up my items - they all still had residual soiling. Bahhh! But they were in far better condition than before I submitted them. I think I'll likely be returning to Kristi's though until I find something better. Can't be the price! FYI, CASH ONLY. read more

I have been a good and regular customer to this place for many years. Today, I asked them to do a minor atypical task: I needed them to thread through a waist band through a pair of pants. This is straightforward to do, all one needs to do is link that waistband to a safety pin or something else that can be pushed through the circumference of the top of the pants. I could do this myself in about 10 minutes. But, I'm a busy professional and value my time, so I'd rather pay others to do tasks like this. To my surprise, Kristi's Cleaners refused to do this. They said they'd have to send it off to the "alteration lady" to have it done. This, a task requiring no alternation, a task that anyone with a little common sense could do within 10 minutes or so. They gave me the "Institutional No." Not good customer service. I am very disappointed. read more

This is as good as it gets. The last time I had dropped off laundry, John had offered to take care of it while I stayed in the car. So I took my hamper to the car, put it in the back seat and stopped here after picking up lunch from Don Roberto's. I pulled into the handicap slot and waited for John to notice me. He came up, took out the hamper with the hangers we take back to recycle. I gave him cash to pre-pay which he took in. I called him once he had the clothes sorted. There was dry cleaning and one shirt for laundry. John came back with the receipt and change. He put the hamper back and I drove off. Full service laundry. I have been coming here since 1998. WARNING! Heidi Gorbet the owner refused to accept responsibility for ruining my son's letter jacket. They obviously machine washed it and it is ruined. Everything white is now pink. The jacket is almost brand new, and this is the one and only time it's been cleaned. They said they can only reimburse me for $30. The jacket cost in excess of $300. About 18 months ago they lost 3 expensive mens dress shirts, but since that is the only real issue I had in 13 years of using this cleaners i figured that's a pretty good record and continued to use them. The manager told me she has 5 dry cleaning stores and that i should expect the colors to bleed into the white. She also said it's not that big a deal because her kids don't really wear their jackets anymore. I do NOT RECOMMEND this dry cleaners to anyone! They do not care that they have ruined my son't jacket! I have been a loyal customer for 15 years but will never use this cleaners again! read more

We have been loyal happy customers of Kristie's for over 20 years and always received great customer service. Unfortunately, it has come to an end. I purchased a new blouse and took it in to have it pressed. It came back with a long snag and a stain down the front of it. We waited over 3 weeks for the manager or owner to contact us. (I had provided the receipt to confirm that I just had purchased the blouse.) A manager contact us and instead of a calling first, they ordered a new blouse even though we told them we had already replaced it two weeks earlier. We arrived to speak with the manager and she fought and with us. Of course, blaming us for the damage on the blouse. She said, "We don't reimburse customers but only 10 or 20% of the amount, but I am told you are a long-standing customer." Her exact words arguing with us over and over again, "We are doing you a favor." Then she goes on to say, "We got it cheaper." In the end, angry, we did walk out with a full refund. Do not take anything here. First tried to get 1 comforter cleaned and they wanted to charge me $40. WTH! I can buy a brand new comforter for that price. Second try took a small leather jacket and a dress with a built-in collar chain. Before they could even tell me the price they keep saying they couldn't guarantee my jacket wouldn't peel or the chain wouldn't break. They keep saying we will do our best. Nah you won't. Even though I was given at least two week's notice before an event, I just had to make an easy thing hard. So there I was sitting in my car on a hot afternoon desperately calling every Sugar Land dry cleaner, looking for any that could possibly have my clothes ready before the following evening. After five or six attempts, Kristi's was the answer to my prayers. When I arrived under the Christmas-themed neon signs, they informed me that rush delivery would be an additional charge and I of course obliged. The damage: ~$6-7. Wait, what? There must've been some mistake, I thought. I quickly paid and got out of there feeling like Dillinger. As promised, my suit was ready the next day by 2 p.m. and I've been coming back ever since. There is no fee schedule posted, but from my experience, Kristi's is significantly less expensive than other places. This is a cash-only business, which helps keep costs down. So what keeps me from awarding this place that fifth star? The mini anxiety attack I have every time I pick up an order. For whatever reason, there always seems to be a customer whose order just doesn't want to go home. All of the paper receipts are kept on some sort of board on the wall and older receipts are filed in a giant scrapbook of sorts. Most of the issues I have overheard pertain to orders that have made the transition from the wall to the book. I thought I was bad about putting things off, but a lot of people apparently leave their clothes here for more than a month. On one occasion, I was given someone else's clothes in addition to my own. They clearly did not belong to me because that shirt is SO tacky. Who wears cheetah? But first, let me take a #selfie. One can never have too much good karma, so I returned the rogue garments. Alas, Kristi's is sorta kinda on my way to/from the office, has rush delivery available and does satisfactory work for much less than the competition. TBH, I'm just hoping they'll be more careful with my clothes because I don't know the difference between an AWESOME dry cleaners and a TERRIBLE one. I know for sure that they haven't really F-ed up any of my clothes - like you hear horror stories about how one dry cleaners F-ed up someone's clothes. And I imagine that's probably the worst feeling in the world - taking your clothes to get them cleaned and then find some huge rip in it or something. So I decided I couldn't wear the same shirt without washing it after like 10 wears (super careful wears) and didn't feel great when they gathered up all five Black Fleece shirts and my $1000 blazer and threw them into a bin but I just crossed my fingers...and picked them up the next day and they were fine. So again, I'm not sure what a 5 star WOOHOO! AS GOOD AS IT GETS! cleaner is-- actually I'm almost sure this doesn't exist so-- as long as my clothes are clean, I'm not dropping like $50 for a few items, I'm fine with it. read more

We had been going to this place for years. The service has gone so bad and I had shown to them several times. Definitely the dry clean is not done properly. Two of dresses, I kept some rice attached to it. It came back as it was Basically they are doing some light steam cleaning on the top and sending it back. When it returns back with the plastic cover, people are not noticing it clearly. Check the pants folds, they do not dry clean the upper side of any pants. The cleaners used to be good one way back but right now with the customers, it is a mass production with cheap chemicals. Please IMPROVE your service with good products and have someone really check it out. read more

I dropped off a new with price tag attached, very expensive dress that I was planning to sell. The dress had a small spot at the front chest. The worst dry cleaning service (the finished product itself) I have ever experienced. Please see attached photos. They repeatedly could not correctly press a men's button up shirt. Even after multiple re-do's, the items were pressed worse and worse with creases in various places on the shirts. Buttons on the collar were also cracked, horrible. The younger woman behind the counter was friendly but the other not so much as noted in other reviews. The chemical used is low quality because it leaves that awful shine on clothing. If you have basics like scrubs or items you don't mind being damaged or over processed, this is your place. read more

I find that their prices have gone up a lot! When I ask for a price list-so I can do some price comparison, the lady at the counter was not very nice and told me that they don't have one. Not sure if this is how all dry cleaners place operates but it's hard for us customers to know where to go if they don't have a price list so we can compare ahead of time. I am frustrated! read more

She's super friendly and always remembers me when I was super preggers lol! But I love the fact she remembers and asks how my baby is doing small things like that make us want to go back! Also, the price isn't bad either. We are happy we found a neighborhood cleaners that does a great job and has great customer service, also remember to bring cash when you pay. I usually go to $1.95 cleaners next door but decided to try Kristi's thinking it would be cheaper. The lady could not speak English and spelled my name wrong 3 times even when copying it from my driver's license. I was quoted $21 for 2 dresses, 1 sweater, and a pair of pants. I took the items straight to $1.95 cleaners and was charged $9 with fast, friendly service. I can't believe they were going to charge me DOUBLE for the exact same clothes. Ridiculous. read more

My family has been doing business with Kristi's for over 25 years. I personally have been going to them over 5 years but it stops today. I left them several pieces and when I picked up my items I noticed they told me they overcharged me for an item. I in turn told them I was missing an item. She asked me to be wait a week so she can check her camera to see if in fact I had left the item in question. After two weeks they called to say they did not have a return of the item so they are asking for more time. I said ok. I proceeded to tell her that the piece was newly purchased (1 month) and the cost I can produce a receipt to validate my claim. Again she asked for more time. Yesterday after 5 weeks Cindy and the manager called to tell me they have lost my item and store policy stays they cannot refund no more than 10 times the charge for cleaning it - which is $19. I was flabbergasted by her proposal and insult to how much I paid for my clothing. I will never do business with this company ever again and I will make sure to tell everyone I know not to also. This policy sucks, how can this be fair. There should be insurance in place to refund the cost of loss or damages to customers property while in their care. read more

Avoid this place by all means!!! I would give zero stars if I could... I brought in my wedding dressed to get dry cleaned and when I picked it up it was missing a bow and the sash around the waist (which was sewn on) was detached at the back. However, it gets worse. Not only was the employee (Allen) I spoke with exceptionally rude, he claimed that my dress was not damaged and that he would not compensate me for either the dry cleaning or the missing bow/damaged sash. I was furious and when I asked for the manager's name and if I could speak with her, he only gave me her first name, refused to give me her last name and said he would have her call me in a few days. Mind you, he had said that several times prior and I ended up having to call back for updates. After fighting tooth and nail, at the end a compromise was made (they would only pay for the damages, not the dry cleaning service), however it was the unprofessional manner in which Kristi's Cleaners conducted itself that infuriated me and therefore they will no longer have my business. read more

I dropped off my dry cleaning a few minutes after 8:00am on Friday. According to the sign it should of been ready the same day after 6:00, but the employee asked if they could have it ready on Saturday after 5:30 instead. Even though it was inconvenient for me I went ahead and agreed. The employee then charged me $26.85 for 12 items. I knew that amount was wrong and asked her to double check. She was determined that she was correct and I was wrong. She ended up double checking and realized that she made a mistake and that I actually only owed $20.13. So first of all I USE to be impressed by this dry cleaners I didn't mind paying advance especially because my clothes would be ready the next day, but let's be honest a busy store with that type of service there had to be a catch. Well long story short I dropped off my slacks picked then up the next day and didn't of then on till the very next day for an interview well on my way to the interview I looked down to an old stain I had from the time I wore the pants the last time which was the main reason why I dropped then off in the first place I was so angry I went back to the store and the lady up front told me to bring them back and she would have them redo. Well I picked up my clothes yesterday and I wanted to wear my pants for graduation now and guess what the stains were still there! So needless to say I'm not ever returning to this place again. read more

The cost of service is marginally lower than other cleaners and the quality is comparable, however the customer interaction and respect is unbelievably low. The "mother " is just flat out mean. The young girl with the caked-on makeup is also quite rude. The others are better. Decided to try out this cleaners because it's closer to the areas I do most of my errand running in. I wish I hadn't. After arriving this past Wed, and realizing that I'd forgotten my wallet, I was informed it was a pre pay only cleaner. No worries, I shouldn't have forgotten my wallet, and they were nice enough to take the clothes anyways. I inform them that I'd never been there before, and expecting the usual name & # to enter into their system, the girl simply asked me for my name which she jotted down on a ticket. She did that because, they have no system apparently. It was like being in a dry cleaners from the 20's at that point. I was told the 7 shirts would be ready at Friday by 5:30 pm. I arrive shortly after and am informed they wouldn't be ready till 6:30. K, a bit inconvenienced, I'll just come back tomorrow. I return the following day, and after a bit of a wait behind a girl in line who's clothes had been lost, I make it to the cashier. She gives the total, I hand her a card, and the response is cash or check only. This is where the bulk of my frustrations begin. 20 years ago, sure I can understand, you don't take cards. It is 2014, people. How in the world can any business survive that does not take the now more or less archaic payment form of the credit card? I am now forced to leave, go find an ATM, pull cash, return, and pay. And then the fact that no electronics system seemed to exist anywhere in the building is a bit unnerving. I noticed some sort of ticket filing thing hanging on the wall that people were running back and forth to. It all looked incredibly disorganized and inefficient. The whole experience is then wrapped up when I return home and find what I'm hoping is starch residue in patches on most of my garments. Anyways, would give lower than 1 star if able.
