I am only visiting Ohio and not a regular customer of this particular Kroger store. I am here because my daughter just gave birth, and I'm wanting to make her life a bit easier by preparing some meals in advance for her family, as well as take the load off of her in the kitchen and stuff her as she feeds my new grandson. I shopped exactly how I do in my home state of TN since COVID, spending just as much time on-line picking out what I need, clipping digital coupons, and trusting that a personal shopper will choose products as carefully as I would. I was extremely disappointed, and very saddened at the quality of product received by my online shopping experience in Columbus, Ohio. It's appears as if the Kroger employee was trying to rid the store of rotten produce, rather than give a customer what they needed in the quality paid for it. read more

I'm really not a fan of this Kroger's one. They usually only have one. Maybe two full service lines open. Everything is checked out which we know most stores are going to. Much better social distancing measures than the Westerville location. We came here because it was handy during our trip to Menard's. Someone wiping carts out front, register belts being wiped, employees in masks, etc. I'm still not a big fan of Kroger in general. Expensive, and makes me make several stops (for example, one trip to Meijer instead of going to both Menard's and Kroger today.) Big, and plenty of choices for most shopping trips, but not as big a selection in some areas. And there are a few things Mom can only find at Kroger- and they were out of them, and all area Kroger's are, so it's a supply chain issue (but, we might s well have gone to Meijer if Kroger doesn't have those specific things we need anyway.) read more

The store is gross! The dining space and the restrooms are disgusting. The female security guard who was playing on her phone was rude and acted inappropriately. My adventure today has me at Kroger, and as I was at the library anyway I decided to venture down to the Morse Road location. I picked up my coffee creamers and decided to get lunch while here, at the Bistro. I wasn't even aware they HAD a Bistro but I would up with a slice of chicken pesto and mergherita pizza. Plus a diet Dew (they didn't have Coke Zero in the fridge. A pity, that. Both slices of pizza are huge. I doubt I'll be hungry for the rest of the day. Well done, Kroger! read more

Awful. Forced to the self checkout, no one on the self checkout staff understood English. When I spoke to the guy in my area all he knew to do was scan his bar code id and clear the error. Unfortunately I had to go through a second time for some forgotten items and it was worse the machine hung up, no one showed so I just left my items after 10 minutes. A half hour later when I am home I got a credit card notification that they processed the open transaction instead of reversing. read more

This is the worst Kroger. They're always out of items and no one there gives a lick about customers, but tonight was the worst. The security guard from "Reliable Protection Services" would not let me in at 15 min til closing. Was so rude and would barely look up from his cellphone to speak to me, and wouldn't let me speak to to anyone else. I begged him to please let me in, I just needed a few things--and I had a mask. Someone else finally blew past him so I did too. Was out by closing time. I spoke to a manger and she said he was wrong. He wouldn't give me his name so I took some pics. This is my favorite Kroger, ever. I call it "awesome Kroger," and even though I live right across the street from another Kroger, I drive the extra two miles to come here. Why? 1. The produce is always stocked! And they keep stocking all day long! 2. Variety of products and items. The neighborhood is diverse, and this store has tapped into that. You can get a huge bag of rice, or a little packet of rice - but you have 20 choices in between. They have halal meats, they have tons of organic/natural selections, they have lots of ethnic foods. 3. They have staff! They are friendly! I've always had good interactions with the meat counter, checkout line, and at the Starbucks. It's just as quick to go through the regular line as it is self-checkout, because staff! baggers! people! 4. Okay, I'm a dork, but - the music they play is upbeat and fun, a mix of 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, and current stuff. It is common to see people shimmying in the aisles, or singing along with the music. 5. The parking lot setup is great. When they built this store, they did a great job accommodating walkers (sidewalk-like areas the length of the parking lot to the doors from Morse) and a third accessible door on the west side of the building. Parking is wide and deep, and the spaces are not so narrow - you can get your cart in between cars. It's easy to get in/out on a busy Saturday. 6. You can use the west door to get to their ready-made counters, Starbucks, easy-grab items rather than going in the main door. There is also a large seating area. Convenient for grabbing a quick lunch. Definitely glad to see continued improvements in the Northland area, and not just another Kroger. read more

This Kroger is one of the largest Kroger I've ever been to.. It has alot of international foods and even have a Hispanic bakery within the store. The store seems to cater well to the locals in the neighborhood and to the state and county employees within walking distance. The store was clean overall, but the staff seemed to be overwhelmed and this location seems understaffed. Please retrain or bring more staff onboard for a more pleasurable experience or many people will go 2 miles down the road to Kroger Marketplace in Graceland shopping center. read more

I do not prefer this Kroger. They never have enough registers open. They are always out of things. Hardly have any carts available. Constantly moving things around and I end up running around in circles looking for items. I would rather drive 20 plus minutes out of my way to shop at a different location. This Kroger's location wasn't so bad. Very clean nice associated throughout a large variety. The store was huge had just about everything you could imagine. I was surprised to notice they had Jamaican made products that are normally found in the international store on Morse. I was also very surprised that they did NOT have "Pomegranate Arianciata" San Pellegrino Italian Soda. I guess I'll have to look elsewhere. I gave the store 4/5 stars because as we were checking out our cashier was arguing with our bagger about not socializing with the customer but to focus on his job as a bagger. I thought he was doing fine making friendly conversation but it was quite unprofessional for the two to be going back and forth in front of customers. Maybe they shouldn't be working together. I don't get the great reviews. The fruits have cuts and a lot are rotten. I gave up on the plums but what bothered me was the dirty parking lot and litter everywhere. The floors are dirty. Today's visit to Kroger was a cat stop. I'm pretty sure that they were going to rebel if I hadn't gone today! It's not that they are out of food, but they can see the bottom of the dry food bowl! Well folks, it's a Kroger. BUT, something I keep trying to add to the category and YELP won't retain is this location being an international grocery, of sorts. There's A LOT more international food and ingredients in this location, which makes sense for Northland. They definitely did their research with this expansive new build that's been three years in the making. Now, my "Kroger" comment was for a reason, and with it being a chain they are still victim of corporate and during their GRAND OPENING STILL HAD HOLES ON THE SHELVES, INCLUDING THEIR SALE ITEMS!!!! Sigh.... What they also have, which many don't, are several made-to-order counters, including Asian bowls, pizza and tacos. They also have a very aromatic Indian/Asian buffet, which I hate to admit looked (and smelled) pretty good. You'll also find a Starbucks which FINALLY puts their presence in Northland. Here's another con: all their natural/organic groceries are mixed in with everything else. With that said, you can deduce they don't have a separate natural foods section, which is very annoying. The small Kroger across the street they finally closed even had one.... So yeah, in the end it still boils down to just being another Kroger.... read more

Why does this Kroger never have anything in stock. No cream cheese really? No carts huge lines

Avoid this Kroger at all costs. The service is terrible. This was the third Saturday in a row where they only had one cashier lane open at 1pm. People were in line to the back of the store. This has also happened on random weeknights with people lined up. I asked to speak to the manager to see if they could get more lanes open. The manager was rude and using call offs as an excuse. I get call offs, especially with Covid, but the history this store has of being understaffed says that they aren't interested in fixing the problem. read more

This store had a massive area with cooked food and Sushi bar. It also had an Indian food barn and American cuisine. The Sushi was good. We ordered fried chicken for a function. Although it was a little late on the completion of our order. The chicken was tasty. read more

This place is dreadful. It is understaffed and under stocked. There are plenty of hard working and pleasant employees, but not enough to meet the demand in the wake of the closure of the Northern Lights location. This Kroger is pretty rad. They have nice produce, a cheese shop, liquor store, salad and olive bars and hot bars with fried chicken, Indian, Chinese food, ect. Also counter service pizza, pasta, street style tacos, ramen, bulgogi, ect, ect. A stand from Himalayan Grille sets up shop from 11-3(at least it was there this weekend). Had some tacos and a Korean rice bowl, not stellar, but not bad for a grocery store. I went twice and it was crazy busy both times but I never had to wait in line for the self check out. read more

Never go to the Kroger in the northland plaza after 11. They shut down all of the registers and only keep one side of the self checkout open. There was 30 people in line and the employees couldn't care less to open up a register. On three occasions, I was in the self checkout line (they had both sides open, both with massive lines and no employees working the registers) and just when I was close to being next, an employee comes and shuts down the self check out area and tells everyone to go the other checkout area and join that other massive line. Well stocked and clean but difficult to get customer service. They do not separate Money transfers from true customer service such as returns, price issues. There were 30 ppl in front of me all transfering money. Very disappointed. Krogers was great in the 8o's and 90's at customer service. I also don't like that they close at from 1-6am. The street signs and building signs are still on and many customers park, and have to get to the door to realize they are closed. Very inconsiderate and has tricked me more than once. "Why does anyone shop at Kroger?"---I ask my four year old daughter after stopping here to grab a few things while in the neighborhood---"the prices are outrageous." I thought to myself that it must be a great customer experience that brings shoppers back, until I get in line and the cashier proceeds to have a full 1 minute conversation with her coworkers about what time they get off, while my daughter and I stare awkwardly at her, waiting to be taken care of. Then she loudly drops the f-bomb in conversation with her coworkers, only to look at me for the first time when I angrily told that that was not cool and pointed to my daughter. She feigned apologetic and I talked to the manager. As the manager appeared to be about the same age as the cashier (i.e. around 19) I didn't have great confidence that the customer experience would improve. this is by far the largest and best Kroger i have been to. the size to equivalent to Walmart. it also adds more choices on prepared food such as an Asian section,pizza section,along with the original fried chicken and mash potatoes area with a twist of allowing the employees to prepare your plate or a do it your self fully prepped salad bar/all you can pale on chicken bar. Lets not forget a fully furnished food court eating area for those wanting to dine in. I LOVE IT. read more

This has to be the worst grocery store I have frequented. Constantly out of items. Outdated merchandise & rotten produce. Staff and management are impolite and often downright rude. When called CS number have been told CONTINUALLY that it was due to hiring problems that never seem to get corrected. Also told by CS supe why didnt i try another Kroger store. Also a general note about Kroger's in general. Bad CS line, digital coupons that continually experience technical difficulties. Also fuel pumps that continually take advantage of your fuel points unless you specify exact amount. According to supe will take highest amount out and will let previous pts. Expire. Example if you have 900 fuel pts but have 1000 for the next month will take the 1000 and let the 900 expire unless you specify 900. The supe blamed it on the fact that the pumps "weren't smart enough to know". Why can't you give zero stars. read more
