I got sushi from Krogers today bc it's $6 on Wednesdays but NEVER eating it from there again. I literally took a long wad of fine hair out my mouth and I was immediately disgusted. The manger Jeremy I spoke with was very nice about replacing or refunding which I appreciate it. It was just a disgusting experience as I never see the sushi maker with any type of net on their hair. I feel it's a nice gift for the kids if it's something they're into. The store was organized. All the older cashiers looked annoyed. Awful. I kinda feel bad for the workers. They are not competent enough to run a store put in the compromising position of being hired as if they were able to. Kroger should be ashamed that as a large corporation they don't hire a qualified staff or offer a pay rate that a qualified person would be willing to work them. Went to utilize Money Services which states online they are open until 8pm. They were closed at 6:30p. When I inquired two cashier both stated they closed today at 1pm because they were understaffed and couldn't get anyone to work the desk. Kroger not a neighborhood corner store doesn't have enough staff to work the Money Service desk imagine that. read more

Today was the worst customer service I've ever received. I encounter two rude employees today, one at the service desk and another one at the meat counter, But somehow something tells me that this must be a management issue because everything always starts at the top. Let me start with I'm standing at the service desk and an employee just totally ignores while unlocking a door to the service desk. She proceeds to go to a back room and close door. So at this point I'm not sure if she's coming back out because she never acknowledge me by letting me know that she'll be right with me. So I proceed to the self check and ask an employee if the service desk was open. By this time the same employee that ignore me shows up behind the service desk. At this time I proceeded to head back over to the service desk and I actually mentioned to the employee that I was just standing there. With an attitude she proceeds to tell me that she had to put something back. I feel like she had an attitude because she knew what I was talking about without me even having to school her on customer service. Still with an attitude she return my item with no customer service whatsoever. Then I head over to the deli department. So then I encounter a young who is diligently sweeping behind the counter.I'll give her the benefit doubt maybe she didn't see me but then when I asked her if anybody was working in the deli department; with an attitude she says I am. Of course she serves me with an attitude. In fact while getting my lunch meat she yells to a co worker to turn off the lights in deli department. So I ask what time the deli department close and she tells me at 8 o'clock pm. I look at my watch and it is 6:47 pm. She was nice enough to let me know that they were closing early due to people not coming in to work. After encountering these two employees, it appears they are miserable working at Kroger or H‑E‑B is on their way. read more

It's 8:30 am on a busy Wednesday morning, before a storm coming. NOT 1, I REPEAT, NOT 1 checkout lane open. Only self checkout lanes open with 1 worker assisting customers. Plenty of kroger associates doing random walking and chatting throughout entire store. Terrible!!! read more

This Kroger is terrible. I have come at a few different times of day, and it is ALWAYS terrible. People say it has been remodeled, but you sure couldn't tell by looking at it. Let's start at the parking lot. Carts EVERYWHERE. So much so you can't hardly drive down one lane because they are stacked up so deep it impedes traffic. They are pushed up under trees, ok the sidewalk, everywhere but inside. This was about 4:00 in the afternoon. The store was not crazy busy. I have been here before, at night, when they definitely were not busy and it was the same problem. The inside doesn't look recently remodeled, they have no belts at the checkout stand, you just push your cart up. Not that it matters anyway, there is only one checkout open and they are expecting everyone else to do self checkout. And that line is going all the way down the freezer section. If you need any help finding anything, good luck. You also won't find someone to assist you. I made sure to fill out my receipt survey about this visit. I sure hope someone reads it. read more

To say this place is gross is an understatement. Brown raw meat? Sealed and bloated packages of raw chicken? Who knows where that gas came from that made the packages look like balloons. Fruits and vegetables on the floor? Based solely on what I saw, cleanliness is not a priority. There were no cash registers open, only a crowded self check-out area. The lines were as long as one would expect when people are using self check out to buy an entire cart full of groceries. The 1 person who was managing the self-checkout clearly did not want to be there. The only thing that I left with was a 12-pack of Coke after going in with a laundry list of things to buy. You don't need an MBA to know that this place has management issues. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. read more

I went to the store on 2525 West I-20. I don't know what was wrong with this place but the 2 employees I encountered went above and beyond. Dennis in the freezer department and Bryan working lot were both super friendly and informative. This is by far the worst Kroger ever. You know their motto is that they have fresh produce. Well I can assure you this location is not working with that. The produce is bad and moldy. While my favorite grocery store is Tom Thumb, I visit Kroger from time to time to pick up some essentials that are at better prices or that Tom Thumb doesn't carry. The store layout is simple enough and the prices are decent on most things. My only beef with this store (and the only thing holding it back from a five star rating) is that it is in dire need of a renovation. This particular store looks like Kroger from the 90s or early 2000s. When you can visit a nicely renovated Kroger about 2-3 miles away in Arlington or not too far down the highway in Mansfield, it makes it difficult to stop at this location at times. But the customer service is great and they always have what I'm looking for and then some, which is why I'm giving it four stars. read more

The place to go to catch covid. I went to the meat/seafood department. I observed the woman working the seafood counter pull down her mask wipe her nose with her hand and then go back to work. The gentlemen the was cutting meat was wearing his mask completely pulled down below his nose. When i went to the front of the store and asked to speak to the manager, he arrived with his mask below his nose and insisted on standing within 3' of me. Upon hearing my complaint he acted as if he could not care less. read more

Decent little Kroger. It is certainly not upscale like some you will find, but has all the basics and there is never a long line. The staff is pretty helpful and keep the store clean. Again the selection is not huge but you will get the basics. read more

Kroger is a great place to shop. I enjoy shopping here a tad bit more than Walmart. The prices are a little higher than going to Walmart, but the atmosphere and people you have to deal with makes it more enjoyable. The lines at this location are usually very quick and never very long. The crew here is always very willing to help and will find the product you are looking for. The meat selection here is great, but Albertsons takes the crown on that category. Overall I would come here more often if they could compete or even beat Walmart's prices. It is ALWAYS more enjoyable to come here than Walmart, or even other grocery stores. read more

This is my go to grocery store. I like the convenience, since its near my home. I am glad to see they are improving the produce area. I would like see more variety in the deli & meat areas. No good options there. Also do something about the smell when you enter the door, get better ventilation...get rid of the carpet. I want to start off by saying that I don't get on Facebook and rant but this is one time I'm taking my rant to let everyone know. I have been shopping at the Kroger off of I-20 and Great Southwest for over 20 years and as of today 3-18-17 I will NEVER walk into that store again. I have always purchased groceries, prescriptions and anything I ever needed from there. This is what happened to me today, I have ordered the assorted sandwich tray from them for everything from pool parties, birthday parties or any gathering I might have at the house. I always order the same assorted sandwich tray with turkey, roast beef and ham. Today I'm told that I cannot order that and never have been able to that all they offer is turkey and ham. I ask to speak to a manager as I have been ordering the same thing for years. The manager Gerald comes over and tells me that they have NEVER made a 3 meat sandwich tray at this store or any other Kroger and cannot do one now. I ask where Renee was because she knows me and has never said anything to me about not being able to order it. Now keep in mind I order these trays at least 2-3 times a month. This guy Gerald looks at me and said he was sorry but I must be mistaking about where I had ordered the trays. Now come on folks I know I'm getting old but I do have enough sense to know where I've done all of my grocery shopping for 20 years, I'm not that crazy. So I look at him with a full basket of stuff and say "you just lost a long time customer" and walked out of the store. I get in my car and drive to the Kroger at 360 and Broad walk in ask the very nice lady in the deli if I could order the same tray and she informed me that it would not be a problem and I could pick it up tomorrow about 1 of that worked with me. I proceed to tell her what happened at the I20 and GSW store she just shook her head and said she had never heard of anything like that they made those type of trays all the time. She said that they would be happy to make me any kind of tray I needed or wanted but if it was something really weird or crazy it may cost me a little more. THIS is my NEW store I love this store it is huge it has everything you could ever want or need. I purchased some meat that I realized when I got home was spoiled. I noticed there was no date on the package and while I planned to return it the next day I tried calling to tell them so they could take the remaining packages off the shelf, well the number was not in order and stated they were working on it. Today I'm in the store and have been in line for 15 mins so far. I asked if some else could help. No, I'm the only one here. I doubt that. But you can bet this is my last time here. Horrible customer service and they knowingly sell bad meat. It's still on the shelf. read more

My concerns with this particular Kroger store is that the parking lot was awfully dirty and unappealing. My first impression was to get back into my car and go somewhere else. I just moved to a pricey apartment community nearby and would have expected that the nearest grocer would line up with expectations for the area. I think that this Kroger should get a facelift and get the parking lot cleaned, power washed and have a regular cleaning crew. read more
