I placed an order this morning for pickup between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM. At 3:15 PM, I notified the store through the website that I was on my way. I then drove 45 minutes to Kroger, only to receive a text at 3:55 PM, after I was already in the parking lot, stating that my order was not going to be ready. This is ridiculous and completely disrespectful of customers' time. Kroger asks customers to select a pickup window, notify the store when they are on the way, and trust that the order will be ready as scheduled. I did exactly what was required, and Kroger still failed to deliver on its end. A 45-minute drive is not a minor inconvenience. This cost me time, fuel, and unnecessary frustration. Last-minute notifications like this are unacceptable, especially when they come after the customer is already en route or has arrived. Kroger needs to either honor the pickup times it offers or stop advertising a service it is clearly not managing properly. read more

This particular Kroger is all in all, a great option for shopping. It is large and has an amazing selection of items for purchase. The staff was friendly and again, the store had pretty much anything that you could want. They also had a gas station on property and since it is in a shopping plaza, parking was definitely not a problem. Overall, I am going to give this particular Kroger a rating of five stars and it definitely earns my recommendation. read more

8 months later, still no change. Started going to Costco and the local meat market. Much better. Just hard to find everything. Kroger sucks. I got more to add. It smells like rotten meat and fermented vegetables throughout the store. And , please tell me, why is everything thawing out on the shelf. I bought a loaf of sour dough bread for supper and could not cut it with a knife. Frozen meat, frozen bread, what the hell is even fresh in this place. Why are there bugs flying around the fruit and vegetables? Maybe because some are rotting? Maybe change them out or remove the bad ones. Or maybe not. read more

The pharmacy manager Lindsay in Hernando, MS was a total shrew to my elderly mother. She was steadily smacking her food while yelling at my mother who told her several times she was not hard of hearing. This woman got aggravated because my mother questioned the $5000.00 price of antibiotics the clerk could not explain. This loud mouthed uncouth pharmacy manager made certain we will never shop here again. Abuse of the sick and elderly are the lowest of life forms. This woman clearly needs anger management among other things. read more

I LOVE this Kroger! It is the nicest, best stocked, and greatest Kroger in MS. Like really. Shout out to Jerold (sorry if I spelled your name wrong!) in the meat department! Honestly the entire meat department is top tier, but he is always so polite and helpful! The Koolest Kroger in Hernando MS. Not like the location in the city where we live. This one sells clothes and shoes. Has a Starbucks and everything. Employees are friendly and store is clean and organized. Will make a special trip and come back to shop for the clearance items in the clothing area. Yea!!! read more

Shopped here many times and use Clicklist occasionally. So far they are never on time, orders canceled, and poorly managed. I have politely spoken to managers and even gotten gift cards for poor service without request. But I simply can't keep shopping here as our last order was not on time, they called (as usual) and said running behind, so we agreed on new time, and when we arrived I was informed I was suppose to ignore texts from store that said order is ready and wait a few more hours! When I questioned this I was spoken to rudely and I have simply had enough. If the 2 managers I have spoken to before for the same issue haven't resolved it- it's a lost cause. I love shopping here! They have the friendliest cashiers! It's always, so clean and organized! They have such a large variety of just about everything! They offer so many choices for the varying, diets! Floor staff is always, helpful directing you to find items! It's definitely, one of the most beautiful grocers that I've ever seen! The only, reason I'm rating it with 4 stars is because 1 of the young man, courtesy clerks stole 1 of my favorite shopping bags! I like to help the environment and help Kroger save on bags so I was trying to be helpful by bringing in my own bags and he actually, stole it! I couldn't believe that happened! Since then, I stopped bringing in my own bags but still feel comfortable using them at other establishments! So, just keep an eye on the courtesy clerks, that they don't take your bags! read more

New Kroger Marketplace is a big improvement over the old store. A lot of variety for some food categories, but not as much as I was hoping for in others. But still, selection is 10x better than what it was. Aisles are much wider than old store. Store is clean since it's brand new. Hopefully management can keep it that way. Time will tell! read more

We like them overall, but the last two trips have been trying. First; the rudeness when calling in and being ordered to change parking location and that my spouse was informed to return at 2 pm, and being sarcastically told its only 2:03. And secondly, not being given a receipt and told if we wanted to see what we bought, for us to go online and review our order. This makes it impossible to return an item if necessary. read more

This is a quality grocery market, I like the layout, the well stocked shelves and the friendly people. I only have one gripe about this store. I have to drive 40 miles about 30 mins. to get there. :) Can't forget that this particular store anchors a really useful group of shops, restaurants and stores. read more

This Kroger is interesting! It has clothes and electronics and toys. It's more like a Super Walmart. It was interesting. Other than that, its a typical grocery store. There's not much else to say. It has a huge selection. It's in MS, so no wine or growler station. read more

The absolute worst Kroger east and west. This was my second time with basically the same outcome from the employees. Was looking for meatballs first time and the meat department guy says "sometimes we have them and sometimes we don't, you will just have to look" he then goes on to say "freezer section always a place to look". Today looking for cauliflower pizza crust which I have bought at other Kroger's and the only person working the floor says "Isle 14" I respond with no ma'am they are frozen then I get....."well I don't work in this Department" so I say how bout can you get me someone that does? "They only work at midnight and they 14 pallets of food in the freezer and I can't help you". Don't waste your time go somewhere else! read more

Great grocery store and the customer service is very good. I've been shopping here since it opened. The pharmacy is one of the best in the county. The meat dept great. The cheese customer service is exceptional. The store is very clean and well stocked. The salad bar is lacking so much better in midtown. Needs to work on it! The store is overall great! read more

I sent Kroger an email several weeks ago, but apparently they completely ignored it. The Kroger store in Hernando, MS is the absolute worst I have ever been to. When you first walk in you immediately notice how filthy everything is. Then the produce department is a mess. There is rotted fruit everywhere with flies buzzing around. The rest of the store is in disarray, like they just throw stuff on the shelves and let it go at that. Speaking of the employees, they are mostly rude and definitely unhelpful. I mentioned this to a man I believe to be a manager there and his attitude was more or less "whatever, as long as I get paid, I don't care". It is a shame that Kroger is so pathetic here. The only other choice is wal-mart and they are just as pathetic! I can't believe I live in a town that has a Kroger and I still have to drive 30 minutes away just to buy groceries. Kroger, if you read this, know that I am not the only one who knows how pathetic this store is. Do something about it as soon as possible! Hernando needs this store! It does not have to fancy or anything as long as it is clean and well-kept, and has friendly, helpful employees. As it is, this store is a shameful example of how pathetic some stores can be. The dirtiest Kroger I have ever been in. Try to clean something and stock the store . Just get rid of this one and start over again.

At least 6 times the meat was tagged as discounted but rung up at full price at register, causing me to make a trip back to the store. Tongs which are used by many, left in salad, no receptacle for them. Not very sanitary. Mentioned this to Mgr. and nothing done. Advice: Do not to buy the salad and check your register receipt. . read more

I am surprised by the other reviews here. I have never had any of the problems mentioned and I am in the store 3-4 days a week. My only complaint is a lot of times it is so crowded and the isles are so small you really can't get around other shoppers. read more

The location is great and the selection is much better than the previous store; however, the quality of the produce is often questionable. There are a number of times I have found moldy or rotten produce left on the shelf. I have also found some other products that are out of date and are still at full price on the shelf. I have made the mistake of buying out of date products also as I failed to check the date assuming the quality would match the higher price.
