I went to Kroger in Horn Lake today, 1/10/26 to get the Cranberry Ginger Ale. The sign clearly read Buy 4 Get 2 free. I placed eight of the Cranberry Ginger Ale packs in my cart which meant four would be free. When the cashier checked out my items the total indicated two packs would be free. I told her that the sign says two are free with a purchase of four. She said no so I requested that someone go to the area and check the sign which two individuals did go back and checked the sign. I was correct and a man brought the sign back with him. He said that the sale had expired. It is not my fault that the sign was expired and they had not removed the sign. It should not be the customers responsibility to know what is on sale and what is not and I let them know it. The cashier then asked should I give her the items for the price and he said yes. The man said yes so she changed the price to allow me to purchase four of the Ginger Ale's for free. I placed my card in the card reader to pay for them. A lady then said no she cannot purchase the items .for that price because that sale has expired. I explained I am purchasing based on the sign in your store. The lady was very RUDE and said we cannot let you have those items for that price over ruling the man. I told the cashier that it is not my fault that their sign is wrong. I was very disgusted and walked out the store leaving AL:L eight of the Ginger Ale packs in the cart. The unprofessionalism at this store was soooo bad that I do not intend to return. As a prior Manager for numerous years I would never have treated ANY customer in this manner. The manager also said that ALL Kroger stores do not have the same price. That is news to me because this is the first time I have ever experienced this type of situation and they need individual store flyers if this is true. Ver poorly managed store!!! I will make sure that Kroger corporate is aware of the situation that I experienced as this management team definitely needs additional customer service training!!! read more

Poorly managed store came in here looking to buy a couple of things and the lady in charge of the seasonal isle said flat out "no" and this store wouldn't allow me to buy it lady definitely needs some customer service skills because that's not how you treat a customer. Not surprising that this store has terrible customer service. Go to the store off Horn Lake by Target or the store in Olive Branch they have better customer service than this store. Definitely needs a management change many incompetent people working here. Last time buying anything at this location will take my business to another Kroger. read more

An employee noticed me having an issue with my digitals and she stopped what she was doing to help me. She also brought a sale ad to me. Great customer service. read more

This has 1 star because you can't give zero. I ordered my groceries last night to be delivered. They were to be delivered between 9-10 AM the next day. I got a message at 8:30 saying that she would be late & it would now be 10:30-11 before she got there. That was okay, since I would still be home then. The delivery girl informed me that I would have to pay again because they canceled my payment. The payment was taken out of my account. After that debacle (about 1:45 PM) she informed me that she would be delivering my groceries. At 2:05, when I was NOT HOME ANYMORE, she said she was delivering. I came home to my groceries like this. The produce was in horrible condition. My frozen items were all thawed. This is terrible service. read more

Kroger is ok if you go yourself. If you plan to have groceries delivered, save yourself the headache. They never get the order correct. I have had them tell me items weren't available only to have my family stop 20 minutes later to pick the same item up. Not to mention, they do not listen when you say "no substitutions." Then when there is a problem, they either want to blame the customer or do nothing. Understand, this is not a one time thing. This has happened multiple times to the point that I won't use their delivery EVER AGAIN. read more

Just love how Kroger has a prepaid VISA card, and that you can reload it at any register. 97% of the time I have to reload it at customer care. So I walk in this store at 6 a.m., lady is putting cash drawers in registers. I have a few rolls of quarters to load on to my card, this is what I get. Can I help you? Yes, I'd like to load this on my rewards card. Well, customer care doesn't open til 8. But I'm supposed to be able to load it at any register. None of the registers have money. Ma'am, I don't need money, all I need is to load this on my card. Well, only customer service can load it, come back at 8. Then why do y'all advertise through out the store, and online, that you can reload at any register? Honestly, I don't know. SERIOUSLY? Wtf? F@%k Kroger. I'm done. read more

I shop here a lot and I'm really impressed at the fresh fruits and veggies. There are good sales also with items marked down and with coupons its a really good deal. The associates are courteous. This extends especially to the pharmacy department. My mom is visiting from out of town and was visiting longer than she expected but ran out of 2 of her meds. She only needed enough pills for 2 days and the pharmacy at Krogers took really good care of her. She was able to get a couple of her meds to carry her over until she got home. That was a huge weight off me since she didn't have to miss taking a dose. Great job Krogers! read more

This has been my number one stop for groceries, for years . I recently purchased a pack of pork chops that was spoiled. I live in Tunica which is about 40 min away so I could not just turn around and bring the meat back. I tried to keep the meat but it started to smell so bad that I threw it out. Two days later, I went back with my receipt and explained to the manager (Mr. Gee) what happened and he didn't care one bit. He was nonchalant and unsympathetic of my concern. Not only did he deny my request to simply receive a gift card ($8 for the pork chops) for the inconvenience of ruining my dinner, he didn't even offer an apology. I don't know who hired him as a Manger but he desperately need a course on customer satisfaction. As much money as I spend here, I am very disappointed. read more

Unless you want flies to accompany your grocery purchase, don't shop here! There are literally dead and living flies all over the store. They are in the produce section, "fresh" meat section, frozen meat section, dairy...and they swarm the deli section. The flies are in plain sight and store workers and management do nothing about it. I addressed this issue with the store manager, and he stated that, "it will be taken care of in a couple of days...". This is not a new issue for this store, and I've heard that empty promise before. Rude staff rude customers. Always out of things produce is bad and a lot of expired dairy products they do not rotate properly. One time I bought a kroger brand yogurt drink the coconut lime flavor and was in a hurry and forgot to check the date went to drink it and it tasted awful and I realized it was 3 months out of date. Called management and they were just like if you come up here we will give you another one. They didn't seem very concerned about the issue. I stopped going here and go all the way to hernando instead. read more
