Sure, it's a right to deny selling alcohol but when your cashier denies me a pack of beer because my eyes look glossy from ONE MILLER LITE, you can get fucked. What are you? Police? Number one hire better security she has been doing things like this for 2 years I have complained to Kroger over and over and over I've written in Google reviews each and every time I call Kroger's and tell them exactly what she's doing she is a nuisance and irritant she is very unprofessional .At times she follows me around the store I've heard other people say the same thing about her there's a union here so they probably can't get rid of her! Ufortunately !The young cashier that's there is usually quite nice to me but when this female security guard Tulukis is here she follows her rule. I came here just the other day to use the ATM machine . Tuluki and a older manager were outside talking and as I walked by they had several comments about me . THEY do this each and every time I'm here in the store I don't come that often maybe once every other week but it's always done !! Kroger's apparently doesnt care they only have a rating of 2.7 I would think that they should care the reviews I've read are sad again tonight when I came out to the car at 10:02 p.m. I called and made another complaint about Tuluki I don't know what it is if she doesn't like white people? I'm not sure but unfortunately it's ruined it for a lot of people she's not professional at all ! I have to admit it was my fault for going to Kroger's to pick-up a late dinner near closing time. But man was the front staff sure rude about it. I ended up leaving the food I had pick-out. I'm sure other food store staff can be just as rude, but since these other stores have lower prices, I will take my $400 month food budget and spend the majority of it with them. so I was shopping on the Thursday before Easter, and omg the store was sooo busy. The digital coupon thing is a joke - of course I was wanting to use the digital coupons to save money. Only some of the tags would actually bring you to the item to clip the coupon, others all it would do is bring up a looooong list of items to go thru to find the right item. I finally just gave up and headed to the checkout. i was the eleventh person in line, that is how crowded it was! i scrolled on my phone as I waited. And waited. finally Iwas second in line. The head cashier or whatever title she has, came to me a d said the cashier was on overtime and she needed to let him go. She then said you may go down to lane 11 or 12. BOTH of those lanes had lines going down the aisle. After already waiting twenty minutes, she now wants me to get in line again?!!! oh hell no! I left my cart and told the head cashier she now had a cartful of groceries to put away and walked out of the store. I will never shop at Kroger again. Heck, Walmart doesnt even give THAT kind of service, they send you to a register opening up. Geez Kroger, I'm greatly disappointed in your service... read more

The women that work there in pharmacy, are snotty and rude. None of them ever smile when they wait on you. Also they dont care to fill my prescriptions until late at night. I take care of my mother and cannot leave her by herself for very long, and i need to be home once its dark out. Thinking of switching pharmacies. read more

I just went to kroger to take back bottles and do some shopping and was disrespected a few times. For people cutting us off not allowing us our place in line. I called and talked to management and they said they can't do anything if they weren't aware. I said u had 5 people right there walking around and someone was cleaning a machine. But ok guess I'll be taking my business somewhere else. This place has gone downhill so bad. Even an older gentleman said that this is a ongoing problem. It's happened to him a few times. And they didn't do anything for him either. So just be aware. Now if I would have tripped then I would have been banned from there. They don't wanna have respect for customers or value our money. If you need cheap prescriptions, Kroger Pharmacy is hard to beat! They almost always have the lowest prices. This one is great because it will take you no time to drop off or pick up your prescriptions because they're really fast here. The people behind the counter are really friendly and kind. I had particularly difficult insurance and it took the woman behind the counter very little time to look it up and apply it. Overall a great place! read more

There customer service is aweful. They will issue cashiers checks and then not cash them at their own convience. If they want to be in the banking service they should honor there own checks!!! For 10 months they have cashed the exact same checks issued to me from a tentant and then today the lazy horrible service people decided they couldnt do it. They lied to me, even when i knew they have too. So now i will have to let the government explain to them how issuing checks and them having to cash them works. I will never spend another dollar with them again!!! They are uneducated jerks!!! I hope they keep losing customers who literially spend a grand month there. Its a horrible business. read more

Instacart and Kroger Jackson Michigan. Don't bother! I try to ordering from instacart through the Kroger app. I was told that my order would arrive by 8:00 p.m. on Friday night. Then I received a message that said that my order wouldn't arrive until 11 p.m. and then after waiting up until almost 12:00 I received a message that my order wouldn't arrive until the following day between 8 and 12. So I waited and at 12:00 I tried calling the Jackson Kroger store. The manager there couldn't wait to tell me that they had no responsibility for instacart whatsoever. If I had a complaint I should call the 1-800 Kroger number. So I did and I waited and I waited and then when someone answered and I gave them my complaint they asked me to wait on the line. Until of course more than 15 minutes later I was disconnected. I don't know anything about Kroger but I do know one thing I'm going to do my shopping somewhere else. Some other place can take the $800 a month that I've been spending. Instacart... Don't bother! No responsibility equals no customer. read more

My sister and I were shopping and we went to the self check out mind you we did have a lot of items and we were aware that it would take a while but the lady that was working in the area was very rude kinda short probably mid 40s blonde hair, anyways she was telling us that we would have to keep our items that we scanned on the scan area so we said okay, while we're scanning the machine said scan item and place either in cart or back on the machine we put our items back in the cart bc we did have a lot. The lady proceeded to tell us "I told you that would happen if put the items back in your cart" then she started asking us if we rang up our items that were in our cart implying that we were stealing. She then said "I'm just doing my job" in a very snotty way but she didn't do that to anyone else that was using the self check out. This place is a joke, very bad customer service and I actually enjoyed shopping here great deals but after that no thank you. read more

As an avid Kroger customer, I am very disappointed in the way that one of the managers Koda treated me. We were trying to buy gift cards that ranged in the $2000 mark. I understand this is difficult to do but when everything was finally figured out and we walked out with only $1000 worth of gift cards and I see Koda (one of the managers) rolling his eyes to another employee it immediately tells me I am not wanted back. I will not be back. Very rude. Cashiers were very sweet and handled the situation with poise. read more

My wife and I visit this store every day. It's not all shiny and bright what with all the liquids and customers who don't care when they drop something, etc but it's reasonably clean. Like anyplace now-a-days mgmt tries to control costs so they sometimes have fewer cashiers than customers would like but who will volunteer to pay more? If customers were willing to pay more for a VIP membership I'm sure they would add another line for them! The service desk probably doesn't make much $ for them so it is staffed minimally. This is mainly a service that they offer their customers. Don't like it? Go somewhere else or go there when crowds are minimal. We also shop at Walmart because brand names are cheaper there; A&A Market for meat & Kowalski kiszka; Polly's CM (not for the meat) because they have other things and occasionally out-of-town places that Jackson's stick-in-the-mud average resident isn't familiar with and doesn't want to try. The east side Kroger (now closed) was grubbier but very neighborhood friendly with slightly less affluent clients and old time friends (clients & customers). Some of these people have migrated to the Argyle location so they chat, etc and are a little less inclined to rush, rush, rush super business like. For all of you who want to bypass the commoners, Kroger now has ClickList. ClickList allows customers to order and purchase from a selection of 40,000 groceries online and then pick them up at a Kroger. Store employees will pack the items and load them into customers' cars at a designated time. This is becoming increasingly popular and they are adding associates steadily to service this profitable offering. If you need a job and are customer friendly and willing to work hard, Kroger is always hiring and if you're good you'll get more hours. Starting pay is higher if you have verifiable relevant experience. Kroger has lots of other jobs at the corporate level so if you're going to college for IT, ACTG, MKTG, etc you can start out there part time while going to school and upon graduating apply for a professional position. I don't know if they have internships but if you're worth a crap you can find that out yourself. read more

This is a pretty nice Krogers located near the Jackson Crossing. It's bigger than most of the Krogers I've been in. It's usually kept fairly clean. Their meat counter is decent and this store has a much better variety than their east side Jackson location. Check out times can be long and their beer selection isn't the best but other than that I don't mind this store. read more

There prices are sky high, and the service counter always has one person helping a line of many people. Then people will cut in line and the clerk will end up helping them. Used to pay my bills here, but then there fees jumped up and sense people don't resect getting things together and ready by the time they get to counter it takes longer for the casher to help them. read more

My sister and I spent a good 2+hours in the store shopping both had a cart full of items and we got to the checkout and Tamara wouldn't let us use all of our coupons in our transaction.. We even offered to split the transaction and still she said no... I was very disappointed as we normally shop at Kroger in Toledo and never ever have issues with this! And our first experience in Jackson and sadly it was horrible I ended up going up to the return counter and sending everything back because I was so upset..I will not be returning to Jackson Kroger.
