From best to least it was Ribs, Brisket, Smoked Wings, and then the Pulled Pork. I would get the ribs and brisket again, but probably pass on the wings and pulled pork. The Bbq beans were only okay, oddly enough as cold leftovers they were much better. The Mac N Cheese was okay, but I wouldn't get it again. The Mashed Potatoes were very good. The spicy Cream Corn was excellent, they weren't lying it has a spicy kick! Funny enough the best thing was the Cornbread. It was fantastic, some of the best I've had. The worst thing? The sauces. They all were not good at all. The most tolerable one is their regular sauce, still a c minus. The service was good, but I was asked how I was doing about a hundred times. Still everyone was friendly. Overall a 4 star review. Would I return? If I was in Lansing then Yes. It is quality bbq cooked by someone with skill. I just might bring my own bbq sauce.

During my girls childhood, for 20 years I always ordered their birthday Cakes from Polly's, on Ferguson Road. What was so special? One could order Disney Characters on the cake, my daughter's favorite photo, a creamy whipped topping that wasn't terribly sweet. Much of the rest of the store allotted space for new or traditional world wide cuisine. It always had unique items. My younger daughter, whilst in her teens, refused to eat sandwiches without sprouts. Polly's, had them when no one else did. What more can I say? We were there on 8-28-26, I ordered the brisket, pulled pork and the burnt ends, got the baked beans and the coleslaw, topped it off with a Dr.Pepper. The wait staff and casher were great and very helpful. I'll start with the brisket, It had a faint taste of smoke, it was a little rubbery, I'll give it a 3. The pulled pork had a flavory smoke taste, I'll give it a 4. The burnt ends, well I'm not sure what that was that I ate. It wasn't burnt on the ends and even with the sauce, it that didn't help. I'll give it a 0. Now the coleslaw, not sure if was coleslaw or they tried to make potato salad and missed the mark. I'll give it a 0. The baked beans were Outstanding, along with the corn muffin and the Dr. Pepper. I read this to my wife and she said it was about right. She is from Michigan.
