Great meat store ,always something for everyone. I love how the wrap the cheeses and lunch meat, wonderful deli too.

Great atmosphere, great products, great service! ! saw a two star review claiming you have to wait and service depends on who you are! Couldn't be more wrong! You just get in line and wait your turn like every place! It can be busy, but that is because A & A has a lot of regulars and loyal customers! Prices are better than Meijers or Polly's for ground beef, Tri Tip and steaks, and I shop at both of those stores as well! Always go to A & A for their Tri Tip, New York strip or rib eyes cut and trimmed to my preference and their ground beef! This is a comment about their customer service. It is awful! I bought 2 of the Amish apple hand pies on June 16 ,2021 and I tried to eat one of them ALL that was in the pies were some sort of apple flavored goo. I threw that one away. When I went to eat the second one I cut it open and it was filled with the same GOO no APPLES! I went to A & A and took the pie with me to show them! The gentleman that I talked to told me that the pies were a good seller and they had apples in them most of the time. They offered me nothing for the TERRIBLE pies, because I had TOUCHED them! DO NOT BUY THE HAND PIES! They are not the same quality as before! read more

The smell of meat hits you when you walk in the door! Yum. Their beef prices are very competitive. I didn't see much fish, but i wasn't shopping for fish! They have lunch meats and a good variety of cheeses. They also serve sandwiches! They were pretty busy, but quite efficient. P.S. They will not serve you if you are on a cell phone. read more

Probably the best place in the area to buy fresh meat. We like buying the slabs of steaks and getting them cut to our liking. I've been mostly pleased with all the meat we've purchased here except for the slabs of Select New York Strip Steaks, they are almost always tough to eat. So when I buy the NY Strip Steaks I buy premium instead. I've been pleased with the slabs Select Ribeye's and T-bones. Always have had a positive experience with other meats. At first glance it sounds like a deal. However anyone that knows anything about meat realizes that a USDA select or inspected steak is a lower grade than USDA choice. They do have choice available there but it's more expensive than other stores. The sales they run are almost always on select or inspected. Beyond that it's a decent little market but I wouldn't go out of my way to go there. It's alright but I agree with one of the other reviews that said service depends on who you are. You can stand there for awhile sometimes. Honestly I've found the best place to get your meat in Jackson is at one of the Pollys. They have butchers there, sell better grades of meat, and their prices are lower. Beef Barn is ok too. A&A is ok though they're just not great. read more

The best, hands down, Meat Market in Michigan, including the UP. Without a doubt, the best fresh Polish kielbasa I've ever had, and I've eaten a lot and I'm 100% Polish. I grew up eating their Kielbasa and since my All my Grandparents have all passed, I drive the 55 miles to get it. Also, A & A's smoked kielbasa and plethora of other sausages and meats are of like quality. read more

Another Jackson destination to visit when you're in this area. Some of the best cuts of meat for the best prices!! Lots of things to choose from in the cases. Many different kinds of sausages and deli salads. What a great place to stop to pick up some meat for the fridge. I'll be back!! read more

When is A & A going to join the 21st century and get bar codes and a scanner, that poor cashier having to input all those prices is crazy. Would make the lines shorter and keep the customers moving through the store. While the selection and prices are great, I don't have time to wait a 1/2 hr just to check out. read more

This place is top knotch for meats and specialty cuts. You can request a cut, get package deals on meat, they have their own hunter sausages ( I must say, these are the best ) and the help is attractive to boot. There is a cooler with pop and beer, an Eckrich walk in "store" cooler...this place is the balls.....they sell pree-seasoned tri-tips for a ridiculousy low price once in a while, you must try...Delicious! read more

I get almost all of my meats at A & A now. Very reasonable pricing, employees are speedy, friendly, and helpful. It is a busy place for sure so go with the knowledge that you might be there for a while. The breakfast sausage is great and less $$ than anyone else. Bacon too. This place has nice guts of meat but HORRIBLE customer service. If the staff doesn't know you they make you wait forever if they wait on you at all. We've had to place orders for pick up over the phone and that service wasn't good either, the meat looked like the least desirable of the day. We live in the area and try to stop frequently but the service is still poor. I walked out today after waiting 1/2 hour, making eye contact with the staff, and the staff taking people ahead of me. A&A skates by on their reputation but no more. You take your chances when you buy here! read more

Ordered a fresh turkey 2 weeks before I needed it for an early thanksgiving dinner. Gave the woman over the phone the exact day and time I would be there for pickup. Arrived at that time, and was informed that they hadn't received my turkey and that the only options they had were frozen ones. Unfortunately I no longer had time to thaw and season a frozen turkey. The employees offered no further suggestions and offered nothing to try to make it better. Ended up having to buy a turkey from Meijers and praying it thaws in time. Thanks for ruining thanksgiving for me. read more
