I walked in the door by the flower shop end of the store on mother's day.so much water was on the floor that I slipped and fell and my phone went flying,broke my screen.none of the workers helped me up or said anything to me whatsoever.i played there with a hurt knee and I'm 50,so it took a minute to get up So I called the store left several messages just to tell them what happened to me and how rude the workers were to me,and how the floor was wet with enough water to swim in.nobody returned my call or even get on the phone when I called to talk to a manager they put me on hold and never came back.Just poor service.i was so hurt and no one helped me.you all just stared at me! Don't waste your money on a Boost membership! I ordered groceries at 1am today To be delivered between 2-4 pm. At 3 pm I'm notified it will be 5 pm before groceries delivered. At 7:30 pm I have not had any notifications of when the delivery will happen. Finally got ahold of a Kroger Manager who basically said they have nothing to do with order! Everything goes to Instacart. Gives the number for Instacart and tells me to have a nice day! No apologies for the delay! Instacart says no one was assigned my significant order and they have no idea when it will be delivered! Tonight...tomorrow.... Kroger closes at 10 pm. I'm working at 7 am. Needless to say, I cancelled the order! When I questioned why I was not informed about the delay, I was told they have no way to do that! What!?! They have phone # and my address!! And to have Krogers take no responsibility is wrong! I will be cancelling my Boost membership and requesting a refund! read more

Pretty, classy, Kroger close to my workplace. Easy to get in and out if you pick the right time to shop. The store is set up for commuter families, with the ready-to-heat foods up front. Love the faux wood floors and the inset liquor store, which is framed in wood, just like if you found it in the Bowery. The place is clean and easy to navigate. The staff is friendly and work the checkout like pros. The only complaint I have is that I couldn't find the "clearance" section, or what Kroger calls "woo hoo" items. It's a great place to find delicacies that no one wants to pay the original price for! read more

So hard to find organic/alternative dietary foods around Toledo, but this Kroger's has an unexpectedly large section dedicated to it! Frozen, dairy, non-dairy, dry goods, bulk goods, you name it! Incredible selection for a traditional grocery store. Good prices, well-stocked and great variety of products. Totally saves the day when we are in town! This store is huge, they have absolutely everything you could want. The staff is friendly and helpful, everything is clean and organized. Very thankful for this particular location. read more

I shop here regularly and will continue to do so most likely (although perhaps less often than before) as they are close to my home and have a better selection of semi-gourmet foods than Walmart or Meijer, but I had an utterly horrendous experience tonight, bad enough for me to create a Yelp profile for this business so that I could write a review. I checked out around 11:30 PM, and the cashier pointed out to me a notice on my receipt that informed me that there was a recall notice on Simple Truth Chicken 22 ounces, because it might have salmonella or listeria. It turned out. . . this was one of the items I had just purchased! I was told that I would have to come back in the morning and return it as the customer service department was closed! They would not refund the money without the product. So basically they were suggesting that I take this chicken home, where it might contaminate other items in my fridge with salmonella, and then take time out of my busy professional life to return the chicken before it went bad, for a refund of $8.51. I told them to keep the chicken and throw it out, and I went back to the meat department and bought another brand of chicken not subject to recall, which I proceeded to pay for . . . surely they could have offered for me to take the other chicken for free in light of the recall situation? I can understand that they don't want to have their customer service desk open 24 hours, but they need to have some sort of alternative way of handling this type of situation -- either allow me to take an alternative item for free or give the cashiers the ability to take returns on recalled items if the customer service desk is closed or make it so that recalled items are not able to be checked out. I could maybe understand how not allowing this would be ok on a canned food, where the potential contamination is sealed away. But raw chicken ?!?!?! Maybe this particular chicken was not recalled and it was a different batch that was recalled -- but the receipt did not indicate that. I hate to think that somebody else in my situation might have used the auto-checkout, not noticed the recall notice on the receipt, taken the chicken home, eaten it, and gotten salmonella! read more

I'd say I'm overall pretty pleased with this location. What I need is almost always in stock, the pharmacists and their techs and interns are always very pleasant to work with. The pharmacy and the store itself is typically very clean. I do most of my shopping late at night, as to avoid peak busy hours. I also love that it is a 24 hour store, because if you are out late and still want to grab some sushi after other places close, there is almost always a good selection left on the shelves. Unless something is on sale, prices are not always the best, which is why I decided to give only a 3 star rating. It pays to shop around and compare prices. Without naming names, I will simply say that Kroger's competitors typically have better prices on grocery items. read more

This is one of the few Kroger's that remains 24 hours in the Toledo Area. It's one of the larger in the area, it has full service meat and seafood, deli/bakery, florist and Pepe's Playhouse so you don't have to haul your kids around the store. It's nice to have Pepe's Playhouse because I have a niece. She's older now, but when she was younger, I didn't want to have her in the cart crying for everything that she wanted. If you know kids, that's usually anything with a cartoon, colorful or shiny. So leave them there, and you can keep an eye on them while you walk through the store, they have monitors throughout the store. This store is also convenient because it has a Fifth/Third Bank inside that stays open until 8 PM and a Pharmacy right in front. read more

Worst store for customers! We never get out of here without something being overcharged. Ad and app states red grapes are $.97 a pound and we get home to look over or receipt and low and behold we got charged $1.99 a pound for 5.11 pounds of grapes. If it was once id'd understand but nearly ever time we go to this particular Kroger we have to go back. The service desk is staffed by only 1 person and then have to wait with the multitude of other people that had their orders screwed up too. I keep telling my husband that close is just not worth it and to stop shopping here as I have done. read more

An older grocery store that doesn't try to be something it's not (a grocery store which is a hardware store, toy store, clothing store, etc.). Smaller than most I've been to, but exactly what I'm looking for. Cashiers are always friendly, and it's a nice and calm atmosphere. I do most of my shopping on Sunday mornings - and it is always pleasant there. read more

The lady who helped me at the pharmacy was very nice and helped me to the best of her ability. The only reason I can't give those nice folks 5 star is because there was a 15 minute or so wait but I guess that is to be expected at a pharmacy. I have shopped here for 12 years, every week, even as this place started getting trashy, even though there are 3 other grocery stores equidistant from me. I go there because the employees are nice and I'm a creature of habit. I have NEVER - ANYWHERE - in my life asked to speak to a manager but I had to today. Jackie who runs the cheese area is the rudest customer service person I have ever met! For some reason she has been rude to me for months-- and today was the last straw. I asked about marking down some cheese according to their policy - which has been honored for years - on cheese about to expire. She YELLED at me, said no, and said "I keep having to tell you that" like I'm a child. When I looked shocked, she said "go ahead and tell the manager I don't care." I have seen her be rude and bossy to other employees. She never smiles and is curt and rude to other customers. When I spoke to an assistant manager, he said he'd "look into it." I asked him how she was going to know who had complained unless he talked to her right then and there - she was standing 5 feet away! He refused to talk to her in front of me to confirm my story. When I left, she laughed, threw her hands up in the air to show she didn't care and waved goodbye, very nasty!!!! I'm 47 years old and have never been treated so badly by a service employee. Never going here again - hello Fresh Market and Whole Foods and Costco! All of which are closer and better! All of which I shop at monthly and have never seen a rude person! This place doesn't care! I MIGHT be back someday if I hear she's been fired! read more

This location has gone so downhill over the last few years but today was the last straw. Garbage can by door overflowing, garbage all over parking lot and sidewalk, used cart wipes and sale ads in the carts, no sanitizing wipes for carts. Went in for 1 specific item and once AGAIN it was out of stock. It is a local product for goodness sake and there is no excuse. I went to Meijer and they had lots of it in stock. The Maumee Kroger is so much better but farther away. Maybe time to change management to someone that cares about the shoppers experience - like the Maumee managers do. A nice clean Kroger. Don't shop between 4-7 pm on weekdays, way to packed and not nearly enough cashiers. (Apparently 5 cashiers are just enough during the busiest time of the day.) The staff us helpful and friendly. The pharmacy is fast and even open on holidays. read more

Its a typical Kroger for the most part, the one thing that makes this better than the others I have been to is the large selection of organic and gluten free. It is literally a gigantic section full of organics and gluten free, so for anyone into that this is the place. read more

Pleasant grocery store to shop in. Not the largest grocery store, and not the largest inventory either, but they still have what you need. Unfortunately I am quite disappointed with their selection of fresh bagels. They are almost always out, and I have varied the times of day and days of the week that I have shopped. The prices are also a bit higher than other mega grocery stores, but the atmosphere and friendliness of the employees definitely make up for it. read more

This is "my" Kroger location, and I've grown to like it. For years, I wouldn't shop here after getting approached many times in the parking lot for money..not Kroger's fault, but it was unsettling. I've been back since the remodel and am pleased with how it looks! It seems the bakery and deli are larger and stocked with a nice variety of foods (although why is the bread slicer ALWAYS "out of order"?) I love the natural food section the best...by no means am I healthy or a tree-hugger, but they have a great selection of Greek yogurt that no one but me seems to buy (two words: Manager's Special) and CedarLane frozen entrees (which taste like real food!) The cashiers and baggers are always friendly any time of day and don't even make a fuss when I use reusable shopping bags (unlike a certain "Mart" down the street does). The parking lot is easy to navigate (unlike several other locations in town) and they have a gas station, too (across the street). read more
