With that said, the best find here is Betty herself. She's an absolute gem, so fun to talk to and clearly works hard to make both her shop vendors and customers happy. At this point I questioned if this place was still in business and wasn't about to send my money to nowhere. I ended up driving down to Cinci for another item on the other side of town from this place and decided to just stop by since I was going to be down here anyway. Store was open. The 3 guys there were friendly and welcoming, but they informed us the item had already sold. So it still wasted about an hour of my time adding this stop to my trip. I'm sure they are pleasant to work with and they probably pride themselves with finding nice antiques, but I'm frustrated by the many failed attempts to contact them via multiple avenues and the wildly outdated website.

The first time I met Lee Krombholtz was with a friend whose husband had known Lee for many years. We went to his jewelry store for a special event. I was very impressed with the quality of the jewelry and most of all the warmth I felt when I was introduced to Lee and his wife, Heather. After purchasing several pieces of jewelry from Lee, I decided too have him redesign a ring that I had not worn for years. My fiancé and I came here with my engagement ring to have some modifications made to it that our previous jeweler told us was "not possible". The staff went above and beyond to make sure my ring was perfect and the whole process was so enjoyable that we went back to have my wedding band custom-made!
