A few minutes later, two women entered and were immediately greeted and offered help. The double standard was obvious. Only after my expression made it clear I was unimpressed did the employee finally say something -- claiming the other women had an appointment. That excuse doesn't change the fact that I wasn't even acknowledged when I walked in. Greeting a customer takes seconds, and the indifference I experienced spoke volumes. I make it a point to support small, local businesses when I travel, but this kind of dismissive and selective service is unacceptable. If this is how they treat customers, I would strongly suggest taking your business elsewhere.

I personally chose a gold bracelet with an initial charm, and Elaine B. put it on me herself :) While waiting for our turn, we shopped around the store, and there were lots of beautiful, minimalist jewelry items for sale that I LOVED.
