I brought a ring here to be repaired and two to be cleaned. I am so happy with their service. Every person in the shop was very personable and helpful. My rings that were cleaned were done that day and came back looking better than ever - with no charge. My ring that needed repaired was assessed and I was told it would be ready within two weeks, a very reasonable amount of time in my opinion. When I picked up the ring, you couldn't even tell it had ever been repaired. I wish I took a before picture. I will be back for future jewelry purchases. Their store is gorgeous too. This shop is one of the few that offers all of the top brands in one place, making it easy to compare watches from different manufacturers side by side. Rolex availability was better than a lot of dealers, and they had an excellent selection of Tudor and Omega models to see. I live in Virginia and recently began my search for the perfect engagement ring for my now fiancée. Updating to say, Richter has moved across the street in a location they truly deserve! Sparkly, new, and shining just like their diamonds. LOVE HER!) and I tell her I need a band. I also tell her my wedding is in -- MEXICO -- in week. Her jaw drops to the counter and she goes into straight hustle mode. She pulls some things based on what I tell her I like and no joke I bought prolly the third band I tried on. We all agreed no questions asked - it was the one! It was simple, clean, sophisticated, and exactly what I wanted, despite not really even knowing what I wanted. The CRAZIEST part? It was my size and I walked out with it THAT DAY. Which Mary Jo said was fate. I was meant to come in and buy that ring and I agree. A very stress free, and fun experience again, with Richter & Phillips! P.S. I also want to add that when you buy your rings here they will re-dip, clean, and re-tightened everything once a year FOR FREE! I have never been so embarrassed attempting to buy a Rolex by a Rolex Dealer.. Horrible selling policy. I'm an active duty Naval Officer from hawaii on vacation visiting family in Kentucky for Thanksgiving and wanted to pick up an early Christmas gift. However, I attempted to buy a Rolex Explored II, the store after verifying my card matched my ID charged my credit card and then stated after charging my card that thier in house ID verification machine which was "fail proof" did not recognize my Hawaii driver's license and stated that since I wasn't local "they didnt know me" So I provide a secondary ID a US Govt issued military ID and they stated they didnt know what one an authentic one looked like so they couldn't accept it. I have been buying Rolex around the world for years and have not been rejected like this ever. Since they could not verify my drivers license or Military ID they refunded the transaction on my credit card and told me leave. This company needs to look at their ID verification process as it is flawed!! I spoke with owner on the phone afterwards and he stated that even his new Ohio license was rejected on his system. This company lost out on two Rolex watch sells today, while David was ringing up my watch, my wife picked out a watch that she wanted, so unfortunately David lost out on a huge commission for the sell of two watch because of dumb policy. Oh and I was wearing a Rolex submariner! Until your company fixes its policies or updated its system I can not in good faith recommend this store. Besides being embarrassed, I felt discriminated against because I didnt have a local ID!! Oh and the kicker I was told I could bring back cash or cashiers check and they'd gladly sell me the the watch. read more

I have purchased two preowned Rolexes solely based on his craftsmanship. I have taken watches in for repair and had them returned in better than expected condition. When my good friend in Florida got his 30 year old Rolex wet, I insisted he send it to me so that I could take it to Matt. It goes with out saying he was overjoyed to get his 'everyday watch' back in better shape than it was before the near drowning. He even found someone with a similar size wrist to try it on so I could see how it looked. Half joking (but only half), I asked if they could ship it with a bag of Grippo's-- and they actually did it. They even carefully packed it to make sure nothing got crushed in transit.
