I was in the area and felt like Jamaican food so I decided to give Kru a try. I ordered for pickup but when I walked in I was pleasantly surprised by the vibes. Bob Marley playing at an enjoyable volume and a good amount of seating inside. Customer service was great and my order was hot and ready in time. Smelled soo good so I couldn't wait to dig in. My curry chicken was flavorful with just the right amount of spice with white rice and plantains. And the Rasta Pasta with oxtails were scrumptious! Tried this wonderful oxtail with Rice and peas with steamed vegetables. First time visiting this establishment. The oxtails fell off the bone. The rice and peas were good. The steamed vegetables were good too. I also was afforded the opportunity to try the festival for the first time, which was fried dough that had a nice semi sweet ending to it. The service was great also. Nice mix of island music playing . Very clean restaurant and the restroom was clean also. also ordered the fried chicken. Which was also tasty. . Best Jamaican food in the area! Jerk chicken was perfect! Rasta Pasta was flavorful. Festival was fresh & soft, not oily and hard. Pumpkin rice was unique & had actual pieces of pumpkin in it (I wish I had some more pumpkin pieces :)) Mac & cheese was really nice as well. This location also has cold pressed juice options. This place is beautifully decorated and love the Bob Marley music. The Serve and people are very friendly and helpful. I had a chicken patty for lunch and the flavors brought me back to Jamaica. I had a hard time picking what to buy because I wanted to try everything. I bought the curry goat for my husband and he said his mouth was enjoying the flavors. This is the best curry goat he had. I tried a few pieces and he is right. He enjoyed the rice and peas. I also bought the Mac and cheese which was so flavorful. I had the jerk chicken with pumpkin rice which were amazing. I and my husband searched for some food online and came across Kru GrillHouse. Upon entering I notice how clean everything was. We were greeted with a smile, pleasant host and our food tasted fresh. I ordered jerk salmon which was made on the spot. I love the fact the fish was tasty no fishy taste cook perfect. Wasn't dry at all. We split a drink the waiter gave us 2 cups with ice . We even took home food absolutely delicious. I noticed this establishment by shopping in the plaza so I decided to stop by. I purchased a mild beef patty, and a small chicken noodle soup, and a mild beef patty. The beef patty was flaky and had a delicious beef filling. On the other hand the chicken noodle soup was watered down and a bunch of vegetables floating in unseasoned water and specks of noodles. I would not buy the soup again. The establishment was clean and the customer service was great. read more
