I brought my 2023 Dodge Durango in twice within a month for a Uconnect issue. On the second visit,…read morethe dealership replaced both the main battery and the auxiliary battery, which is located in a sealed compartment under the passenger seat. When I got home, I checked their work and was shocked to find popcorn pieces inside the sealed compartment where the battery had just been installed. They also removed my dash and I am concerned what they may have left behind it. I immediately called the dealership to express my concern and dissatisfaction. The service manager flat-out denied any responsibility, claiming they didn't put it there and refusing to do anything about it. I pointed out that they should have inspected the area before installing the new parts, but he brushed it off with excuses and still refused to make it right. I don't know what is under the battery. This kind of customer service is completely unacceptable. If this is how they treat attention to detail and accountability, I won't be returning--and I'd strongly caution others to think twice before trusting their vehicle here. What if it was metal pieces and it caused a fire touching the battery.

We pulled over and I looked all around and underneath the car... nothing. Knowing that we had hours of driving to go through rural areas, we decided to go to the closest Toyota dealer, Voss. They looked it over and even took apart the brakes to make sure everything was OK. Everything was fine. We don't know what happened, but we at least had the peace of mind that nothing terrible was going to happen many miles from home in 15 degree temperatures. They got us in quickly and charged us a very nominal fee. They were polite and took seriously our concern that we were traveling with a small child in bad conditions and needed the peace of mind. I highly recommend Voss Toyota.

I came here to a scheduled 9:00 AM appointment to have my transmission fluid and brake fluid changed as recommended from a previous visit. It's now two hours later, and I haven't been advised how much longer I will need to wait. Toyota in general used to be a very welcoming company when you brought your vehicle in for service. Often they had coffee, water, often snacks available while you waited for your vehicle. They usually offered a car wash too. I noticed this when my dad bought a Toyota in Mansfield OH and when I bought two Toyotas from two different dealers in the St Louis metro area. The Toyota customer experience is quite different now and I am beginning to wonder if I will ever buy another Toyota from a Toyota dealer. It feels like the customer isn't valued nearly as much. I don't know if this is a problem endemic of Toyota as a whole or just the individual dealerships. Somewhat recommend.

When I asked for the Car Fax report, the owner told me, 'I ain't gonna sell you no piece of turd' and then said that he did not know HOW to pull a Car Fax report because his salesman who usually did this was not present that week. He said, 'if you really need it why don't you pull it and I'll cover half'. I asked about the maintenance record of the car and the owner told me that it had no issues when he took it to an auto repair shop, but he said he 'couldn't promise' to produce the report. He also couldn't let me test drive the car because he lost the key, and had to have it towed to the dealership for a reproduction. During our discussion the owner made several references to his political and religious ideologies which I did not care to hear and had nothing to do with the purchase of the car. This made me very uncomfortable. When the owner finally faxed me the Car Fax report, he also SENT THE CREDIT REPORTS OF TWO INDIVIDUALS who were applying for credit at his dealership, complete with contact information, social security numbers and credit scores. I informed the owner that not only was I NOT going to buy a car from him, but that I was going to alert these individuals to his irresponsibility. He said, 'thanks sweetheart' and hung up on me. He then called me AT WORK and proceeded to tell me that he didn't need my business and that I could do whatever I wanted, as he had been in business for 22 years. He then hung up on me again. Stay far away.

I do not recommend doing business with Maranatha Auto in Dayton, OH…read more Extremely disappointing experience!!! Very greedy owner ***Integrity index = ZERO** Date of issue: 5/7/2011 Description of issue: I communicated to this sales office about a used vehicle in which I was interested. Being that the car lot was and hour 1/2 drive one way I wanted to make sure I did all I could do over the phone and by email. They gave me a email price quote and I decided to go test drive the vehicle. The car was dirty & smelly - no detailing is done at this place - mildew also. Believe it or not - I was still interested in the car because functionally it tested to my satisfaction and I HATE car shopping and wanted to be done. I told the guy, I'd take it. I was used to buying closer to home where they take my checks. This place would not take my check since it was not a local bank - my bad -lesson learned! He needed a certified check -- this would mean another 3 hour round trip for me. This is where it all went South. The salesman called his 'boss' and asked him how he could procerd - could he take a deposit from me to hold the car? Well the 'boss' said "NO". The reason -- he decided the car was worth more and he had up'ed the price by a grand and he wanted to sell it at the higher price. The salesman told me - - we'll have to honor the lower price if you come back with a certified check but I can't hold the car for you. You would think I'd be smart enough to walk away at that point but, regretable, I did not. So off I go, I get a certified check. I call them 2 days later in the morning - ask them if the car is still there (as I want to avoid another wasted trip) and I am told - Yes - it's still there and it's ready to go for me. So I pack my family in the car for the 3 hour round trip - - (with gas prices at $4/gal this is costing me $75 for the 2 trips and 8 hours of my time.) I get to the location, walk in the door and the salesman tells me that he was unaware but someone else put a deposit on the car and he could not sell it to me. I shook the dust from my sandals and walked out the door!
