Got new siding from these guys. These guys are professional, talked me through everything, and was able to answer my questions and concerns. They had to fix a few items that was lacking from the original installation as well as the routing of water from the gutter downspout. They have a product that gives a warranty to the next owner. They called my husband back right away after he left contact information. However, when they called him back they stated that I needed to be available as well when they came for an estimate. My work schedule does not make this possible and my husband is home for the summer. After several times my husband explained that I could not take time off to be their for the estimate he was told that "well this is not going to be a good fit" and hung up on him. Rude company. Can not give a review could not even get them to come and look at the job. They will not deal or even come out and give a quote if you dealing with an insurance company. I told them I had the check to pay them but since it has something to do with insurance they would not come. They would not even talk to me on the phone, could not get past the operator. Would never call again. If that is how they handle calls I would not want to deal with them to try and get the job done. Pretty sad. Very rude staff. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE OF MY LIFE!!!!!! Would like to state that the individuals that did the installation were great; they did a fantastic job installing the windows and cleaning up after themselves... None of the issues with this company are related to the installers. Ordered the windows March 23rd 2019.... they finally got installed today, JUNE 11th. If ii was to account everything that had happened, this review would be too long and no one would read or benefit. So here is the gist: Sales person came to the house to show us the windows - that started off well, Sales person's name was Jeff. Once we received the quote and signed the paperwork, Jeff tells us that he once sold a roof that was supposed to be $50,000 for $30,000 and that Krumwiede ate the difference and gave the guy a commission.... wow, people make mistakes and this company tries to understand people are human.. Awesome! - NOPE! Re-reviewing the order, I see that the outside color of the window was marked as white, not American Terra as selected (need a brownish color for my association). I contact Krumwiede and let them know if the issue. They tell me it was a typo and that they will get that corrected asap. My association and I try to get a response / updated order from Krumwiede and their production manager Ross (if you interact with this Ross person, go to a new company - you will thank me so I can get my permit approved. TWO WEEKS GO BY - then I am told that it is about an $1,100 upcharge to have the color changed - When that was what I selected in the first place. - Fine, I need windows as I plan on selling the home and moving my family soon. A few more days go by and we still do not have the change request. My association states that they have to deny my permit "Due to no response from Krumwiede" - WOW! Those commercials on AM 560 should say "We take your money and then let you sweat". Lets fast forward now... They call me and tell me that they are ready to install the windows - 8AM Friday morning - Awesome! - oh wait.. NOPE... I get a call close to 4:00 PM - sorry one of the windows are broke and we cant install all 4. I asked them "May you please come out and install the 3 windows, my wife and I have re-arranged day care (have a 1 1/2 year old daughter) and have taken the day off...... Response - wait for it... per Ross (the production manager) "IT WOULD BE AN INCONVIENCE TO ME TO COME OUT TWO TIMES TO THE HOME - IT NEEDS TO BE RESCHEDULED" ... OK! Customer service is NOT top priority for this company. Weeks go by, numerous calls, numerous messages. The poor guy answering the phone (Jack) took a lot of heat form me, but was nice. I only talked to Ross about 2 or 3 times. FINALLY - the window is in and they are going to install it - the next day - NOPE... window is broke - cannot install it. I call back and beg them... Please, do not schedule any installation until you have the window. - Now, it June 4th or 5th.... we found out that Monday (the 3rd) that my little girl (this is hard to write)... that my little girl has a tumor and we need to have surgery ASAP - scheduled for Wed. 06/12. I call and plead with this company to please do what they can to get my window in due to my daughter's surgery and that I have no idea when I will be able to have them come back after surgery. I have to call back about two or three more times leaving messages to beg for the window to be installed. They FINALLY get back to me and say that they will be at my house at 10:00 AM June 11th... Guess what.,. I have to call them back at 10:51 AM since no one is here. i ask to speak to someone in charge - I am told - Oh - yeah - Ross is on the other line, he will call you (Still waiting for that call Ross). - No, I want to speak to someone else, an owner - I need to have my story told. - they tell me, oh, I don't know where the owner is, somewhere in WI. - sorry. The installers showed up around 11:15ish - and again they do outstanding work. I really hope this helps you... unless you have months to argue, plead, beg and have the cost go up on you due to their error....go somewhere else.... this company does not care about you. read more

I used this company to reface my cabinets. They did an excellent job. They were neat, careful, came on time and finished on time The materials came from Ohio on time. They put up plastic barriers around the work area and I had no dust in the rest of the apartment. They also had to build 2 drawers and rebuild 2 cabinets. I noticed a couple of days later that there needed to be a minor adjustment. I called and they came the next day. read more

The price was decent, not great, but I thought I'd be paying for the customer service. Jim was good with the pitch but not super flexible with the options I wanted when it came time for the contract. Felt a little suspicious, I think they push certain products over others. Or maybe he didn't want to rewrite the contract, who knows. Either way his demeanor totally changed once he knew we were going with them. We were in a hurry to get our old leaky roof on our new home replaced so we just went with it. It looks good but isn't exactly what we hoped for. Ross and John were great, though Ross didn't return my last info request about a gutter issue. I guess that's the roofing business. I bounce between 2 and 3 stars, because there were good things about the experience, and some bad that still nag at me a bit as well. read more

We specifically enjoyed working with Kyle (gutters) + John (gutters), Greg Olsen met with us at our house multiple times to address ALL of our questions and concerns, and the required time frame for the work to be done on our house. The 2nd meeting a very nice representative discussed our options and questions and explained the choices we had and the costs of the different choices. We signed a contract that day and within a few days they were replacing our roof. They were on time and finished the whole project by that afternoon. The sales pitch was great. After that light to zero follow up. I had to call for status. You get bounced around to quite a few people. After over 6 months 1 window is wrong and one window is leaking. I've been having to keep a condensation diary as we play around with this window. They've been here several times to look at it and still leaks . Ordered August 1, 2020 I'm still here almost 7 months later and the job isn't complete. Ross has done his best and seems like the only person they will allow you to talk to and then he can only do what the company allows. So for now 1 leaking window that i have sent numerous pictures on and another window that's not what I ordered .Installer was great but they only sent 1 for a 2 person job. I ran up and down the stairs closing the door behind him. I wanted to be so happy with my decision AM radio ads and been in business for over 60 years. I would not use them again depending on how they handle all the areas that are wrong with the job I will change this review. For now no customer service to speak of and did not deliver what I ordered. You need to keep on top of them not the other way around read more

Will not do business with them again. I had a small job of installing roof vents. When first contacted by their estimator, he was very thorough with how they went beyond the typical contractors. After the work though, I realized that none of his pitch was true. Their crew used my painters' tape to fasten the vent exhaust, never replaced roofing shingles like promised, and installed the wrong chimney cover. $1300 for one hour of terrible work. I sent their business manager an email to explain my concerns, but of course....no response. This type of company should not be in business. Look elsewhere. read more

I called on a weekday mid-morning to request a estimate. Spoke to Gina to ask if they (Krumwiede Roofing) handled weather damage that occurred within the last 1-2 years. She rather clearly and loudly insisted that this is not a storm-chasing company and they don't have any knowledge of anything of the sorts nor do they have the resource to accomplish such a feat. So, I recapped clearly and calmly, that they do not work with the insurance companies and, ok and thank you. I'm still not so sure why she was so upset and calling the company "not storm chasers" so many times. I hope she has a better rest of the week and I'll just look for another company since my particular insurance says that if it is proven they will pay for up to the past 2 years.... SO, save yourself from getting yelled at unless you are planning to pay out-of-pocket for a new roof. read more
