My fiancé and I along with my best friend and his fiancé wanted to try Krystal for the first time. We arrived and the parking lot and drive thru was a ghost town. We drive around the building to see one worker playing on her phone, so we parked and went inside. As soon as we entered the building, we were hit with this stinch what I could describe as "moldy sour milk". The lady behind the counter didn't even know we had entered the building as she was playing on her phone, only did she realize when the line cook said "welcome in". I turned to look towards the drink machine, only to see this giant crusty white stain that covered half of the counter and looked to have spewed out from behind the drink machine. Seeing this, along with the stinch of spoiled milk, I spoke up and said "we shouldn't eat here." This place definitely needs a health check by DHEC. read more

I've never had Krystal's before, but I was told it was like White Castle but for the east coast. So I DoorDashed a combo meal and got what I thought. It's definitely a guilt pleasure type of late-nighr meal. You don't come here for a healthy salad or longevity. You're going here for the immediate satisfaction of a quick slider that has potential and mix in the chilli fries to mask the flavor of the square patties of the burgers. But I have to say, this place hit the spot for a down-and-dirty fast food joint where you want to eat away your problems and pretend dinner was the best way to get out of the house. Enjoy! read more

I'm originally from Long Island, NY. It was mentioned Krystal's is the equivalent of the "White Castle" burger which is a New York staple. Whenever I go to New York I always manage to visit a White Castle for their burgers. To say I was disappointed in Krystal's is by all means an understatement. The burger meat was paper thin, tasteless and they had the nerve to put mustard on the burger instead of ketchup. The chopped onions looked more like freeze-dried worms. Nothing about the burger was uniform. It definitely met the criteria of a slider because every item including that sliver of meat sled right off the bun. They should send a secret shopper up to New York, specifically the White Castle located on Sunrise Hwy in Lynbrook or even the one in Hempstead. Order one and I guarantee you cannot eat just one. We used to sit and eat 10 of those burgers each in one sitting. I'm afraid my cat won't even touch the Kyrstal burger that to my chagrin I paid over $40.00 for the 24 combo meal. I'm sorry. I wish you lots of success, but in my humble opinion, I see another hyped up eatery going down for the count if your product doesn't show improvement in quality, flavor and all around appearance. The customer service was superb. I drove up to the window and was greeted with a smile. The ambiance outdoors looks pristine, however, the entrance is too close to the main highway. I see many wrecks in the near future as the entrance is a quick left and turning traffic is behind. If I could give 0 stars I would. I went for breakfast this morning and asked for the 3 egg breakfast plate as I usually do. I asked for egg whites as I normally do. I was met with the employee very rudely rattling off how they cook them and I said yes but they usually do egg whites for me all she said was "ok" so I assumed that meant ok we will do it but it was dead silent. I asked so is that it? Because I didn't get a total or anything and she screamed at me saying "I NEED TO KNOW HOW YOU WANT YOUR EGGS COOKED!" so I said I want egg whites so could you ask!? And she said "oh no ma'am not like that" so I said that's ok I will just come inside. So I went inside asked to speak to the supervisor and to my shock SHE IS THE SUPERVISOR! She rattled off some poor excuse why she could not manage my request about them being so busy and something about the computer, however there was no one else behind me in the drive-thru and maybe 2 people already seated and served inside. So I will not be returning to that location as long as she works there. The worst excuse of a manager I've ever seen. She will run that location into the ground treating customers like that. Went to the Krystals in Whiskey Rd in Aiken, SC to order a chili... I received half a bowl of chili and called the store, but no one would answer there was only 1 car there before my daughter left(it is never busy there). I called the second time and someone answered....they then hung up on me when I asked for a supervisor. I then called back and asked for a supervisor again, the young lady said: CAN YOU HOLD ON?? I said yes... I was on hold for a while. When I called back again, I asked if it was possible that I can speak to a supervisor,she said yeah... when I tried to explain the issue she yelled ma'am I cannot hear you and it is loud in here! I then spoke louder and told her that I had half a bowl of chili and spent about 4 to 5 dollars on it. She said no you did not... I was here and he filled it up. I said ma'am yes, it was half a bowl...what happened to the rest of it if he filled the bowl? she said ma'am I do not know! I then told her I did not get a receipt to bring it back. She said no it was not half a bowl because I was here and half of it dripped out of the bowl. She then heard my daughter make a sound and I told her to wait a minute you just told me I was lying about how much chili was in the bowl. She then became irate and said I cannot hear you because you are trying to argue with me and yelling at me! I said you just told me that it was not half a bowl then stated that have of it dropped out. You also told me to speak louder because you did not hear me. She then said you want to come to get the chili? I asked if you want to come back! I then told her no I do not trust you guys... I need your name and the store number. She then started telling someone in the background she do not have time to argue with this lady about a bowl of chili do you want the chili or customer service? She said then she told the person(I got it) she then started fussing again... I am trying to make 34 krystals and do not have time for this, she is lucky I am not(she mumbled intelligently). She then continue telling the person I remember I use to curse people out all the time at Mc Donalds. I kept saying hello on the phone to get her attention back to me. She kept talking to the other person and she was in speaker so my household heard the disgusted things she bragged about doing. She then said to me, you keep arguing with me ma'am what you want? I said to her, I keep asking for your name and the store number. She then kept ignoring my request. I said this would have been over with if you answered my questions earlier without talking to the people in the background. She said I was not talking to people in the background and I do not have to district manager's number. I told her if you were listening I asked several times for your name and the store number. She kept talking over me, I said why you would not give me your name ma'am...she said it is Keisha Walton, then started rambling about she do not know the store number she is new and had only been here for 2 weeks. I will continue dealing with the Krystals in North Augusta, SC, the food is fresh and service is fantastic not dealing with nasty people just to get a full bowl of chili. read more

Me and my husband was in there about roughly 8 Ish. The two women that was working there was so nice and beyond great customer service. But while we was waiting on our food there was a young black guy came in and he went straight to the cook who was cooking our loaded tater tots he was to busy aggravating her about his food and trying to miss her up with our order. Then we saw him snitch a fry with no gloves on off the line. He was just rude and unprofessional to me to be off clock and aggravating the process. He should of waited until customers was done. Then he went and sat down while he waited to clock in. Other than that the women was fantastic and so was the food. read more

Great experience. The food was fresh. The service was quick. The location next to a traffic light made getting in and out easy. The biggest thing was the friendly, efficient service from the employee at the drive- through. This was my first visit to this Krystal. I will return. read more

This is the first time I had been to this location. Let me first off state that this was probably the cleanest Krystal's I had been in. Then the general manager was at the register waiting for us. He was extremely nice and ready to assist us. He held a conversation and man he just made our July 4 travels awesome. He needs to be an owner of a store. He then got me a to go order and milkshake that he made himself. He was a leader not a boss. You could tell the other employees enjoyed there job with him. Will be coming back. read more

Well, while we were waiting in the drive-through we watched a female employee vomiting at the back door. Absolutely do not want to eat anymore. As she walked back in she wiped her mouth with the hand that will helpfully be washed then spit the leftover mouth vomit into the pile of puke. read more

Went to the drive thru, very rude customer service...wouldn't give me change in a dollar like I asked and we waited 15 minutes for our food meanwhile other people in the drive thru were coming and going like flies as we sat and waited for our food. This is ridiculous and I work in food service and would never treat a customer the way I was today. read more

Tired after a long day of travel. Decided to pick up some food here and take to the hotel. I ordered the 12 pack, 6 regular and the other 6 no mustard add catsup. Totally confused the order taker. So we went over it slowly. 12 Krystals, 6 regular just like you always make them and the other 6 put catsup on instead of mustard. Oh OK i got it he says. Then says do you want cheese on them? No cheese on any of them. Gave me my cups went to get our drinks while they processed my order. No lids. Asked for lids, sorry we are out. Only have icee lids. OK that will have to do. Wait 20 minutes for my order. Get back to the hotel, 6 have mustard, the other 6 have mustard, catsup and cheese. Too tired to go back. We eat some of them, but they tasted terrible. All employees were clueless. Some standing around outside smoking. Right by the entrance door. Others at tables playing on their cell phones. Do yourself a favor and stay away! read more
