This well worn Krystal location has certainly served it's fair share of customers through the years. I'll admit I wasn't too excited when hubs picked Krystal as I've never been a fan of their burgers BUT I've always liked their chili cheese pups. 1-star- For serving customers with both bathrooms out of commission and not being able to wash hands. Thankfully, their neighbor Taco Bell had operational, clean bathrooms. 5-stars - For chili cheese pups as good as I remember! Their crispy , skin on fries were good, too. read more

I stopped here traveling from Texas to Florida. we ordered a little bit of everything, and it was exactly as advertised. Everything was made fresh and you could tell the prize were way above standard fast food fries. The workers were polite and got the order correct. The bag was packed neatly and everything was hot. I will warn you when you order the burgers plain they will still have onions based on the way they cook them. I assume you will need to specify specifically no onions. But I suggest if you've never been here in my opinion it's way better than White Castle. read more

I was glad to find a Krystal on this stretch of Interstate 10 during a long drive across the panhandle. I ordered four original Krystals with cheese and everything about them was great -- the bread, burger and mustard. Service was fast and friendly. Judging by the flowers and landscaping next to the drive thru, this location is one of the nicer ones I've visited in the chain. Stopped for a quick bite. Only thing open off the highway past midnight. Too bad the food was cold and just not very good! Prices have increased so it's not a cheap quick stop anymore. Waited almost 20 minutes on the driver though line and only two cars ahead of me. Some people left the line. I guess I should have followed them. Subject: Unpleasant Experience Message: I arrived at the Krystals location in live oak Florida and pulled into the drive-thru lane. All of the lights and everything were on, there were also people inside. We waited at the drive thru for over 10 minutes before pulling up the window due to no one talking to us through the intercom. A blonde female worker walked over to the window, opened the window and said "we're closed" before slaming the window and walking away. The store hours were showing open untill 10pm at the location. There were also people in the lobby waiting on food. Several of the employees were outside smoking and talking. Not sure if they closed two hours early without posting signs or if they just didn't want to take the order. read more

The French fries were really good the burgers not so much. Our order was correct and prompt we just couldn't really eat the burgers.

I would not recommend this place to anybody. First and foremost the place was very dirty sticky fours almost every single table was dirty and the place was empty. There was food crumbles under almost every table as well and when I say the floors were sticky meaning my shoes were sticking to the floor. Now the food is with the food is it wasn't all that great my chicken sandwich was well it had been sitting for a while so it was really bad and to top it all off we sat there and watched the gentleman who made our food touch our credit card and not change his gloves and proceed to make our food in front of us after contaminating everything. I hate to give negative reviews but I would not recommend this place at all somebody needs to come in and clean house I mean management should be fired. read more

As far as Fast Food at 9pm goes, this is certainly not a bad option. We treated ourselves to some Krystal Burgers and Chili Cheese Fries on our way back into town and we're glad we chose Krystal. This was our first time trying out Krystal and I think I can say with some level of certainty that I'll probably be back again on another road trip. The Burgers are very simple and just like White Castle. The Fries were on par with other fast food places as well. If you haven't tried it out yet and are undecided, I'd just tell you to give it a try because honestly why not. read more

Stopped here on the way thru town. I don't have a Krystals within 100 miles of where I live so I'm always excited to stop by one. The staff were super friendly, there was a small wait for the food because they had been swamped but nothing too bad, and the Krystals were just as good as I remember them. The restrooms were clean and there was even a cleanliness checklist on the back of the restroom door for the staff. There was plenty of parking and the location is right off of I-10. I wouldn't hesitate to stop here again if I were in the area. read more

This is the absolute slowest fast food restaurant I have ever been to. We have now been in the drive through for 30min with two cars ahead of us. Meanwhile, the cashier and another employee have left the drive thru window and are out talking to someone in a car. My first and last Krystal Burger experience was a bust. Oh and they didn't put everything we paid for in our bag so we had to park and go in. The manager then told my husband that she remembered putting them in the bag. They were not in the bag. Seriously, did they even take 5 minutes to train their staff? I have never, and I mean never, seen such non-organization in a fast food place before. It was complete chaos. While waiting for our order, there were three people who came in to complain of messed up orders, and not a just little messed up! After I had to complain that no one was getting our order together, the girl behind the counter took MY receipt and went to get it (this after no one taking our order for the longest time). We ordered 8 sliders, no cheese, three med fries and two med drinks and a shake. Well, they got the shake right, but I watched the person who made it asking where it goes. I finally asked if it was an Oreo shake and was told yes. I said it was ours. The girl behind the counter couldn't find any med size cups, so gave us large ones (guess I can't complain about that), but only after I asked for the cups. When I was finally given the bag of food, there were 8 sliders WITH cheese, and only two fries.i looked around, thinking maybe the screen that has the orders was broken. Nope, screen was there and functioning. Plus, the girl had my actual receipt in her hand. Got another fry and decided to eat the cheese - or we might still be waiting. The service was awful. We waited almost an hour for our food when there were only two other people in the restaurant. Then had to wait longer due to our order being wrong. The few people that were in drive thru had to park and come inside due to the wait and messed up orders. Staff was also rude and cursing at each other the entire time. I went there for lunch with my parents, it was disgusting! As soon as we walked in it smelled like a mixture of puke and poop, went to wash my hands and the water was barely trickling out, the tables were all dirty, the staff was rude, the carpet part of the floor was extremely sticky, the burgers looked grey and were extremely soggy, and I got severe stomach cramps and diarrhea when I got back home. Ok it's not White Castle, but I was hungry...I've never tried Krystal before, so this was an opportunity. The sliders are heavy on the mustard and grilled chopped onions. The burgers were hot as well as the fries. Service was great..I noticed the warmth and friendliness of the staff. I must say that the choices of food while driving up and down 95 are lack luster, but when it comes to fast food, Krystal is a first choice. Being a NY transplant, you never forget the taste of White Castle burgers. Over the years, the taste has definitely changed. Too bad Krystal is not in NC..I think it would do well here. read more
