This place is pretty nasty. Go in the restroom and you'll see the towel dispenser falling off. They need to update and paint inside, ice chips all over the place, and the trash can where you throw away your stuff is nasty. My wife told me the women's bathroom had no toilet paper and it was clogged. If you look at the glass and the mirrors and everything they are all kind of smudged. This may be the love-child of Freebird's and TacoBell. (I mean that in a complimentary way!) The order process is very similar to FBird's, and my wife's tasty Chicken Junior Burrito was the size of a Hybrid. (All good w us.) My Steak-Stack was a vastly improved version of a TBell item that I enjoyed (until TBall DC'd it)! Much better food-quality than the TB version, with interesting textures and flavors - as well as very filling! Score this win for Moe's!! Warming the melted Stack's take a few mins, but overall the process is quick. Serve yourself soft-drinks. Great lunch options! read more

Y'all they said "your change is $9.63 can we put the 63 cents in our tip jar?" I said "okay!" And there was no tip jar, he just left it in the drawer. Then I got out to my car and realized he kept $1.63 of my change lol this place is a scam and a half. Usually love Moes but this location is a mess. Also the food tasted like bad. Bad! The chips tasted burned and like old fryer oil. I threw everything away it tasted so bad. What a waste. read more

We stop at this Moes frequently as our halfway point from school to home, usually having an OK experience. Today was different. Everything was going smoothly until we ran into the first issue. We order a cup of guacamole and upon tasting it noticed a strange flavor. Very bland, but at the same time having a chemically soapy taste. The worker was very accommodating and replaced it with a side of queso. Both my boyfriend and I ordered the steak bowls and immediately noticed the steak had a strange unpleasant flavor. We couldn't finish our meals but had already paid $30+ so we didn't want to waste it. We ate around the meat and only had the beans and rice, still feeling wasteful. Pulled into Moe's to grab some lunch. It was 11:12pm the door was locked so I called to see the time of open. Shortly after a rude male employee walked out and dramatically expressed how they received a massive online order and there was no way we could be accommodated until noon. There was another girl customer that was standing out front that was there for a door dash order for just a cup of queso and the employee with a tone said "there's nothing they could do and they only make so much in a day". I understand that many restaurants are low staffed and big orders can be very overwhelming. However the situation was rude, non apologetic, and completely unaccommodating. I 1st have to say I love This place. I get their tofu bowl which is always a huge portion and fresh. I accidentally left my charge card at home it was most embarrassing, however, when I told the cashier I was not able to pay she said OK. Virginia, the store manager walked over and said she totally understood things happen she was going to throw it away because she's not allowed to put it back so you might as well take it rather than go hungry and me waste food. She was most pleasant even apologetic for something that was my fault. Virginia was the most kind hearted person I have met genuinely concerned for me even though am the one who made the mistake. I cannot commend Virginia enough for being customer centered and being genuinely kind. read more

I haven't been to many Moe's locations in my life but this one takes the cake for being the absolute worst I've been to, I'm writing this review a little late because I was just checking Yelp for a local restaurant I went to which I was very impressed with but never-mind that for the moment. The place wasn't very clean, the male bathroom included. I've never been to a place that would short me on chips for so much, I ordered extra chips and it feels like they gave me an ice cream scoop's worth! The one in Lake City, which is the only one I've been to outside of the one in Live Oak, fills up the entire bag instead of a quarter of the bag, so I'd go home with nice chips and salsa and queso for a later meal or midnight snack, whatever the case may be. The food also was a lot different from Lake City's, there was more meat options. I ended up trying a different meat than I usually get and the meat was foul. Might be a little TMI but the burrito actually made me vomit, nevermind it being slightly cold as well from the time it was in my hands, in my car, and a 3-6 minute drive to my house. My girlfriend was worried I'd keep getting sick if I continued to eat the burrito so it went in the fridge in case I debated on even trying it later but it eventually got tossed during a fridge clean-up because I was not interested in giving a second chance. I will not be back because I'm not a huge fan of Moe's in general but I also just don't want a similar experience. read more

This place is disgusting. I'm only giving it a one star because I watched the steak be cooked. But it wasn't even that great anyway. Not seasoned at all and super chewy. The staff seemed super lazy and the store was beyond dirty. The floors were a mess more than half the tables were dirty and the counters for salsa hadn't looked cleaned in over a week. They were out of everything. The coke machine was covered in prints and god only knows when it was cleaned last. I regret eating here. AND they were out of chips so I paid 10 for a pathetic burrito. Do not come here. This place needs a lot Of work. Also clean your damn grills. read more

Stopped here for lunch and almost walked out. It seemed dirty and was iffy about the freshness of the food. My husband felt the same way but we ended up ordering it anyway. I regret that! I have to agree with Chantell's earlier review and disagree with Laura's on cleanliness. This experience is just like every other fast food experience which makes it weird to even review it, but hey it was quick, clean, and the staff was nice enough. You won't find the best burrito you've ever had at a fast food restaurant, but hey if you want someone to stop at real quick and satisfy that itch for queso or a burrito than this place works. The server was nice. The taco shell was stale. The chips were stale and not salted at all, I did get any kind of salsa with the chips. The onions were not chopped up well. I love made to order fast food experiences. These are key to not gaining 20lbs on roadtrips. There's even a handy dandy function on their website so you can calculate nutrition info before you order. Moe's are not very common where I live so having that variety was also appreciated. I always feel silly reviewing fast food restaurants since they're all pretty identical. This location was no different. Cleanliness was good, customer service was decent and the food was pretty much what I expected. Service was very slow, seems like the workers were overwhelmed with a massive pile of online orders and one of them virtually gave up and was complaining about the volume of their orders, this happened at the same time of a quite a sizable dinner time crowd and so the line grew almost out the door. The only focused worker was whisked away to deal with a frustrated customer and so left the lion share of the work to his coworker who audibly groaned and bellyached, making a few mistakes which forced him to restart orders, said frustrated customer had ordered online and had waited a full half hour at the place, still without his food ready. Finally I got to the counter and I was given small portions in an attempt to move me along to the register. Management needs to visit this location and make adjustments. read more

Good deals, good service, good salsa! I stopped by on a road trip when I was starving and was glad that I did. The staff was very nice and made my burrito bowl quickly. They were generous with the toppings and I did not have to ask them multiple times as I have other Moe's establishments to please put on more corn, salsa, cilantro, etc. It was clean and the salsa bar was well stocked. Had a long discussion during lunch on a topic of Chipotle vs Moe. I think Moe has better toppings options than Chipotle. My son likes the taste better at Chipotle, I think they taste the same. We stopped by this location while driving home from Tallahassee to Tampa. It was conveniently located near a highway. I was freezing the entire time during lunch however. Staff seems nice. On another visit though, the staff member that was taken my order, didn't even offer me the cheese, (liquid gold) or much else. So I played dumb & asked about all of the ingredients that she didn't offer me that was to go into my burrito bowl. But my 1st time there, the female (I'll have to get her name) that served me, actually helped me & was patient, friendly & professional! She went above & beyond! Which is rare nowadays. But getting back to that 2nd visit. It was nowhere near closing time, so the response that I got from calling *Moes the next day about my steak (I was told that "Oh the steak probably had been sitting around for awhile & was old) But I was trying to explain to that staff member that answered my call that, the steak was tough as in gristle & connective tissues. Such as maybe 2 of the 11 pieces of steak they put in my bowl, were edible. & for a bowl over $10? Yea I'd better be able to chew my steak with out having to use the jaws of life. So finally I'm at the cashier station waiting on that staff member to finish stocking up food items on the prep counter, since they were sooOOO not busy & had plenty of other staff that could of done that or could of just checked me out 1st. But nope. Which was good that, that cashier chick forgot all about me & decided to top off the counter since 2 people came in about 9 mins after me. (I WOULD of been outta there by then but, you know people get distracted.) Few! Way to miss THAT rush of people, right? Anyways. the moes staff member that I spoke to on the phone suggested to me to have/ask the person behind the counter to cook up a new batch of steak when ever I ordered there again, so that my steak wouldn't be tough. So I thanked her for taking time from her busy schedule to not being able to resolve or understand my issue with inedible steak. Also on that 2nd visit, when the cashier finally did return to cash me out, I asked her about the free salsa on the sign & if I could have some. She said of course & asked me what size cup I wanted. Well after returning home I realized that she didn't provide the free salsa like asked, but instead gave/charged me a large cup of cheese queso. Yea, way to much money for what you get.
