It was a very busy Saturday night. We were added to the waiting list. The Hostess was very friendly and seated us quickly. Our waitress was prompt took our drink orders and followed up frequently. Management was walking the floor following up with customers and ensuring proper service. After spending a week on the coast with understaffed, poorly manage restaurants It was nice to see a restaurant that was staffed, organized, well run and a happy staff. Great food and great service! I've eaten at this Texas Roadhouse for years. I can't say I've EVER had a bad meal here. The service is consistently the best in town also. Based on tonight's meal, I would rate as 4.5 stars (overall) due to our server Jessie (5 stars) being an excellent host. The nick in the score was due to my NY Strip having a corner of the steak having a large vein of fat. Steak was cooked perfectly & came out with a warm temperature but the vein was probably 2 oz. of the steak. My wife had the salmon which she said was cooked perfectly ad well. The ambience is your typical Texas Roadhouse decor but it is always active and plenty of TV's to catch any sports action going on at the time. We are down from Georgia for the Florida /Tennessee game tomorrow and wanted to go to a place that is familiar and we know will be a good experience. I love Texas Roadhouse and stop at one most anytime I'm traveling. Today was no different. Ordered a ribeye, potato, and salad had to change it a to-go order and eat in the car because it was so cold in the restaurant. They must've had the A/C set at around 60. Several of the guys at the bar were complaining and the bartender just said that the manager likes to keep it cranked down for some reason or the other. Ridiculously cold. One star for not caring about the customers' comfort more than your own. read more

The grilled chicken Caesar salad was delicious, and my wife loved the killer ribs. Casey, our server was very accommodating and helpful. We came in with a large group, and arrived a little late. She, however got us seated promptly and our order arrived with the rest of the group. I would definitely eat here again... the only tiny negative would be it was extremely crowded and busy at 11am; however they (staff) handled it very well. Texas Roadhouse in Lake City Fl. Wow. I had not heard of this restaurant. I was on a business trip and stayed in Lake City. My co-worker and I eat a to go dinner. The same dinner 2 days in a row. It was my first time, I was pleases. We were so tired from work but did not want to spend a lot or get a lot of food we may not eat. The kid meal was just right. We ordered the same thing. Kid meal steak bites and baked potato. Both days it was good. Now that I know I would change the steak wellness. The stake bites were fresh. The potato was also fresh. I am not a fan of the cinnamon butter but it did not bother me on the baked potato. I still prefer regular butter. I ordered the lemonade and got a strawberry lemonade which was better than the plain lemonade. I am happy the mistake was made. For the kid meal I spent about $10. Since I did not dine in I cannot speak about the atmosphere. However, the to go server was great both days. She even asked us if we wanted to check the order, great job! I am going to recommend Texas Roadhouse although I did not dine in. Give it a try, let me know how you liked it Menu - chicken strips, steak bites, steak, choice of 1 side. I paid an extra .79 cents for the baked potato. Like I said I was pleased with the order. Oh did I forget to mention: food still had heat by the time I got back to hotel, I did not have to heat it up. A disappointing dining experience because of so much noise and the shouting and dancing that the management thinks is enjoyable for diners, which for us, it was not. The steaks were cheap versions of the cuts we had hoped for; there was gristle in the filet mignon and the prime rib looked like a sad blop of tired meat and was totally forgettable. This is a steakhouse for people who don't care about the meat quality or don't know the difference, and who enjoy eating dinner in an atmosphere of total bedlam. read more

Josh was our Bartender and what a treat. A very nice gentlemen with a great sense of humor. He got us our drinks & dinner rolls. Which are over-the-top soft, sweet & served hot with cinnamon butter. Simply delicious !!!! We split a full rack of ribs (which is why the picture is only half).... Which was huge!! The meal came with two sides , we ordered the baked potato & Caesar salad. OMG.... The ribs were soooooooo juicy, tender, and delicious!! The salad was crisp & very cold, the potato was fully loaded and seasoned well !!! Kudos to the Chef & kitchen team. The food: the broccoli could have had a little butter or something .. bc no matter how much salt I tried to sprinkle .. they were tasteless. The loaded mash was ok.. I really enjoyed my smothered steak .. My husband and I ate here today for the first time, we were with his brother and sister-in-law. The location is a little difficult to get to depending on which direction you are coming from. The location was clean, and we were seated right away. Our server was attentive and friendly. One of our favorite things about Texas Roadhouse are the fresh, hot yeast rolls and cinnamon sugar butter! They never disappoint and today was no exception. For lunch My husband and I split an 8-ounce medium sirloin, garden salad, sauteed mushrooms, and green beans. The steak was delicious and flavorful! The mushrooms have such an umami taste, the green beans were yummy, and the salad was fresh and crisp. My sister-in-law gave us a potato skin and rattlesnake bite to try. The potato skin had a lot of cheese, but was a little overcooked. The rattlesnake bite had a spicy jalapeno bite and a ton of melty cheese! Rating from F to A+++, it gets an A++! This was, without a doubt, the worst dining experience I've ever had. From the moment we walked in, the staff made it clear they didn't want us there. We were greeted with, "We're closing soon," even though there was still a full hour before the actual closing time. Our group of 12 was told we could only sit in tables of four, which I was willing to accept at first, especially since there were plenty of clean tables around us. But then they tried to seat us in completely different parts of the restaurant! When I pointed out the clean tables nearby, they said those tables were "closed" because they were preparing to shut down. I politely asked if they could clean a table closer to us, and they flat-out refused, repeating, "We're closing." I asked to speak with the manager, thinking some common sense might prevail. Instead, she gave the same ridiculous excuse and then actually told us that if we didn't agree to sit separately, we'd have to leave! Unbelievable. The staff clearly didn't care about customer service and just wanted us gone. To top it all off, they had already pulled out cleaning supplies, and employees were rushing around cleaning while other diners were still eating, making the entire atmosphere uncomfortable and unwelcoming. This place doesn't deserve anyone's business. Horrible service, unprofessional staff, and a manager who clearly doesn't know how to treat customers. If you want to be treated like a burden, this is the place for you. Otherwise, avoid this location like the plague. read more

Ambiance was terrible with seat cushions removed all over the place to stop customers from sitting in the booths they don't want customers sitting in because they refuse to hire enough staff to serve the size of the restaurant! We were told at the door, 10 t0 15 minute wait while they waited for more staff to arrive, we went into the bar, seen empty booths, thought we could sit in there, I almost broke my already "Lumbar Fused" back when I didn't realize the seat cushions had been removed! So we sat at the bar where the bartender eagerly wanted to serve us food, we told him we only were having a cocktail while we waited for a table. Then we seen him go talk to the hostess, and as 20 minutes passed, we noticed customer after customer come through the door being seated and the hostess along with a couple of girls standing around her at the front, continued to look over at us. I walked over and ask why all of these people were being seated while we were told we had to wait? The hostess said: Oh, we text you! I said no you didn't, showed her my phone and she said oh, ok well don't know why you didn't get the text but someone will seat you now! It then clicked that the bartender was telling them to keep us at the bar so he could have something to do with the bar almost empty because he continued to ask us if we were sure we didn't want to order, while the girls kept watch on us to see if we were going to order. Was seated at the table, Charles our waiter did a great job, nothing buy shells in the bucket of peanuts, some girl came around asking if everything was alright, I said nothing, my wife who never speaks up for herself said everything is good. We ate, we will never ever go to a Texas Roadhouse again, we should have looked for an Outback, that offers no lying or game playing at the front and can afford to hire a complete and full staff! YOU NEED TO TAPE OFF THE TABLES THAT YOU REMOVED THE SEAT CUSHIONS FROM BEFORE SOMEONE 70 YEARS OLD LIKE MYSELF, HURTS THEMSELVES BADLY!! Done with Texas Roadhouse, stop being CHEAP and hire the staff necessary to run the establishment or close it! read more

We stopped here on our way home from Orlando. We had a 32 ft camper with us and absolutely relieved that they had parking to accommodate it! The restaurant area and bathroom were clean/updated/well maintained. It was a bit chilly in there to us. They have plexiglass up between the tables and servers do wear mask, albeit not consistently correctly.. I ordered the chicken portobello mushroom and the hubbin ordered steak kabobs. Both were very well prepared. I could live off their rolls and cinnamon butter - love'em! They also have really good ranch dressing. Our waitress was Victoria W. *who wore her mask correctly* She was so pleasant and very kind. "Sure, absolutely, it's no problem" - "You need a to-go drink, let me get you a fresh one." I have never found a Texas Roadhouse that was worth visiting twice, food is typically cold & service is ok at best. We just moved to the area and had no clue where to go for a hot meal since we had a house full of boxes. My wife and I noticed the Texas Roadhouse on Yelp, I was shocked by the great reviews so we have it a shot. The food was hot, service was on point and the atmosphere was very welcoming. We have now visited this location twice in the last week, both times it was exactly what we could have expected. I would highly recommend this location!! read more

Texas roadhouse always has delicious steaks and other options. The waiters/waitresses are almost always extremely helpful and courteous. The one thing that usually keeps me away is the noise level. There are so many people there and it is so crazy loud, I just don't go there sometimes. read more
