A friend and I ate dinner here while traveling through Vermont. The restaurant was really dark despite a lot of ceiling lights and very basic. But it was clean. The server was knowledgeable about the large menu offerings. The food was really good and the portions large enough to take home for a second meal. All of the sauces tasted homemade.

Chicken korma was tasty. Not the best I've had but I would eat it again! I would ask for it spicier next time too. Rice was overcooked and clumped though, sadly. Pork dumplings had a light curry flavor that was pretty nice and a curry dipping sauce. The wrappers on the dumplings were on the thicker side, so made them a little dense. Employees were all very nice and food was ready in the quoted amount of time for takeout.

Coconet chicken curry- the chicken was very tender. It was probably the best I've ever eaten. It is so delicious.

Solid choice for lunch as we were passing through. Good food and solid service. I would consider it pretty authentic Indian food.

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner here before going to a performance at the Lost Nations…read moretheater a few steps away. we were promptly greeted and seated by our hostess who explained that a new Southern Indian menu section was just added. We saw Masala Dosa was now offered. We are huge fans of dosa from our previous lives living and working in Singapore. We also ordered the Bindi (okra) and the lamb vindaloo. Food is super tasty - very authentic. the masala (potato) dosa came with a creamy coconut chutney, and spicy sambar, and a big bowl of gravy. We loved it. The Bindi and the lamb soon followed. Amazingly tasty, cooked to perfection. The lamb could be cut into smaller pieces with a fork. We were asked about the level of heat - spiciness - we preferred, and the medium had just the right level of burn for both of us. We also enjoyed a mango lassi (cool and very refreshing) and because my wife eats gluten free, I got to enjoy a wonderful butter naan. Portions are very generous, we both took half our meals home to enjoy the next day. All in all - a great menu selection, plenty of gluten free options, great location on Main Street, and plenty of on street free parking after 5 PM. The hostess was fun to chat with, and gave us good tips about SE Asian food in general. I highly recommend. We will come every time we go to a show at the theater or at the Savoy.

We ordered around 5pm for take out, but found out they were backed up by ~30 minutes. Finally got around to getting our order around 7pm. We ordered a decent amount of items to split among a group of 5 people and everything had us licking off every last bit off the plate . PORK MOMO: We ordered 2 servings of these and they gave us a very generous serving size of these. The momos were also very plump with a delicate skin wrapped around it. The sauce it was dredged in was very flavorful. Highly recommend ordering this. GOAT VINDALOO: If you're worried about the goat being gamey, it's not. The goat was very tender. The vindaloo was very well spiced and paired very well with rice and naan. We asked for this to be medium spicy and it was very manageable for our group. LAMB BIRYANI: We ordered lamb, but they gave us chicken. Was not really a fan of this. It seemed like regular fried rice to me. There was a hint of citrus to it which was a plus for me. SAAG PANEER: My favorite! Highly recommend getting this. They gave a generous amount of paneer, all doused in a flavorful and hearty spinach sauce. I literally licked every last drop of this out of the container LOL CHICKEN KADAI: Perfect bites of chicken breast in a tangy sauce. Very worth it as it's the most protein dense of the dishes we ordered. All in all, you can do no wrong by ordering from here. Their dishes are guaranteed a flavor bomb to your mouth and subsequently a satiated appetite. TAKEOUT ONLY.

OMG I lived in Portland, Oregon for 25 years and we had tons of different restaurants to choose from and this food was amazing. It's in morrisville VT which is close to Stowe where we were staying. We parked at the convenient store and went inside. The shop was located on the left side. We went up to the counter and placed order. The menu was pretty limited. They offer mostly curry with either chicken, pork, or veggie. (Pork was special at the time) and samosa as well as dumplings. We got chicken and pork curry with rice, samosa and dumplings . Samosa was ok. Bit stale as it's likely been sitting for some time. Dumplings were pretty good. Good chewy texture and inside was flavorful with some beef fillings. Used some hot sauce on the side to change up the flavor if you like mild spice. Curry was ok. Flavor of the curry was good but meat was overcooked and dry as it's probably been sitting for while. The rice was also overcooked and soft and sticky. Not a-lot of flavor on rice even though it has some star anise and spices in there. Service was good. Older Nepalese guy was running the area. He was nice. You get a slip and pay at the register for the convenience store. Price was pretty reasonable. Overall it's an ok place. I had high hopes that it may be a hidden gem but unfortunately was not as good as i hoped. If anything i would recommend the dumplings which was good and was reasonably priced but i would not necessarily go out of way to go there just for dumplings. If you are around stop by for quick dumplings. Otherwise there are probabaly better place near burlington.
