Really great take out option - loved it all and will be back for sure. Great to have the Lower Bar next door while you wait on your order :)

We ordered around 5pm for take out, but found out they were backed up by ~30 minutes. Finally got around to getting our order around 7pm. We ordered a decent amount of items to split among a group of 5 people and everything had us licking off every last bit off the plate . PORK MOMO: We ordered 2 servings of these and they gave us a very generous serving size of these. The momos were also very plump with a delicate skin wrapped around it. The sauce it was dredged in was very flavorful. Highly recommend ordering this. GOAT VINDALOO: If you're worried about the goat being gamey, it's not. The goat was very tender. The vindaloo was very well spiced and paired very well with rice and naan. We asked for this to be medium spicy and it was very manageable for our group. LAMB BIRYANI: We ordered lamb, but they gave us chicken. Was not really a fan of this. It seemed like regular fried rice to me. There was a hint of citrus to it which was a plus for me. SAAG PANEER: My favorite! Highly recommend getting this. They gave a generous amount of paneer, all doused in a flavorful and hearty spinach sauce. I literally licked every last drop of this out of the container LOL CHICKEN KADAI: Perfect bites of chicken breast in a tangy sauce. Very worth it as it's the most protein dense of the dishes we ordered. All in all, you can do no wrong by ordering from here. Their dishes are guaranteed a flavor bomb to your mouth and subsequently a satiated appetite. TAKEOUT ONLY.

Coming back from Montreal, we were craving some good Desi food, and Yelp pointed us toward a couple…read moreof places. We decided to try Indian Grill--and honestly, from the outside, you would never guess that this is a fine restaurant with great food and excellent service! We ordered dahi gappe, pakoras, the Desi Thai curry that was recommended to us, a chicken curry, samosas, rice, and tandoori roti. Quite a spread! The dahi gappe were the real standout for me. They came with their own little cup of sweet yogurt, which reminded me a bit of lassi, while the crispy homemade gappe were filled with chana and potato. I've had my fair share of gappe, and these were simply exquisite. So many flavors and textures at once--the sweet, tangy, spicy, creamy and, of course, that fantastic crunch. Delicious! The rice was also spot on. Long-grain, perfectly cooked, with each grain holding its own. None of that mushy, stew-like or oatmeal texture--just how rice should be--and the flavor was right where it needed to be. Both chicken dishes were tender and flavorful, with the meat pairing really well with both the coconut-based yellow sauce and the richer red sauce. The samosas had their own distinct character, more in line with the Indian-style samosas than the Pakistani version I'm more accustomed to. Different, but very good! The ambiance was calm and inviting, and the interior was surprisingly nice. But what really topped everything off was the kindness and attentiveness of the staff. Their recommendations were spot on, and they clearly knew their menu. If I have to be picky, the music could have been a little quieter. In a restaurant like this, I prefer music at true background volume so you can focus on the food and conversation. But that's a very minor point and certainly didn't take away from the experience. We'll definitely stop by again whenever we're in the area. A great find in Plattsburgh

The Chicken Vindaloo was so flavorful and the spice level was perfect. The sauce had a nice viscosity and the chicken was nice big pieces. Though they were tender, they were a little dry, and the rice was a little plain. As for the garlic Naan, is was soft and came with 3 unique sauces. Each were different but were fresh and added incredible uniqueness to the meal. I especially liked the green sauce and the pink pickled peppers. The whole dinner provided two meals. As for service, the person at the door was very warm and helpful with the menu. The inside of the resturant was very welcoming. Next time I'm in town, I look forward to trying their buffet. All of the food looked wonderful.

We saw Masala Dosa was now offered. We are huge fans of dosa from our previous lives living and working in Singapore. We also ordered the Bindi (okra) and the lamb vindaloo. Food is super tasty - very authentic. the masala (potato) dosa came with a creamy coconut chutney, and spicy sambar, and a big bowl of gravy. We loved it. The Bindi and the lamb soon followed. Amazingly tasty, cooked to perfection. The lamb could be cut into smaller pieces with a fork. We were asked about the level of heat - spiciness - we preferred, and the medium had just the right level of burn for both of us. We also enjoyed a mango lassi (cool and very refreshing) and because my wife eats gluten free, I got to enjoy a wonderful butter naan. Portions are very generous, we both took half our meals home to enjoy the next day. All in all - a great menu selection, plenty of gluten free options, great location on Main Street, and plenty of on street free parking after 5 PM. The hostess was fun to chat with, and gave us good tips about SE Asian food in general. I highly recommend. We will come every time we go to a show at the theater or at the Savoy.
