Even though it was nice to see my different options (they have a "star tier" system where you get 4 or 5 quotes) I didn't really need most of them because I was looking for just a regular garage door and motor replacement. For what I needed, I think I was at 2 or 3 stars, it was around $8500. Switching to a nicer motor and an insulated door put it at over $10000 which is insane. Any other company I looked like, they could do it for between $3000 and $5000. Unless this garage door installs itself and is made of some fancy metal, the pricing were absolutely absurd. Charging an arm, a leg, and maybe an ear too!

The owner is extremely knowledgeable about trees and he has a very capable crew of climbers, cutters, trimmers, and chippers. They all communicate and safely operate as an alert and experienced team. The job coordination went well, too. Communication was great - immediate call backs and texts. The crew arrived on time, were professional, polite, and neat. I had Garage Living come out and give me a quote Mike was on time and very nice. Unfortunately, I…read moredo not know how the guys are trained or what experience they have. If this was a rush job then that's what I received. I didn't haggle with the price I thought they were a professional company with their advice, advertising and the salesman. Job was suppose to scheduled first part of January so since I didn't hear from them I called Mike to let him know I was leaving for Florida for a couple weeks but he said they were running behind it will be when I return. Strangle that same weekend Mike called and asked if they could come on Monday to start the job and then finish it Wednesday...I reminded Mike we just talked about it so I guess but I would prefer to be home. With the snow that came in they couldn't get in the drive and fortunately it was rescheduled when I returned. Job was scheduled and completed in three days. New epoxy floor that looks nice and new garage cabinets. Mike text me "Does it look great?" I went over to the garage as I haven't had a chance to see it and I was very shocked so I texted him back and asked " Did you see the finished results?" Having a professional company come in and maybe I'm over the top but I'd think they would make the cabinets look fresh and new not dirty finger prints everywhere. After looking at the epoxy I notice around the whole garage the lower black metal panels had epoxy and the epoxy chips spattered up the wall about a foot. No, I was not happy. Mike said he'd get a team to clean it and they did but what ever they used took the galvanize off and made it shiny in the 1' area they worked on. Then I'll hey only did one wall after me and Mike went over everything. Now the solution is to repaint the metal instead a true replacement. The garage was just built last spring so not a happy customer.
